This was OKAY, no huge complaints at all actually, just minor suggestions. I get it that maybe it's ambiance, but it was a tad too dark, lacking lighting to read the menus at times. The menu itself is short, small and maybe some could say limited. I'd recommend you preview the menu before committing to seating if you're either picky or crave something specific. We had the margharita cheese and basil pizza which was good. It's not destination dining for us, but we're a family with a child and maybe this is a bit more upscale chic for romantic couples on a date. We've been meaning to try Pizzeria Bianca forever. We finally got in and were super excited but honestly left disappointed. As everyone knows, there is a lot of hype around this place, but to us, it failed to deliver. Service was friendly and helpful. Gave a great wine recommendation. We started with the handmade mozzarella with a seasonal preparation. It was basically like a caprese. I was very fresh and light. Each ingredient complimented the next. We also had the table bread, which I wasn't particularly fond of. Too hard for me. My boyfriend ordered the pizza and I got the pasta. The pappardelle pasta was good, thin, wide noodle that was Al dente, and the meat sauce was delicious. Where we lose points is the pizza. This place is KNOWN for their pizza, so we had to try one. They have a small selection so I expected each one to be amazing. The Sonnyboy is a red sauce base and we added mushrooms. Unfortunately, when we got the pizza, it was flaccid. Nobody likes a floppy/flaccid pizza. We talked to the server AND the manager and they explained that indeed, the pizza are meant to be THAT thin. I mean, there was 0 integrity to the slice. The toppings slipped off and the dough collapsed. I guess that's pretty standard for Italian-style pizza though. From what I've heard they are like that in Italy too. Needless to say we expected a little more. The crust was amazing. The toppings, again, fresh. They're a little skimpy on the sauce but I guess for good reason. I think we were expecting more New York-style integrity, where when you fold it, it stays. The flavors were subtle. Nothing exceptional, just fresh. We also tried the tres leches. I'm not one for tres leches, so I'll keep my bias to myself. All in all, we spent 109$ before tips, including 2 drinks, 1 app, 2 entrees, and 1 dessert. I haven't been to Pizzeria Bianco in years, and first time to this location. It's much larger than I expected inside, and very rustic-ly charming! We were seated quickly and greeted. We ordered the fresh mozzarella appetizer to start, which had roasted red peppers instead of tomatoes. The server explained they do this when tomatoes aren't great, and I appreciate that! I love a good tomato and hate a sad one. I was starving and indecisive, so decided to share a few things with a friend and picked items I wouldn't typically order. We had the pasta of the day which had a red sauce, chicken, mushrooms, and some other goodies. I'm not big on pasta but this was delicious! I know it's a pizza place, little surprised no salads on the menu and only 6 or so pizza options, all pretty basic. This place is touted as having the best pizza in the world. To me that is absolutely not true. (House of Pizza in Hackensack, NJ is my world's greatest!) the pizza was good but there was definitely not enough cheese. The menu is very limited also so you are stuck with the toppings they offer and can't add what you like. However the homemade crust and the wood fired oven do add a lot to make this pizza yummy. The hit for me was the olive oil! I have never in my life had such delicious olive oil which they get from their own olive press in Italy. I must not have ever had "real" olive oil before because this one blew me away. I had to buy a bottle to take home on an airplane. I will go back there many times just for the olive oil. The service was great but our server couldn't answer basic questions about the menu/ingredients. The ambiance is also great! Luckily we were seated at a corner table since the noise level was fairly high. First the service brought bread and olive oil to the table. We ordered two pizzas, The Sonny Boy and Wiseguy. Both were wood fired and very tasty. The one with huge onions and fennel sausage was my favorite. The other had Salami,mozzarella, tomatoes and gaeta olives. The place was good but I probably won't go back. My dad saw the Netflix show that said this was the best pizza so when he came to town he wanted to try it out. I never had a desire to eat here until he talked it up. The staff was friendly and the food was okay but it wasn't great. The pizza was so floppy and soggy which I'm not a fan of. They do have a good flavor to the crust but I just dislike how wet it was. The pasta was much better than the pizza and $10 cheaper too. Our pizza was $32 after adding onions ($2) and mushrooms ($4) for a personal size and the pasta was $22. Overall I think the pizza is way overpriced and below mediocre. During our visit in Phoenix, we wanted to try Pizzeria Bianco after we saw the first episode of Chef's Table: Pizza on Netflix. We went to their original downtown location but there was an event in the area, so we decided to drive to Camelback East for the same food but easier parking. There was a wait for our seats but there were plenty of shops in the area to kill time with. Once seated, we asked for the recommendations. The menu wasn't big but we still wanted to try what they were known for. We were suggested to try margherita, biancoverde, and wood fired spiedini. Everything was great, especially the spiedini, if you love prosciutto, this is a must try. Special mention to our server, Selina. Not only she made excellent recommendations, she also told us to drizzle spicy oil over biancoverde for a different take on flavors. She was right because biancoverde came alive with them spicy oil! We tried to use the oil on margherita but it did nothing. Thank you Selina, that was awesome. Overall experience was excellent. The food was delicious, service was friendly and attentive. We are glad they made it out in LA and we shall try it one day. read more

We have leftovers and they may not get eaten. Biancos skimps on mozzarella and that's just not something you do to pizza lovers. Simply too little to enjoy properly. The San Marzano tomatoes are very tasty, the crust good, not too thick or thin. Pasta bolognese, blah... not even close to what I expected. I'm a tough customer because my wife can cook. I've had bolognese in a Denver restaurant and NO ONE has come close. Anticos in downtown Atlanta is best pizza I've ever had. Better than pizza in Milan or anywhere else. Biancos isn't your local pizza and the options are limited by design but we were careful not to have expectations above reality. Arrived with a slight wait so we went next door where they have a small wine bar. Not an entire bar but decent items. This was the Lone Ranger and so good! Then the table was ready. On our recent visit to Phoenix, our group of 10 decided to visit Pizzeria Bianco on New Years Day after having watched Chef's table on Netflix. We formed a queue starting at 1pm for 2pm opening and were the first in line (which grew FAST!) Menus were passed out to the line so folks could decide while waiting. They opened promptly at 2pm and got everyone seated. Started off the meal with some complimentary bread (meh!) and olive oil. Also ordered a bottle of wine, a couple of negronis and old fashioned for the table. I was a little disappointed to find that they did not have any non alcoholic drink options for children except sodas Our server did warn us that pizzas took the longest to come out so we put in an order of a couple of fresh mozzarella for appetizers and moved on to the veggie lasagna (5 stars of absolute cheesy decadence) and chicken cacciatore (once again excellent!!) . And a side of anchovies...I appreciated how they checked if we wanted it brought out with the appetizers or the pizzas. For the pizzas we tried the sonny boy, wise guy, bianco verde and of course the rosa. They were spot on- a thin yet solid crust that held up all the toppings while still having that beautifully blistered flavor thanks to the wood fired oven. We had a child with severe nut allergies in our group and I appreciated how they made sure to use separate gloves and pizza cutters when we mentioned the allergy. Also they were so patient and checked in with the kitchen multiple times we asked them to double check if a dish was nut free. To wrap up the meal, we had a flourless chocolate cake - which was the only dessert option since they were sold out. I think this place is definitely worth the hype and would love to visit if I'm in the area. read more
