My husband and I stopped by for a private event last Friday night- which was hosted in their private room. I will say- this room is PERFECT for a rehearsal dinner or a baby shower. Loved the space, super cute. Parking was a struggle. Plain and simple, lower greenville always sucks. They do offer a free valet, but my husband wanted to avoid that if possible. Street parking was very difficult but we were early enough in the evening that we did miraculously find a spot right on greenville in front of a club that was not open for the night yet. The restaurant was very busy around 7:30pm on a Friday night, as are most restaurants in the area. The smells were amazing though as soon as we walked in so we were excited to say the least. They had a house white and red for us that was pre-selected by the host of our event- and I will say the white was not great. But maybe it was just a cheap wine that was picked for the event? We were able to sample appetizers (the brushetta was VERY pretty), salads, pasta and pizza. And its sad to say we were super underwhelmed. It was not bad, but it was nothing I would rush out to go back to. The flavors were bland and forgettable. There are many other pizza places like this in Dallas I would go back to before this one (something like a fireside pies was better in our opinion). The prices were also pretty high. The house bread was interesting and we enjoyed it. The pesto pasta was interesting. And our favorite part was probably the white pizza. But again, we were underwhelmed and I cant say we would rush back between the pricing, flavors and parking. read more

Daughter wanted some pizza. So I got on yelp and these fellas were #1. So had to see it myself. Got a sausage pizza. What can I say... it was Delicious. Also had one of their drinks. Forgot what is was called but it had gin and basil. Again delicious. But not as strong as I would have liked. More ice than drink. So I come to Dallas often and decided to look up the pizza scene to see what my go to spot would be whenever I'm out here. As a NYer, pizza is in my blood. I will always look for and comment on the quality of a good pizza and this place had a lot of good reviews online based on my location. The restaurant itself was very nice so I hung at the bar for a glass of wine while I waited for a pie to take home to the family. While talking to the bartender, he told me that the brick ovens used in the restaurant were actually built and imported from Naples which is pretty impressive to be honest. I wasn't expecting to hear that. My pizza came through while I was having a glass of wine and I tried a slice of the Margherita pie I ordered before taking the rest to the family while it was fresh and I have to admit, I was impressed by the quality of their pizza. The sauce was delicious and a brick oven baked crust is always a win in my book. Can never go wrong with fresh mozzarella which you can tell in the freshness of the cheese if you are a pizza connoisseur. Brought it home to the fam and grandma in particular is a pizza head too so she gave them the thumbs up as well. The only issue I had was the size of their large pie which seemed to be 16" which was something I could of eaten by myself so I'll be getting two pies for the family next time. But to be fair, I'm just a spoiled NYer that is used to 18" pies so anything smaller than that will never be enough for me. We dined in for the first time since early March, and this experience could not have been better. Service was thoughtful and fantastic, I loved the electronic menus and the social distancing steps taken. The food was also fantastic, both of our pizzas were delicious. I don't think you can go wrong with any of their pizzas, because the dough and preparation was done very well. We finished with a Tiramisu, which was perfect for two people to share. I was here with a large party. They charged $22 a head for pizza with the promise of bringing these large pizzas for all of the tables and keeping them coming as needed. The pizza we were brought was all veggies, they gave us tiny slivers that had meat. I was able to have 2 slices and so was my partner. There were 8 of us at the table table so that was about average for everyone at the table. After finishing the pizza, I ordered a cocktail and more pizza for my table. I saw that 2/4 tables had received more pizza. The waiter assured me that more pizza was on the way out. Great! Well I watched all the tables not only eat their pizza but then the waiter brought all the other guests boxes to take their extra pizza home. When the waiter started bringing checks out, with included gratuity, I reminded him that he told us another pizza was on its way out for us and we never got it he let me know it was his mistake "my bad"; he said he was supposed to divide the pizza he had provided the other tables and didn't. He acknowledged we didn't get any more food and was sorry. I let him know that partner and I were paying $45 for 4 slices of pizza along with our table and asked if they could maybe look into that? He said he understood and would check. Came back 10 minutes later(this has been 30 minutes of figuring this is out now) and offered one personal size pizza for the entire 8 person table. I declined. They made a ton of money off of this is party and couldn't offer to try and make things right in a way other than 1 personal sized pizza for a group of 8 people. read more

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. I never go out for pizza, but I drove all the way from Frisco just to eat here and would do it again in a heart beat. Cute, casual ambiance for date night, girl's night, or for dinner with friends or family. There's indoor and patio seatings that will fit any size party. Service was great from the minute we walked in until we left the place (our waiter would actually jog to get stuff for us). The bruchetta and desserts were good. PIZZA is what I came here for. The fresh ingredients, the perfect dough/crust, and the piping hot pizza that is delivered straight to your table once it's out = the most delicious, mouth watering dinner. I inhaled my slice in 5 seconds because it was that good. My favorite red sauce is the margherita sbligata, topped off with fresh homemade pesto like you've never had before. This was a great Margherita pizza. I'm glad we didn't see the dessert menu until after pizza, because I may have just had Nutella Panuozzi as a main and a dessert. Nutella slathered inside pizza dough that was baked and then slit open. With fruit on top, so you can explain it to your endocrinologist. I'm obsessed!!!! For starters, this place is adorable. It's very modern and on the nicer side so you can dress up a little or just be casual. All of the staff was very friendly and they had a good range of drinks to choose from because they have a full bar. I personally got the Sangiovese (a sangria) and liked it! We got the Metro Superiore, a 3ft long pizza with 4 different kinds of pizza on it and the Pinole & Prosciutto salad. We split it between 4 people and still had some extra salad and pizza, it was huge. We made a reservation ahead of time for our group of 20, they were very accommodating and everything came out quickly considering we were such a big group! Clientele was among the older crowd and families with their college age kids. It's pretty big inside and no wait on a Friday night. The amount of pancetta was a bit disappointing, but the usual when I order cured meats out... The egg was pretty runny and plopped in the middle of the pizza which made the crust soggy. I would probably recommend opting out of the egg. There was a big old "burnt" spot on the pizza. It was alright. Got one of the appetizers - I think the rosette cotto ($10). It was very similar to breadsticks. Different than what I've had before though. Our server seemed a little all over the place and was late with bringing a drink over. Seemed like she had a lot of tables, but funny that I saw staff just standing around... Overall, I wouldn't come back. Not my pizza place of choice, but usually I don't eat pizza. read more

Where have you been all my life lover (of pizza)? After the debacle that was Flattery cafe, I splurged for ANOTHER meal and ordered pizza from Testa, somewhat trepidiously I admit. But luckily I was able to rid my tastebuds of the previous travesty of bites for delicious Neapolitan style pizza. The crust was flavored and clearly proofed at least overnight, and thin but still crisp. The sauce was tangy and highlighted the flavors of simple, but artisanal ingredients, basil, buffalo mozz, and salami. Even reheated in the microwave the next day -- the horror!! -- the leftovers held up. I was able to go from whoa is me-zah to yummy this is pizza.
