We ordered via Uber Eats, so I can't comment on the service or the ambiance. I can assure you the Hawaiian pizza was delicious! We ended up eating only half of it that night and had plenty of leftovers. We also got cheesy garlic bread, because why not? The marinara sauce we dipped the bread in was delicious and I wished we had ordered extra!

When I hear the question, "Where should we go to dinner?", out pops the immediate answer: "Pizzazz!!". Even when it's sub-zero temps, the casual, inviting restaurant serves up all the warmth necessary. Shannon was our friendly server who brought the eggplant parmigiana dinner with no wait. Delicious!! Pizzazz remains a popular eatery in Cleveland Heights, delighting customers since 1975. The substantial menu presents Italian fare and a variety of salads. Takeout does a hefty business, as does dine-in. You know I'll be back soon!

This pizza dough was definitely not fresh. Tasted like cardboard.

The frying oil was probably old, too. Zucchini fries tasted bitter, it was also cold. We had only one waitress who took care of the whole one side of the restaurant, who also bartended. Oddly enough, there were a bunch of waiters and waitresses in the back running around, the restaurant definitely feels very disorganized. I want to support local businesses but serving cold food is just a no no. The owner of this place has to do better!

Incredible flavors from start to finish! The appetizers set the tone with fresh and tasty bites. The chimichurri steak and garlic shrimp were the highlights of the evening. The pizza was also cooked perfectly and full of flavor. We ended with a sweet dessert that tied everything together. I can't wait to come back!

Pizzazz is a cozy little spot just off the campus of JCU that doesn't feel so little. The staples are pizza and pasta, and with a nice bar and sports on the monitors, I could see this as a nice hangout for groups or families on game day. The service was a little slow based on staffing, but the person who helped us was capable and nice. I'll look forward to returning with friends.

We ordered to uber eats. Our Food is alway delicious . It arrived fast and they secure the food very well with tamper proof seal.

Calamari without any sauce as advertised??
    Amy J.

Calamari was hot. They forgot sauces it was supposed to come with and silverware but quickly gave these to me when I returned for them. It was wonderfully crunchy on the outside and not too hard or stale. Good calamari and total was about $14.

I love Pizzazz - it is my go to place for a salad. Absolutely cannot be beat. But today, this is my view. Waiting, waiting, waiting. Ordered a pick up salad at 6 on a Friday, was told 35 minutes. It is now 75 minutes and I was just told they are making my salad next. You've been forewarned. Bring a book.

Nice location. Service is ok but not very attentive. Sadly the pizza is too sweet. Too much sugar in the dough. Too bad.

Their menu is simple in the best way -- thoughtfully curated with options that are classic, comforting, and done really well. You truly can't go wrong with anything you order. Service was great, everyone was very pleasant. We were on the heated patioish extension and it was very cute. We ordered the Fritti Misto and the whipped ricotta bread as a starter. There was more vegetables than seafood but it was still good. The bread was okay, needed salt. Our mains we got the short rib pasta ( gluten free ) and crispy chicken limone, both something my husband and I don't normally get when we go to Italian restaurants. I feel that the short rib pasta might be better with a red sauce as it was slightly bland. My entree though was delicious. I am so glad I tried something different. We also had the tiramisu for dessert. Over all good time, thank you so much for a great experience.

We were waiting on a few other members of our party and invited to relax at the bar with fabulous service and excellent excellent treatment. The warm environment of this family restaurant was like getting a warm hug on getting a cool rainy day. (It was!) Owner, Scott, took time in telling us a bit of the history while we enjoyed a couple drinks at the bar. A few minutes later, our friends joined us, and we were seated at our table. Our seasoned server, Mary Lou, answered any questions we had and gave us fabulous recommendations. She made sure she paid attention to us, but did not rush us in any step of the process. Our entrées included two orders of lasagna (made from a 60-year-old family recipe), an order of eggplant Parmesan, and an order of clam linguine with white sauce. All of us also ordered a side salad. Salad came out promptly and delicious! Followed by our entrées, beautiful, and looking so ready to be eaten. Every bite was fabulous, and the warmth of the environment made this meal truly seem like sitting around someone's family table at home. With hardly any room left, all four of us ordered dessert to go. This was a first for us, first time in the restaurant, first time in little Italy in Cleveland, Ohio! And finally, our first time to ever say this will not be our last time because we will be back, and will bring more friends!!

Last month we visited Cleveland for very first time and decided to visit Cleveland's Little Italy…read more Guarino's restaurant was the absolute worst Italian restaurant our family has ever visited and I know because I'm Italian! This restaurant was a dark and dingy with one toilet and a tiny sink as the only bathroom for the entire restaurant. The decor was dated with rickety furniture. The barely functioning light sconces were very dusty with cobwebs. My Nonna triped once and almost triped twice on the old worn carpeting that had several large holes. It was a safety hazard and should be taped down. The food was also well below average. There was no bread offered to our table of five. The appetiters and drinks cost as much as the entrees. Although we all ordered entrees, on the check/bill they charged us an extra $4.00 per person share fee (adding an additional $20.00 onto the bill) because we took a bite of each other's food. I guess they watched us while we ate and then decided to price-gouge, taking advantage of us as we tried to support their business. This was creepy and weird. Eating there was a terrible experience for us and a bad memory of our first visit to Cleveland. Guarino's restaurant wasn't crowded, at all, and in hindsight that should have been a big clue but we stayed. We regret eating there. Upon leaving we saw so many other lively and crowded restaurants that had much better energy.
