I dined here back in January, and enjoyed my experience. I came with a group of five and we sat outside on the covered patio. It was nice but tables were very close together. It shouldn't be an issue but we sat next to a family with a toddler who kept reaching over and touching my chair and back, which was bothersome. It was like dining In NYC. The food was very good, although portions are very small. We got a few things for the table to share. I definitely recommend the sausage fennel pizza. The Fungi Misti pizza is delicious if you're a mushroom fan! Pasta alla vodka was a bit basic- I probably wouldn't order this again. For dessert they have a rotating selection of gelato pie and they happen to have a lemon one during our visit. It was delicious! Definitely try this for dessert. The chef got her start baking bread, so anything bread-based is also a good choice. This is a small restaurant best for intimate groups or date night. Definitely not suitable for a crowd. They serve a few unique Italian wines by the glass and you can order bottles as well. Beer selection is limited to a few Italian beers. Menu items are well marked for those that are gluten-free, vegetarian, or vegan. Overall good choice for high-end pizza. read more

We had the best time here! Parking was super difficult so most people in our party valet our cars. We ended up sitting in a secluded room to the side. It was a little hot in there but so nice. We had a preset menu of all of the things we were getting and we got so many things. From salads to pizza to steak it was all incredibly delicious. We were all stuffed by the time they brought out dessert. We all loved the gelato/sorbet they were passion fruit/ guava flavored and mango/pineapple. Osteria Mozza is one of my favorite restaurants of all time so I needed to come here to try some pizzas. The unique pizza flavor offerings and excellent texture of the pizza crust here are what make this spot special. My favorite pizza here was the fennel sausage with its fragrant flavor and accompanying tasty meatiness of the sausage. My 2nd favorite was the margherita which had a really excellent and clean tomato flavor. I loved the excellently crispy crust on all their pizzas. Delicious dinner here with my boyfriend on 11/14/25! We were sat in the side room surrounded by wood and wine and immediately loved the cozy ambiance and vibe. The food was amazing. The pizza was so fresh and definitely one of the best I've had so far. The crust was the perfect balance of crunchy and soft and the marinara sauce tasted amazing. My husband and I had a great time at Pizzeria Mozza! We are huge foodies, so it was very exciting for us to dine at Nancy Silverton's restaurant! The service was fantastic! We sat infront of the kitchen and it was so fun to watch the team work like a well oiled machine to turn out delicious food! The pizza and salad was fantastic. We also got the gnocchi to share. Our service was so attentive and knowledgeable! Everyone was friendly and the food arrived quickly. We ordered pane (delicious grilled bread with olive oil, garlic and sea salt), burrata with tomatoes and just the right amount of pesto to go with the salty/garlicky bread! The service is professional, knowledgeable and high-quality but without feeling stuffy or overly high-brow. The food is AMAZING. What's even more AMAZING is the price -- appetizers, salads and pizzas are priced about half of what I was expecting, given the pedigree of this place. We had the chicken liver bruschetta and prosciutto with buffalo mozzarella to start, then moved onto the meat lovers pizza and fennel sausage pizza, finishing with the seasonal rhubarb strawberry tart, the meyer lemon pie, and the restaurant's signature award-winning mousse. The striped sea bass is not worth it. It's $32 for this tiny dish (see my attached pictures). At first, I thought it was a joke. It's ridiculous to pay that much and still be hungry after. The pizza and bread is good tho. I just don't think it makes sense to pay the same price for one of their pizzas when the pizza is more filling, around the same price of $32, and tastes better. I had reservations at Pizzeria Mozza for an early New Year's Eve dinner with my wife in the outdoor back patio. My first impression was that I liked the venue very much. It rained a little but the patio was covered, heated, and quite pleasant - even while it rained outside. I will break my review into two parts. Food and service - Food was great and service was very amateurish. Food: Loved it loved it loved it, the signature Nancy's Chopped Salad was delicious, the Calamari Fritti delicious, and the Napoletana was simply amazing. Service: Amateur. This is where I have to give a 2 out of 5. Perhaps, due to it being New Years Eve, the wait staff was inexperienced at best. Waiter was inattentive at times, hard to get anyone's attention, and overly talkative at checkout time. My real issue with the staff was they managed to loose one of my dishes I was to take home. And not only that, the waiter forgot to bring my leftover pizza and the "lost" salad to me as I payed the bill. He was on to another table and had already forgotten my food. read more

Trying to make a reservation for Osteria Mozza and they were booked solid, but Open Table said would you like to go to Pizzeria Mozza instead? Truth be told, I hadn't been there since they opened in 2006 so was super excited to try again and see how it held up. I coincidentally just got an email with the "Top Pizza places in LA" and surprised to not see this on the list (I'll keep who's list it was to myself). Parking is valet in the alley just past the restaurant on Highland so pretty easy and in we went. Super friendly host asked if ok to sit at the bar and of course yes, it's our favorite spot. Spent some time talking to the great people behind the bar who told us that it's not unheard of that they can make over 200 pizzas in a day and have hit 300. A waitress walked by and noticed my brewery shirt, so we started talking beer and 2 minutes later we were trying something new and "local" that she recommended (from Tarantula Hill and really good). The meatballs were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of red sauce - and of course some bread for dunking. I'm usually not a big fan of squash blossoms but there were fantastic. We lastly shared what we were there for, their Michelin star pizza, this time was the Fennel Sausage which was easily the best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Loved our countertop dinner here on a Wednesday night. For pizzas, we got the squash blossom buratta and the mushroom. Both were good, i thought the buratta was exceptional, just a dynamite combination! I will have to come back to try the classic margarita and other items on the menu. Other than that, we got the calamari and apple crisp. Both were excellent! If you get seated at the countertop by the pizza makers, it is very fun to watch. Service was a bit slow, and it felt like we were being overlooked, possibly because we were younger and didn't look like their typical high-spending crowd--never a great feeling. 1 Star -- The Hunger Games: Pizzeria Mozza Edition If you're looking for a place where you can arrive hungry and leave even hungrier, congratulations -- I've found the perfect spot. We walked into Pizzeria Mozza and were pleasantly surprised to find it... empty. Little did we know that the emptiness wasn't a good sign -- it was a warning. We ordered pizzas, a salad, an appetizer, some drinks... you know, food. And then we waited. And waited. And waited. At some point I think I aged a little. People who arrived after us were getting their pizzas like they ordered them from Amazon Prime. Meanwhile, we just sat there like background characters in our own meal. We politely reminded the waiter several times that our pizzas had apparently entered witness protection. Still nothing. After an hour of "dining" (if you can call drinking a cocktail and staring at an empty table dining), we gave up and left -- pizza-less, disappointed, and still hungry. And yes... we were still charged for the salad, appetizer, and drinks. Iconic. Michelin should honestly take their recognition back and give it to someone who can actually deliver a pizza before the next ice age. It seems a little ridiculous for me to post a review because what could say it better than a James Beard Lifetime Achievement Award? But that being said, her restaurants are not run by her alone. That's where this review comes in. For me, a dining experience is about food and service. The service we received was top notch. The staff was attentive, informative, and even a little humorous at times. A special shout out to Sydney & Delphina who were the main ones attending to our group. As far as the food goes, we came specifically to try the gluten free pizza. It was the BEST GF pizza I've had (Funghi Misti). It was unlike the typical chewy/stick to your teeth texture often found in GF pizza doughs. The crust was just the right thickness and the texture was perfectly crunchy. I also appreciated the generous amount and variety of mushrooms on the pizza. I'm not a local so it unfortunately, it won't be a regular spot for me but it will be a destination when I am in the Los Angeles area. read more

Food was great, service was super disappointing! We sat in the outside patio area and our table was wobbly. Our server, Christopher, paid us no mind. Honestly, ignored us entirely after taking our initial order. I understand restaurants can be busy, but we saw him stop by his other tables chatting it up multiple times. Came here for a date night with my husband because this is one of our favorite restaurants. They didn't have the bone marrow which we love but everything else was really good. We tried their squash blossom fritti for the first time and it was really good! We also ordered our usual favorites, Mozza Caprese, Pizza Alla Benno, Burrata Pizza and their 16 oz. Delmonico Steak! 2025.03.06 630 reservations party of 2 To be fair, I did get here ridiculously early (5:15 on purpose) and found the perfect street curb parking right next door. Once evening rush starts good luck and apparently multiple people think it's fine to honk angrily at any cars waiting to turn in the back alley for valet. Just go around? It was cold and rainy, but I waited on the bench outside under the lovely Floral blossom trees since I was really really early. I went inside half an hour ahead and was greeted warmly by the hostess and welcomed to sit at the bar to wait. There is a small selection of beer, a good range of wine. I ordered the Rosa Spritz which I greatly enjoyed. Note: They do have open seating at the bar if you don't have a reservation. I want to commend the staff for being professional, gracious and hospitable. At no point was I made to feel like I was taking up space . The lighting is moody and there is background music. The tables are snug. My friend and I squeezed into a two top in the corner, but I didn't mind. If you like more space, perhaps they would seat you at a larger table. A big party packed in right next to us and some of them were talking loudly over the music, but I was still able to lock in, enjoy the service, catching up with my friend, and enjoy the food. We ordered the meatballs, very good; the burratina, delicious; and the Japanese sweet potato, which I thought might be something I could make at home, but I chose it for the prosciutto and it was so good I'd order it again; the meat lovers pizza, not a ton of toppings if that's what you prefer, but still enjoyable. These are thin crust pizzas so they are not built to support the weight of a standard meatlover that you could get elsewhere. We were definitely satisfied with the food, but since it was a special occasion, we opted to try some dessert. We had the butterscotch budino which was delicious and layered with a creamy finish and the perfect hit of sea salt. Get the mozza caprese with pane bianco! It's amazing how such simple, quality ingredients can make the most delicious dishes. We were talking about this for days! We also got the squash blossom fritti and the burrata pizza with squash blossoms, which we thought were both unique and tasty too. I made rezzies on OpenTable, and was offered the wine bar (by the door) or the pizza bar at check in. We chose the pizza bar so we could get a front row seats by the wood fired oven. Unfortunately, the host sat us smack in between two other couples and it was super crowded to the point I actually felt claustrophobic. Sadly, there were three empty seats at the end of the bar that went unoccupied the entire duration of our meal. Would have been much nicer if we were spaced out a bit more. Stopped by here with a few friends last night. Been to Osteria Mozzarella twice so decided it was time to try this side or. Beth's a pizza lover, I was very excited, and expectations can tend to run high. We were seated right away and our glasses were always kept full with water, which was nice. We started off with the meatballs and bone marrow. The meatballs were cooked perfectly and had good flavor. The sauce the meatballs were in was the real star though. The bone marrow, which is usually a hit, fell flat here. For whatever reason, it just didn't have great flavor. The roasted garlic spread over the crustini was better than the marrow spread over it. So that was disappointing Next can't the Rotolo which is presented nicely. Almost looks like a mushroom with a crispy shell that you cut open. Inside you have ricotta mixed with Swiss Chard and frico. Though it has different textures which always work nicely, it really didn't stand out in any way nor was it memorable Last can't the pizzas, and we ordered three to split amongst six people. The Bianca, I might say, was the best, in my opinion, this evening. Crust felt sturdier than the other two, cheese didn't over power and the sage was nice as well. The meat lovers had a crust that liked over and everything fell off when you picked it up. It has good flavor but you can get a better slice elsewhere. Finally is the croque madame, which I was very excited for. It definitely passed the eyeball test yet items like the bechamel and caramelized onions felt lost when you ate out. So that, too, was a disappointment. Overall, maybe my expectations were high but it definitely didn't live up to what I thought I was going to experience. My favorite is the Mista which is simple with a delectable, acidic dressing. I also like the Tri Colore salad.
