This pizza is the closest to an Italian pizza in Dallas I could find! The dough is just like the one my father makes, the crust is thin and the cheese is abundant and of high quality!! The Ortolana I ate was just like the one I would eat in Rome! I'm so glad I found this pizzeria so I can take a small slice of home with me even in Texas! The server was also super kind and cordial and took the time out of the busy day to take a picture of our whole group!! Amazing experience all around!

One of my favorite restaurants, and its a fight for top 3 pizza shops for me. Ones a chain, ones a nyc style pizza place and pizzeria testa. So they all get their own respective categories. They have a "meter long" pizza option with our four pizza choices which is cool and all for the aesthetics but I think the round boi's taste better. I HIGHLY HIGHLY suggest getting the Rodfather, it comes with Spianata which makes it spicy and good. The Marinara pasta was not bad. too fresh and light for our american palate. This is my 4th time and counting coming here.

Visited this place for a bday dinner on a Saturday night. Drinks Fragolino Press - yes Summer Peach Mule - no--too much ginger beer Espresso Martini- yes Food Metro Mista- Salsiccia & Funghi, Quattro Formaggi, Pesto, and Bianca- the slices were bigger than expected. I enjoyed the Salsiccia & Funghi the most. Fusilli Pesto- not much flavor Rigatoni Bolognese- very good The salads- just ok. The customer was a 10/10

Delicious food with a great atmosphere. The pizza was thin crusted and cooked perfectly to be crispy and a little chewy. The Arancini was good and the filling was the right balance of creaminess. The kale salad was flavorful with the Gorgonzola, bacon, and lemon vinaigrette giving it a nice salty balance with the kale. The mushrooms and sausage with the tomato sauce was a great combo. Overall a nice evening out. I'd recommend snagging a table on the patio if the weather is nice. And definitely get reservations for the weekend.

I immediately ordered with my eyes because of photos of perfect leopard charred spots on the crust. Their margherita is great, but it spills its guts with each bite. Although the dough is chewy and each ingredient is high quality, instead of binding on the crust together, the sauce and the cheese just slide off and the pie is really soggy. Quite a mixed feeling after my first bite. I'll allow fork and knife for this one.

My love for pizza really exploded when I came here. Interior is nice and the staff is friendly. They have electronic menus to minimize contact. Our pizzas were crispy, chewy, and tasty in all the right places. We also got the arugula salad with it. I think alone it was a bit peppery but when you eat it with the pizza, it's the best combination.

We started with the focaccia bread (5/5). Wow--this might be some of the best bread I've ever had. Perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and the dip was delicious. I usually try not to fill up on bread before the entrées arrive, but we made sure to finish every bite. We also ordered the burrata salad (5/5), which was a very generous portion and absolutely delicious. I would definitely order it again. For our entrées, my friend and I shared the chicken piccata and the bolognese. The chicken piccata was a 5/5 for me, while the bolognese was a 4.5/5. Both dishes were excellent and I'd happily order either again. This visit was a completely different experience from my first one, and I'm glad I came back. I'd love to return with my husband sometime.

Food: -House made focaccia; this focaccia deserves all the awards you can get for bread because it is so appetizing and savory. The seasoning paired with the whipped ricotta and roasted garlic are everything you could want and more and I had to hold back from ordering more before the main dish arrived -Spicy gemelli; I was looking forward to this dish since it's a highly popular item on their menu but ultimately I was a bit disappointed because the pasta was cooked too al dente for me so it was on the firmer side. As for seasoning, I consider this to be one of the most important details/components of pasta and for me it was lacking in this dish. There was not enough salt and I had to add chili flakes to give it some more flavor, I've honestly had better spicy vodka pastas elsewhere. This may be a dish that is overhyped in my opinion. -Italian Sundae; the dessert was actually quite exceptional here, featuring a sundae with homemade Blue Bell vanilla ice cream, extra virgin olive oil, chopped pistachios, fresh whipped cream, and sea salt, I highly recommend ordering this if you have a sweet tooth but like a bit of savory in your dessert Ambiance: -A sleek and elegant design to their interior with intimate booths, full service bar, and patio dining Service: -The service definitely could've been better. We were waiting to give our order for quite a while when we sat down and then the waiter hardly came by to check in and see if we needed anything. Overall, some good options if you order certain things, but others were a miss.

The whipped ricotta is an absolute must order and I'll definitely be getting that again. The calamari was good, but pretty standard fried calamari, although I loved the addition of the chilis. The portions are absolutely massive, so it's very easy to share dishes. I got the spaghetti and meatballs and they were an absolute delight. The meatballs were juicy, seasoned perfectly, and had a great texture. You can tell they're freshly made and use quality meat. Others at my table got the Chicken Parm Vodka and Tortellini Vodka, and both were rich, creamy, and delicious. The Chicken Parm portion was especially huge. The food here is a 10/10 and I'll be telling everyone to come here for some great Italian food. The restaurant itself is charming. The booths are huge and I loved all the photos and paintings on the walls. The Kingdom of Italy flag caught my eye too. Once the sun went down, the atmosphere really started to come alive. There are a few things I think Barsotti's could improve on. The bussers seemed a little underdressed for this type of restaurant, and some of their shirts were stained. We were also celebrating a birthday and specifically mentioned it in the reservation, so I was hoping for some acknowledgment. Our waiter was very nice and respectful, but I would have liked a little more interaction and explanation of the menu. Overall, the positives definitely outweigh the negatives. I'll be coming back and would recommend Barsotti's to others.
