My partner and I stopped in here last night. We were craving pizza and the reviews for this place looked promising. It was a great decision! We loved the food, the atmosphere, and the staff. We were greeted immediately when we arrived. They took our order - a cheese pizza with mushrooms and garlic rolls. We went to a table that we picked and waited. The garlic rolls arrived pretty quickly and were delicious! They had just the right amount of garlic and cheese and were baked perfectly. There was olive oil and cheese left in the basket which we used to dip the pizza crust in. Highly recommend doing it that way, it was so good! The pizza was also great. We have leftovers for today which I'm looking forward to. The restaurant was clean and cozy. The bathroom was also clean, as was what I could see of the kitchen. There is plenty of parking and the lot is easy to get into. There's a light getting in and out so it's a breeze to get there and back. We are from out of town so we can't go here regularly but I did add them to my Albany food list so we remember to go back in the future. If you are in the area and looking for a place to eat, definitely give these folks a try! It's worth it! read more

I like cheese pizza and I'm happy to report that PizzAmoré does too. Roll up and you can order a slice and add toppings if you like that they will add fresh and bake quickly. The cheese blend is so flavorful. The crust is lovely and the buttery garlic flavor is divine. I dipped my crust in their homemade Ranch and felt like a star. We also ordered garlic knots and a gluten free pizza because eating gluten free is what some of us need. Let's discuss the gluten free crust. It was one of the best gluten free crusts I've had. It held up great, made a nice thin crust and was the perfect amount of chew. The sauce is the only thing that I'm not wowed by. It's good but not great. The knots were OK but didn't find them to be as magical as other reviews did. The staff here is so friendly and kind. Warm welcome and such a clean and inviting spot to hang out. Lots of to go orders that you can order online or call in. This is definitely worth the stop to hang out or even to go. Come get a piece of this. read more

So again my opinion at the time. So on the inside. It's well lit and the service is normally on the good side. They're pretty fast with their pizza to the table as well. Now I say this because I like my pizza and they do have good pizza cause I've eaten there quite often, but not so lately cause I'm a person that I try to stay in a reasonable price range, and well there are a lot of great pizza place out there now. I will say they're a little pricey on their pizza and salads. A few months ago for work I bought 2 pizzas for some coworkers. A medium and a large and paid $90. and some change. Again good pizza but just a bit pricey. But if you're a pizza lover then this is one of many out there that are good. Now I'm a person that if you actually go and dine in then I tip when the tip comes up on an order (pick up) I absolutely won't tip. Why? Picking up and dining in are two different things. Not afraid to say that in this day and age. I say if you do tip then why don't you tip at a drive through at a fast foods. Just saying. Ok so in the picture is a Cesar salad. I've had them a couple times there and they come with their garlic rolls and they are great. The only two complaints I have about the salad is some of the salads I've had there have the big chunks of the ends of the lettuce which could be hard to chew. I will say this. My partner doesn't mind the big chunks. Maybe just me but it's happened a couple of times. I say that cause salads I've had elsewhere had small pieces. But it's a good salad all in all. The other thing is for 2 salads you'll pay $40. About $19 and some change for a salad. Again it is a dinner salad there. Now I would suggest taking the garlic rolls cause if you don't. It doesn't change the price any. I will say that mine is only an opinion and the pizza and salads are good so at least try them out. Also it's just a complaint and not a disappointment. I will eat their pizzas anytime and will eat their salad if my partner pays. read more

This pizza is delicious! While on a business trip I ordered the "greek" pizza for delivery based on a local's referral. The greek pizza is a classic all veggie pizza but rather than tomato sauce as the base they use a garlic pesto base. All of the vegetables were fresh, the crust was crisp but not crumbly and firm but not dry--it was still moist at every bite. We got a pepperoni and olive and the meat lovers and can home with almost a whole pizza. We also got the garlic knots and those are sooooo good. The staff was a bit rushed (it was midday on a Saturday), but always polite and helpful. The dining area is smallish - so not an ideal for a larger group. But for me, it's sausage and pepperoni with the garlic sauce. The garlic sauce on the pizza is the difference. My boys go for the red sauce, and it's good. But the garlic sauce is the best. Went here on day 1 in Albany, the next day our event brought this pizza in. All of it was good pizza... They say it's NY style but the crust was fluffy while the slice was thin and floppy. No matter it tasted good. Ample toppings on these pizzas. I really liked the bbq chicken one. It had the best balance in terms of not being too floppy/eatability. The meat lovers one was tricky because there was LOTS of meat on it. Veggie pizza was also very good. Definitely would order again. Service was great. We took it to go and they provided plates and anything else we requested in terms of saving for later. Parm packets, pepper, and finger wipes. Ambiance was what you'd expect from a pizza shop. These pizzas are some crowd pleasers. We got a bunch for a family reunion. I appreciate how thick and chewy the crust is. It makes for a very filling slice. I ate two slices and I was plenty full. I enjoyed the quantity of toppings. My only complaint was I don't think they tasted that high of quality. In the famous words of Alton Brown, a dish is only as good as it's worst ingredient. The crust holds up well to all the toppings and doesn't get too soggy. The red sauce was kind of forgettable but the pesto was the one that I think did me in. Very rich. Garlic knots had lots of buttery garlic goodness. A little edge of undercooked garlic and a little tough but very satisfying. I can't think of better pizza around. My favorite pizza in Albany. The pies are always cooked perfectly and the toppings are fresh and plentiful. I often get the garlic knots which are divine, if you like garlic. Staff are always friendly and helpful. I usually call ahead and take the pie to go. It's a 20 minute drive home and the pie is always hot and not soggy floppy like so many of the competitors would be. My children can be picky eaters and will choose PizzAmore when given the option. Finally, Albany delivers some delicious food! After trying several places in town with less than yummy results, I had low expectations, but was surprised. We ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad- the salad dressing was different. I'm used to creamy Caesar, there's was missing a little something but it wasn't bad. The single salad was enough to share, and it came with amazing garlic rolls. If you're worried about vampires, these bad boys will have you safe for DAYS. Definitely not a good date night food choice, but delicious still. The pizza was also good- great crust, soft and not too thick. I didn't taste the pepperoni or meatball much, but that's ok. The cheese was melty, and overall it was really tasty. Definitely recommend a stop here if you're looking for some good pizza, lots of garlic, and decent salad! No where else in Oregon compares to the quality of pizza from here. It's simply amazing. I usually don't leave reviews but I had to after what happened tonight. I order online. 40 minutes later I show up to pick up. Get prompt service. Cashier comes back with two boxes. I'm like uhh wth I only ordered one 20" pizza. I kid you not this is her response "hey so since we care about our quality of pizza we kind of messed yours up and decided to make another. Do you want both?" YES I WANT BOTH! Seriously, too awesome. Loved this place! This was my first pizza stop in Albany and I was really impressed. The pies are super tasty and fresh, and never feel too greasy. (Great veggie pie, too! ) They have a great tap selection and parking is easy in their large (shared) parking lot. Totally going back. We ordered a Greek salad which can with the garlic knots and a meatball sub to share. We ordered and paid at the counter for this restaurant. The Greek salad was large and had lots of feta cheese, red onion, tomato, kalamata olives and lettuce. It was delicious. Garlic knots were great and addictive. The meatball sub had a great toasted roll, large flavorful meatballs, tasty tomato sauce, and the combination of mozzarella and Tillamook cheddar worked well. However, it doesn't dismiss your involvement in this experience with your store. I think this could've been addressed had you used empathy or just heard me out when I told you your customer kicked two little kids from their seats when I was using the restroom. You completely dismissed my complaint and didn't show any kind of care of concern for what that woman did to my kids. They weren't being loud or disruptive simply minding their own business. That woman felt entitled to make them sit somewhere else because she wanted that seat. You don't have to agree with me, and I'm not asking for you to. The whole point of Yelp is for people to voice their experience and rating. The way you handled it was simply writing me off, and dismissing me. Just had the most EXCELLENT pizza and garlic knots you could imagine. Really good salad too. Their small pizza is really big and could easily feed 2-3. Their "single serve" salad is more like a 2-3 person salad also and all of it, HEAPING with toppings. Delivered in about 50 minutes, we'll within the time we were given and by a very polite young lady. Flippity flippin' shit! this is some fanfuckingtastic pizza I tell you what my homies. I ordered up two slices cause I was feeling pretty god damn hungry but I should have just ordered one because those individual slices are fucking huge. I cant speak for what types of slices are in the regular pies whether they be square or triangles or rectangles but I'm definitely curious now. After I ordered I went back outside to the car to look for some ho's on tinder to share my pizza with, good thing I didn't find any cause that pizza was so tasty I would NEVER share it. PizzAmore delivers the best pizza I've had in Albany. The sauce is a bit spice-heavy and for me (as an elder millennial), that spells certain heartburn. Have I stopped ordering it despite the pain? Heck no, because it's just that delicious. A lot of folks really like the garlic knots, too. I also like them, but I've stopped ordering them because I've found that I much prefer the pizza. The crust is probably my favorite part of a pizza when it's done right, and PizzAmore's crust delivers. PizzAmore is a bit spendy compared to some other pizza shops around, but it's worth it.
