I treated my mom with Pizzeria Piccola in the lovely Village of Tosa and we were not disappointed. The second floor is very intimate and has a self-service station that I actually liked. I just think they should make a point of letting you know beforehand because, otherwise, seeing a server can take a long time! We had a good lunch, being the salad the highlight of the meal for me and the pasta for my mom. This is a laid back Bartolotta's restaurant, and they honor your rewards. And that is always appreciated.

Good pizza, good service, but a very casual space. You order at the counter when you walk in (frozen pizzas available to-go and also fresh pizzas available for pick-up), grab your number for them to bring you your food, and sit wherever you like. They have wine available (we bought a bottle) or self-serve soft drinks. The dining area upstairs is 1 open room with plenty of seating but the music wasn't quite loud enough to cover up the conversations from anyone else in the room. But what you really want to know - the pizza! I like the concept of personal pizzas so that everyone can get whatever toppings they want. I ordered the Four Seasons which has provolone, prosciutto, mushrooms, black olives, and artichoke. I love thin crust (all of their pizzas) - most of it was crispy and wonderful, but the middle of the pizza got a bit soggy from the toppings. Overall great flavors and I would order this one again. My boyfriend got the Spicy Pepperoni which was also tasty, but we added a bunch of red pepper flakes to really spice it up. I would definitely recommend ordering 1 per person instead of sharing. We were both really hungry, but easily able to finish our personal pizzas.

Overview - Hip, cool, delicious pizza in a venue that traditionally wouldn't work, but feels right. Food 5/5 Customer Service 5/5 Another fine Bartolotta restaurant in a cool part of the Tosa Village. The pizza is about 10" round, not to thin but also not thick. It's so good! Some of my friends call it their favorite pizza in the Milwaukee area! I have enjoyed the SAUSAGE and PEPPERONI pizzas and loved them! Sauce, crust, and seasonings are all on point. The location is split into two venues - indoor seating and a separate outdoor seating a few buildings down. Both are somewhat of a hodgepodge, but they really have made it work, impressively really. The customer service has always been really nice! Friendly, helpful, always make you feel like a valued guest. The Bartolotta Rewards Program is something to jump on! Easy sign up and well worth making the most of.

Pizzeria Piccola is one of the many great Bartolotta restaurants in the Milwaukee area. This one is located down the street from Ristorante Bartolotta in Wauwatosa. The purpose of this restaurant is to serve authentic Neapolitan pizzas. One key component to accomplishing that is the use of a very hot wood-burning oven. The crusts come out slightly crisp and chewy. The sauce, cheese and other toppings are added sparingly to provide additional flavors without overwhelming you with toppings. I've visited a few times over the years but on my recent visit I ordered the Piccola, which is topped with tomato sauce, provolone cheese, crumbled Italian sausage, onions, fresh mushrooms and black olives. Being the carnivore that I am, I would always prefer more sausage, but the pizza provided a nice balance of toppings, so no one topping over-powered the others. I'm finding more pizzerias around town trying to incorporate the Neapolitan style of making pizzas, which is encouraging. For dessert, you'll find gelato, Tiramisu, and a flourless chocolate cake with raspberry sauce. The menu here is simple. The atmosphere is casual. A nice change of pace from the usual fine-dining experience at the Bartolotta restaurants but the quality is still present.

This place serves up a good pizza, but nothing I would consider unique or a must. However, if you're in the area and craving pizza it's a good option. I actually preferred the pasta moreso than the pizza.

Good pizza. Reasonably priced. Good deals. Flavorful crust. All in all good experience whether you're going for pickup or eating in. They've got a bar with some beer on top. A few non-pizza items that are pretty good. Still, a single pizza makes for a good single person meal. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Would recommend.

Our big group needed a late lunch in the Tosa area so we selected PP since it has outside seating and is reasonably priced. The Pepperoni pizza was nicely spicy but the crust was a bit hard and dry - this was the common complaint on all of the pizzas we ordered. We like thin crust but these needed more moisture or at least some oil on the table to fix this issue. The garlic bread knots were more successful as was the Capri salad. The staff was friendly and helpful. And the outdoor space is very nice.

The self-serve station, as with much of the rest of the dining room, needed attention.

We ordered Four Seasons and Marguerita pizzas, along with an order of flatbread. We may have ordered a bottle of wine, but after being told "our wines are over there," no prices, just "somewhere between $19 and $35," we went with beer. The pizza was decent. Thin crust, nice selection of toppings, sauce was uninspiring, but adequate. The Marguerita should be made with amazing ingredients, since there are only 3 of them. It was, again, adequate. The Four Seasons was well liked. We made the mistake of dining in. After our challenging ordering experience, we climbed the stairs to ... a cafeteria. Really no other way to describe it. I don't mind the stairs, or the Self-Serve Station stocked with napkins, plates, soda, and to-go containers, but expected to find a more homey atmosphere. Not here. TLDR: food is decent, get it to go.

I would probably give this place 3 1/2 stars. I always enjoy a wood fired pizza, they just tend to be a little pricier than I like to pay for a personal-sized pizza. I appreciated that Piccola has interesting flavors with fresh ingredients. We started off with garlic knots which were decent but nothing particularly memorable. Our pizzas were enjoyable. I preferred my husband's rustic pizza over my four seasons, mostly because I didn't like the olives they used. They were more Mediterranean flavored, not standard black olives like I'm used to on pizzas. The vegetable pizza looked really fresh, I would love to try that one sometime. They had live music playing which was fun! Outdoor seating is always a delight when it's warm enough. Had tiramisu and gelato for dessert, both were pretty standard.

Great lunch special - pizza and a side salad for just over $7! Delicious pizza at a reasonable lunch price. I also like the punch card/loyalty perks. I've been here twice and I will be back again :)

Very unique pizza. I had the chicken sausage pizza and was surprised how good celery was on a slice.

The event was supposed to have two food trucks, but due to the weather, it was only Flour Girl and Flame. Though the line was long, it moved quickly and the workers were super sweet and friendly! They were killing it! I got the Pep in Yer Step pizza and the hot honey was so good! I'm already planning to go to another one of their events soon! They had a special pizza, which was red sauce, mozz, ramps (which is a type of onion), pepperoni and a garlic drizzle. This pizza was so delicious. We also opted to try the Smolwaukee pizza; this did NOT disappoint. The buffalo wings were amazing and I was really eyeing the bbq ones but opted for the buffalo. I'm not too down with this hot honey fad, so they were able to keep the hot honey off, which I appreciated. They had a Buffalo ranch that complimented the wings so well. This spot does stop serving food May 7th and transition to their food truck. The space is then used to rent out for events and such. I truly look forward to eating here again!
