We ordered via Uber Eats, so I can't comment on the service or the ambiance. I can assure you the Hawaiian pizza was delicious! We ended up eating only half of it that night and had plenty of leftovers. We also got cheesy garlic bread, because why not? The marinara sauce we dipped the bread in was delicious and I wished we had ordered extra!

When I hear the question, "Where should we go to dinner?", out pops the immediate answer: "Pizzazz!!". Even when it's sub-zero temps, the casual, inviting restaurant serves up all the warmth necessary. Shannon was our friendly server who brought the eggplant parmigiana dinner with no wait. Delicious!! Pizzazz remains a popular eatery in Cleveland Heights, delighting customers since 1975. The substantial menu presents Italian fare and a variety of salads. Takeout does a hefty business, as does dine-in. You know I'll be back soon!

This pizza dough was definitely not fresh. Tasted like cardboard.

The frying oil was probably old, too. Zucchini fries tasted bitter, it was also cold. We had only one waitress who took care of the whole one side of the restaurant, who also bartended. Oddly enough, there were a bunch of waiters and waitresses in the back running around, the restaurant definitely feels very disorganized. I want to support local businesses but serving cold food is just a no no. The owner of this place has to do better!

Incredible flavors from start to finish! The appetizers set the tone with fresh and tasty bites. The chimichurri steak and garlic shrimp were the highlights of the evening. The pizza was also cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ended with a sweet dessert that tied everything together. I can't wait to come back!

Pizzazz is a cozy little spot just off the campus of JCU that doesn't feel so little. The staples are pizza and pasta, and with a nice bar and sports on the monitors, I could see this as a nice hangout for groups or families on game day. The service was a little slow based on staffing, but the person who helped us was capable and nice. I'll look forward to returning with friends.

We ordered to uber eats. Our Food is alway delicious . It arrived fast and they secure the food very well with tamper proof seal.

Calamari without any sauce as advertised??
    Amy J.

Calamari was hot. They forgot sauces it was supposed to come with and silverware but quickly gave these to me when I returned for them. It was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and not too hard or stale. Good calamari and total was about $14.

I love Pizzazz - it is my go to place for a salad. Absolutely cannot be beat. But today, this is my view. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Ordered a pick up salad at 6 on a Friday, was told 35 minutes. It is now 75 minutes and I was just told they are making my salad next. You've been forewarned. Bring a book.

The service was attentive, and several people checked on us throughout our meal. I ordered the lobster ravioli, and my daughter ordered the pesto pasta and added chicken. Both dishes were excellent. The lobster ravioli was extremely flavorful, and my daughter really enjoyed the chicken with her pesto. This was some of the best Italian food I've had. This might not be saying a lot because I am from L.A. and we are not known for our Italian food. My only complaint was the bread. Most Italian restaurants offer complimentary bread for the table, but Mia Bella charges extra for it. That wouldn't bother me as much if the bread were something special, but it was extremely ordinary. It was warm, but otherwise pretty tasteless; no garlic, garlic butter, herbs, or anything else to make it memorable. I'd definitely skip the bread and order a legitimate appetizer instead. All in all, the experience was very strong, and I would definitely return.

It is definitely on the formal side. The food is top notch and some of our favorite items are the bruschettas and salads. Very nice spot for a date night or special occasion or out of town guests. I appreciate greatly from them that you can select in your reservation which zone of the restaurant you want to sit in. Service has been very good when we've been there most recently Corinne I believe her name was was very friendly and helpful and did an amazing job managing many tables some with difficult customers. One note, NOT a negative to me but may be noteworthy for some: I don't think Gigi's is a spot for kids or large family events with kids, unless they have a private dining space I'm unaware of. Space between tables is tight and the space overall is not huge but they make great use of the space. The staff are extremely efficient and there are many of them moving with trays at any given time, it's absolutely not a spot to walk around with a toddler if they get bored at the table. The chairs for example are also small so don't expect a giant family size booth here. Again these are positives to me but just notes!

We were fortunate enough to sit by the front window and had a clear view of the restaurant and the street. The staff was very friendly and very helpful and they did a great job. We started off with their famous bruschetta and we're not disappointed. So many choices and so hard to pick, but we loved every bit of it. For entrees, we had the signature lasagna that was fantastic and a special from what I remember was short rib and couscous. Everything was very delicious. The only downside coming to this wonderful restaurant is parking. I had to park two streets over and walking on icy and snowy sidewalks was not pleasant.

We were waiting on a few other members of our party and invited to relax at the bar with fabulous service and excellent excellent treatment. The warm environment of this family restaurant was like getting a warm hug on getting a cool rainy day. (It was!) Owner, Scott, took time in telling us a bit of the history while we enjoyed a couple drinks at the bar. A few minutes later, our friends joined us, and we were seated at our table. Our seasoned server, Mary Lou, answered any questions we had and gave us fabulous recommendations. She made sure she paid attention to us, but did not rush us in any step of the process. Our entrées included two orders of lasagna (made from a 60-year-old family recipe), an order of eggplant Parmesan, and an order of clam linguine with white sauce. All of us also ordered a side salad. Salad came out promptly and delicious! Followed by our entrées, beautiful, and looking so ready to be eaten. Every bite was fabulous, and the warmth of the environment made this meal truly seem like sitting around someone's family table at home. With hardly any room left, all four of us ordered dessert to go. This was a first for us, first time in the restaurant, first time in little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio! This may have not been the case and there were allot of take out orders before ours. After seeing all of the outstanding reviews and praise online, I was really looking forward to…read morefinally trying this restaurant. Unfortunately, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed. Perhaps my expectations were simply too high, but the overall experience didn't quite live up to the hype for me. One of the restaurant's biggest advantages is its location. Although it's situated in a quieter part of Little Italy, there's plenty of street parking, and the restaurant also has its own parking lot--a huge plus in the neighborhood. Upon entering, you're greeted with the ambiance of an upscale Italian restaurant. The dining room is elegant and inviting, and our server, *Maci*, was friendly, attentive, and provided excellent service throughout the evening. The meal began with a complimentary basket of baguette-style bread served with olive oil and balsamic vinegar--a nice start but the bread itself was averate For appetizers, my wife and I shared the Baby Arugula Salad, which was average, and the Eggplant Parmesan, which was probably the standout dish of the evening. Our daughter ordered the Caprese Salad, which she enjoyed overall, although we all felt it was a bit too salty. For our entrées, my wife and I shared the Halibut. While it was prepared well, we both agreed it had a stronger "fishy" flavor than we expected. The accompanying baby potatoes, however, were excellent. Our daughter ordered the Ricotta and Black Truffle Stuffed Pasta. She enjoyed it, but found it to be richer and heavier than anticipated--she was expecting a lighter pasta dish. Dessert, unfortunately, was the biggest disappointment of the evening. We decided to try what appeared to be the restaurant's three signature desserts: Tiramisu - As soon as it arrived, our daughter commented that it looked unusually light in color, and she was right. It tasted much more like vanilla than coffee, lacking the bold espresso flavor we typically expect from a tiramisu. Cappuccino Chocolate Mousse - This was overwhelmingly sweet. I could only manage a couple of bites before it became too much. Hazelnut Bomb (the daily dessert special) - Despite its name, we couldn't detect much hazelnut flavor at all. It tasted more like a rich chocolate dessert than anything distinctly hazelnut. Before ordering, we asked if the kitchen could prepare smaller tasting portions so the three of us could sample all three desserts without wasting food. The request was declined. I completely understand why the restaurant may not accommodate special requests like that, but I do wish they offered a dessert tasting option. As it turned out, we ended up leaving more than half of each dessert untouched. Given its location in the heart of Little Italy, I can certainly understand why this restaurant has earned such a strong reputation. The atmosphere, service, and presentation are all very good. However, for us, the food simply didn't match the expectations created by its stellar reviews. Overall, it was a pleasant evening, but not one that would make us eager to return when there are so many outstanding Italian restaurants in the area.

Elaine was perfectly attentive, the in between service for plate presentation and clearance was also very personable and highly professional. One of the few places I would say the prices are absolutely totally worth the amazing experience and food!
