Been here so many times, can't believe I never wrote a review. This is one of our weekend or Fri night family fun/ friend date or after sports event hang out spots. The pizza, wings and food are always a hit!! The atmosphere is always very friendly and it is always busy, we always take up most of the room anyways and it gets crowded sometimes. We have had a few selected nights where the staff looks irritated to help us move tables so we have done it ourselves but we let it go, we have had 2 times where they messed up our order but were so sweet to redo it and let us keep the first one that was done wrong. Worst service ever, not what I was expecting especially directly from the OWNER. Thinks he's funny, but he's not. He is arrogant and rude. Came here with my grandsons soccer team , award night , I ordered a sandwich ham and Swiss , my usual , I hardly come To side of town so let's see how this PMD DOES, First the sandwich was horrible , it's suppose to have ham in it , they put 2 pieces of ham very small , the size of a pepperoni, the sandwich tasted more like bread and tomatoe , we asked for grilled jalapeño on our pizza , they gave us pickled , the sandwich had a stale taste . Not sure what that's from . The bartender was sweet very attentive. , the girls up in the front taking the orders were sweet too . The place is loud but it was full of kids which is expected ! Pizza Man Dan's is in my Top 3 Pizza places in Oxnard. This location is on Victoria Ave & 5th Street. Plenty of free parking available & is also shared with other restaurants & businesses. I've dined in, ordered for take out & ordered online. Location is a drive for me, but if I have a carb craving after work, I'll order ahead & pick some up. Online ordering is simple. If you sign up with your email, you can accumulate some rewards. Also don't forget to check in by entering your phone number in-restaurant. I also get texts about some deals they have for the day. There's another (PMD) Pizza Man Dan's on Victoria but that one is in Ventura, the next city over. So be sure to select the right location when ordering online. Pizza is yummy, especially when it's fresh so you can get that cheese pull. We usually order a Large Pepperoni Pizza & a Veggie Pizza. I've also tried the PizzaMan Special Pizza which is pretty good too... They offer Gluten Free Pizza, but Gluten Free Pizza is only available in Individual Size & Small Size Only. I'm addicted to their Calzones. The Hawaiian Calzone & BBQ Chicken Calzone are some of my Faves... Recently had a Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, & that 10" sub was a good sized sub! Hi. I had an incident with a driver on 12.10.25 in the afternoon. He double parked when I was trying to get out of the driveway. He took over 15 minutes and I couldn't get out. I was honking because I had to pick up my kids and. He backed up and flipped me off. I got out of the spot and he filmed me yelling f*** you and flipped me off and filmed me. I live at elm st and this is not ok. I don't know why he was so aggressive when I had my turn signal on BEFORE he double parked. It does not do them Justice, because they are plump and tender and you always get more than what you order. I LOVE the BBQ sauce. (I ate more than half before I decided to take a picture and send in a review). But the chocolate cake I was sure to document before diving in, because I knew it'd be gone if I took one bite (spoiler alert: I've had it before). They have a carryout special which has been continuously offered for quite a while. You get a large pizza for $9.99. This review should be a 2 star but I'll give it to the runners who were handling the food drop off. Although their frustration and annoyance was visible they continued to handle business. To be fair the system is flawed and that's not their fault. Confusion is the name of the game at this Pizza man dans. You have a variety of ways to order, at each table with a mounted tablet or at the front counter. If ordering at the front counter you get a table mounted number which conflicts with the tablet table numbers and has the workers running all over to find the table to drop the food. In the madness our pizzas weren't out in 45 mins so we asked and were told they'd have to be remade. Another 15 mins we had pizza. 60 mins to wait for pizzas. We did get the salad and wings early on so that helped curb the hunger but having the combo of pizza wings and salad together makes the meal but it was spaced out in this instance. The food itself was pizza man dans consistent so that was good. Another part of the experience not to the fault of the restaurant were the other patrons who just allowed their kids from 2-5yrs old just run around going in and out of everywhere throwing bouncy balls through the establishment. The pizza is much better than I remember but my complaint is I ordered a large pizza and 12 wings and they won't give me any ranch or ranch cups. First they told me there was "A" ranch in the wing bag. Yes a single tiny cup. Then they said I had to pay for them. If I just paid $40 why do I have to pay for a few more ranch cups?
