Once again, we had an outstanding meal at Pizazz! The gazpacho was spot on and the best I have ever . My special, watermelon salad with shrimp was outstanding as was my husband's short rib bolognese. They are a w9nderful restaurant- staff is amazing and knows their menu inside out. I can't say enough about this place- if you've never been, go! The staples are pizza and pasta, and with a nice bar and sports on the monitors, I could see this as a nice hangout for groups or families on game day. Based on past experiences where they text way earlier, we called to confirm timing. Someone told us to come in one hour. Ten minutes later, a "your food is ready" text came, but we didn't see it until 20 minutes later--then rushed there immediately. The "general manager," who has served us in the past with alcohol on her breath, was shockingly rude. No apology, just gaslighting: claiming the food must have just been finished and maybe an employee sent the text too early. We explained we called ahead specifically to avoid this issue and were met with attitude instead of empathy. Another staff member admitted the mistake, but still no resolution was offered. During my most recent visit to Cleveland for a family event of course we had Pizzazz. The parking lot makes it easy to come with family or stop by for take-out. Our family favorites to order to share are the pepperoni pizza, pepperoni calzone and their dinner salad. These are the go to items, but I've tried a lot of the menu at this point and they have so many options anyone can find something to love. If I'm enjoying something on my own I may get adventurous with the pizza toppings or go for their create your own pasta option. The Abruzzi sauce is really tasty and I love that they have so many pasta options, including gluten-free and zucchini noodles- personally I welcome the carbs though. My family has also used the downstairs space for events which is a nice option for catered events and it's a fun little space that even has a bar. Also, if you're a soup person, their Italian Wedding is very tasty too! read more

I have eaten at Pizzazz on the Circle at least 75 times over the last 22 years. Many great memories with wonderful friends and family. I always enjoyed the their food and ambiance. But I will NEVER go back to Pizzazz until they have 100% wait staff worthy of their restaurant. There is an older Caucasian dark haired middle aged female with glasses who has taken my order at the bar or outside table from my guests and I the last few times I have been at the restaurant. She is condescending, rude, dismissive and acts overworked. The first time we experienced her we thought it was some sarcastic "bad mommy" act. The second time not so funny. Today her annoying rushed and sour attitude was more than any reasonable person could take. We planned to eat during a slow off hour during the afternoon despite huge loud non-stop construction trucks outside by the patio with dust everywhere. Any restaurant would be pleased with customer attendance during such conditions. We ordered linguini, marinara, spinach and zucchini along with a portobello salad. We requested a small taste sample of Diablo sauce to have with the pasta. The waitress took the request for no up charge as an insult. She quickly brought back a teaspoon of cold sauce without a word and flounced away. As hungry as we were the lady was such a turn off while we were ordering we immediately told the other waitress to cancel our order so as to not inconvenience the restaurant and left. Listen, she had to be pretty bad for us to leave as hungry as we were. Afterwards we ate at another local establishment. The food was great, reasonably priced and the person who we interacted with was kind and fun. Life is short. Everyone knows food prices are soaring and there is a lot of competition in the restaurant food space. To some people this review may seem trivial. To others, it's not. Today, Pizzazz lost a long time customer who tipped well and was a positive word of the mouth free advertiser. Not to my surprise, it was very rubbery and dry but had no taste at all. The chicken parm was bland but we found a stem looking object in it and not sure where it came from. We live somewhat close to this restaurant and pass it on our way home from work M-F each week so we have dined here frequently. Being a pizza place by a college campus you would expect they have good pizza .. and they do. This past Friday my husband was in the mood for one of their calzones so we stopped on the way home. Hard time with this one. Everything was solidly average. High end of averages we got a pepperoni pizza and a veggie pizza. The pepperoni topping was the best part. The cheese and sauce were unremarkable. The veggie pizza had wet dough, mo doubt from the veggies releasing their water. But if you are going to have it on your menu - you have to know how to handle it. Dry grill the veggies a bit before putting them on the pizza and do not salt anything until it comes out of the oven. I would give them 3.5 if possible. Just some tweaks and and more italian seasoning would really help. Might just be a matter of taste. Try them. read more

Great family dinner at this location. Very welcoming and friendly staff, the waiter was great. Kids love the fresh bread. Fried provolone was a perfect appetizer. This Sunday I placed an order for a 12" LG Cholesterol Monster Pizza it comes with Pepperoni, Sausage, Salami, Ham, Meatballs & Provolone Cheese and I ordered 12 Buffalo Wings 6 of the Hot and 6 of the Hot BBQ ones. I was severely disappointed and disgusted in the response from our server. When I informed her of the hair in my food, she responded by stating she assumes I don't want a to go box. We've been coming here for years and it's always consistent with the food, the service and the great time wether your in the dining room or the lounge. The food is always perfect and the service we receive is always with a smile! Today we sat in the lounge and had 2 meatballs and a small pepperoni pizza, E had a soda and I had a water. The meatballs are always my favorite at Pizzazz on the circle because THEY ARE NOT those dense heavy meatballs you get at some places, the meatballs at Pizzazz on the circle are very moist and light and come with just the right amount of sauce on them! The small pepperoni was just enough for E and I, however once we each had our last slice we wish we had ordered the large because we each wanted another slice just because it was that good! The crust is just the way we like it and the sauce has a perfect flavor and you can tell they use the good cheese and pepperoni!
