my favorite pizza place in Phoenix and I love that this guy is from New York like me. although it is a little pricey it's worth it. I usually sit at the bar and the bar staff is attentive and friendly and informative. I love the brick walls makes me feel like I'm at an Italian restaurant in NYC.

We came here for date night. I have been wanting to come here for so long and was so impressed with food and the service, they also have this cute bar next door where you can wait while your table is ready. We ordeeed olives and Marguerite's pizza with sausage. Prices are fair and the location is right by the science museum so many cute shops near by! 10/10 recommend

Market Pizza (Seasonal): Smoked Mozz, Peaches, Prosciutto, Basil, honey drizzle! Excellent.

Service was very fast - we came on a Monday night and they had a wait due to a local event, but the wait was shorter than estimated and the waitstaff served us promptly! Very cool ambiance in an old 1929 machine shop building. I love that you can see the wood fired oven and watch the food be prepared. All three pizzas were excellent! We were recommended to try this place from a friend and we are glad we did. We only travel through Phoenix to get to Tucson for visiting family, but this will become a spot we visit each time we come through. It's pretty close to the airport too, so if you're a traveler, definitely stop in. It was nice to have a quality meal after flying in. The price was also pretty good for the pizza sizes, these three pies fed two adults and two growing teenage girls.

Very solid pizza with a really nice crunch! Been wanting to try this place for a while so we stopped by about 30 minutes before close. It's a cute dimly lit spot with a rustic feel to it.

After 30 years of dreaming about this moment, I'm finally here at Pizzeria Bianco. Many of us remember the mid-1990s when reports were coming out of Phoenix that some new pizzeria might just serve the best pizza in the United States! What? So far from New York? How is this possible? And the reports kept coming. Bronx native Chris Bianco had done the impossible, expanding authentic pizzas beyond the Mississippi River. The accolades and awards were endless, the critics raved, and even documentaries were produced. So we all started putting this place on our bucket list. I finally made the pilgrimage in 2026 to this mecca, this icon, this uber-famous destination. And it was worth the hype! The most beautiful red sauce complements the perfectly stretchy fresh mozzarella. Since I opted for the Sonny Boy, I was treated to high quality slices of salami and whole olives. The crust is thin, charred in various spots, slightly crispy on the bottom but still properly chewy. It is a thing to behold, ranking right up there with the best pizzas I've had in Italy and the states! I wish the olives were halved and not whole so they wouldn't roll off my pizza. But I didn't care. I even violated my germaphobic code for the first time in decades and snatched an olive off the table, it was that good! Because of its location inside Heritage and Science Park, there is a mandatory $10 parking charge for valeting plus a recommended tip. There is no validating inside the restaurant. But the surprise surcharge was also worth it!

We finally got to try this gem and boy it didn't disappoint! Parking is a bit of a pain here but we were in early for lunch! Definitely get here early if you don't want to wait for a table. The service was great, we sat outside and it was a great spot and nice. Relaxing experience. We ordered the salad of the day and the homemade mozzarella. They were both incredible. The pizza was also amazing, the margherita pizza and the biancoverde pizza were perfectly cooked and great flavor. The pizzas are all very simple but they are delicious! We would love to come back!

Pizzeria Bianco is my all time favorite pizza place in Arizona! I have been here many times, and every single time I enjoy it immensely. I always get their Sunny Boy pizza and add mushrooms on top, and it is perfection. The location I usually go to is the one in downtown Phoenix, and it is always super busy on the weekends, so be prepared to wait a couple of hours. This time I went on a weekday though, and there was no wait, which was so nice! The service is always great. Everyone is super kind and attentive. The ambiance is so fun too. It has this little quaint vibe, plus there's outdoor seating which makes it a really fun experience. Fair warning though, outdoor seating can get super hot during Arizona summers. Overall, the food is amazing. It really tastes like authentic Italian pizza. I also highly recommend the antipasto, but it is only available in the afternoon, so if you go for lunch it will not be on the menu. They change it up all the time, and they even have a fresh garden in the back. It is definitely my favorite dish there!

Pizza spot by James beard award winning chef. Great food and walking distance from the convention center. My only recommendation is getting there early and being ready for a wait because they stay busy and don't take orders to go. These are all signs of a busy/good restaurant though!!

Margherita Pizza. The food is so good and picture perfect.

I realize this place doesn't probably need any reviews bc the reputation speaks for itself. It's located in heritage park which is a great place to walk around and take insta photos. The service is quick. Not a lotta tables. The menu is simple but o so GOOOD! My hubby and I got the local greens, the market pizza and the Marguerita. The market pizza was peach, prosciutto, hot honey and some other fresh yummy goodness. Everything is so fresh and honestly well priced. Loved the ambience and there's a cat that roams outside and likes to stare at your food.

Started with local organic greens salad. Was good, fresh but a bit salty and dry, came with olives which were good. Also shared 2 pizzas with my friend, the margarita and marinera. The marinera came with garlic and no cheese. That was good. We added mushrooms and olives. The ingredients for fresh but the pizzas were a bit bland flavor-wise. The dough and crust were delicious as waa the marinara sauce. No lemons or lime and wouldn't allow separate checks. Didn't love that Apprec the side of bread that came upon seating.

Very good pizza, but pricey because of all the hype. I was told I HAD to come here while in Phoenix, and while I enjoyed the pizza, I don't think you're committing any sort of crime if you skip this stop. I had a Margherita pizza for $22, which came out to almost $30 after tax and tip. Personally, I think that's a little crazy for a small, 1 person pizza! This was the best wood fired pizza I've had, but not by miles, and I wouldn't pay that much to have it a second time. There's often also a long wait here - I avoided it by going early and alone, and watched many people get turned away while I ate. Overall, I'm glad I tried this place and give it 5 stars for an excellent meal. However, I still think it's overhyped and wouldn't say it's a phoenix essential.

We first discovered this pizzeria on Chef's Table on Netflix, and when we planned a road trip to New Mexico, we decided to make a stop in Arizona just to try it. It was absolutely worth it. We were truly impressed, and we especially loved the Rosa pizza it was incredible. In fact, we loved it so much that we now make our own version at home all the time! The wait was about two hours, but we completely understood because the place was very busy and they don't take reservations. The atmosphere, the quality of the food, and the experience made it all worthwhile. We're big fans of Chef Bianco and are so glad we made the trip. Highly recommend to anyone who loves amazing pizza! We plan on coming back!

Make a reservation. Without question. We went to the bar next door. Killer Negroni(always in honor of Saint Anthony Bourdain). There's a handful of tables inside with a few outside. Inside atmosphere, upscale pizza place. Staff was attentive throughout the night. All of the food hits. Maybe I'm sucked in to the lore, but I don't care. All of the food brought flavor worth the hype. This is the kind of spot you want to bring your out of town guests to. Experience it, I know I will again. Best result for me was an air fryer for the leftover pizza.

    Gluten free options?

Salads. And appetizers. But they don't have a gluten free pizza dough.

Nearest airport please? coming to fly in from Hollywood airport, Burbank CA. how far is it to your restaurant from the airport? thanks. 😊

PHX...I think you might be looking for the entry for their LA location, though?

Will pizzeria bianco be open on Memorial Day (5/27)?

    Pretty sure yes!

    Do you take reservations?

    No, first come, first served.

If someone goes just by themselves, will it be quicker/easier to get in?

If you're talking about the original location, we went on a weekday for lunch (Monday afternoon) and there was no wait time.

    Do they take reservations?

No they do not. Not with the wait either. But if you do decide to go I would arrive there before they open.

Is the red sauce on the pizzas vegetarian-safe? Some places cook their sauce with bone marrow from cows or pigs, does Pizzeria Bianco do this?

They use Bianco Dinapoli tomatoes. They may have some trade secrets they keep in house but from what I’ve seen it should be safe. They do have vegetarian options. If this helps. Have you watched the Netflix special? I feel like it shows the entire…

What's a good phone number to order carry out or get a reservation?

They do not take out orders, dine in only. If you Google them, it will lead you to a link to make a reservation online. We did a walk-in and waited two hours on a Thursday at 2pm. Always expect at least a two - four hour wait. There is a cool museum…

Can you have small dogs on the patio outside?

I wouldn't see why but do know there is a large population of cats on and near the building.

    Do they have parking space?

I didn't see a lot anywhere but there was affordable valet service right at the entrance.

When do winter/fall hours begin? Driving through Monday 11/21. Will they be open?

    Yes, 11AM-9PM

Does this establishment offer Gluten Free? I'd love to try but I'm GF :(

No, they do not have any GF options for their pizza crust unfortunately. We were just there and I have celiacs.

Is there a long wait at lunchtime on weekdays? Planning to drive through Phoenix on the way to Flagstaff on a Monday afternoon and was hoping to try this place but I have young kids and can't wait in line for 2 hours.

We had a short wait, but that was because they had to get tables together for our party of 9 for lunch. Should have no problem getting a table quickly during the week for lunch.

    How do I make reservations?

Downtown, you need to call about a week in advance. In fact, for less than five, they may not take reservations. I called a day in advance and was told that they need a week. There are other locations where the pizza is just as good. They may not be…

Is the wait still pretty crazy? I'm flying into Phoenix this Friday (Feb. 7). I'm going to have to eat really early (about 5:00), and I won't have much time for dinner. It's just me, so I can sit and eat at the bar if that's available.

I have been here several times early and have not had any wait. It just depends on what activities may be going on downtown at the time.

    Do they offer carryout?

Not anymore. You need to dine in to be able to carry out. They won't allow you to order again so if you want to do carryout after eating in make sure to order all the pizzas at the same time.

Do they have a bar or serve drinks/beer here?

    Yes to both.

    Do they have pepperoni?

Yes but with some many different toppings Leave the pepperoni to another day....Try the combos they have here

    Do they offer take out?

I know they don’t offer take out at the Adam Street loction, not sure about their other locations.

How big is a pizza ? here?

It's an 8 slice pizza, but more importantly and seriously; order one per individual, it's not often you get to truly enjoy one of the best, well prepared and delicate tasting pizza's which Bianco creates!
