I love Mediterranean food and pizza. I was in Chino Hills and hungry...found this place on Google search and thought I'd give it a try. I was a little disappointed. I ordered the chicken kabob pizza and I was asked what toppings I wanted. I thought there were standard toppings that came with the chicken kabob pizza. I was told I could have up to 5 toppings. I told the lady this was my first time here and asked what toppings do people select w/ the chicken kabob pizza. She wasn't understanding so I asked for red onion which they don't have but they have white onion. I asked for green olives but they have black olives. I asked for red bell pepper but they only had green. I also asked for mushrooms which they had! So, I ended up w/ 3 toppings: mushrooms, white onion, and black olives. The pizza lacked taste; the crust was okay. I couldn't find the chicken kebob on my pizza. I should have ordered the Mediterranean pizza based on reviews. It was a busy day, had several trips around town, so I decided to order thru grub hub, because I was hungry and surprisingly it was an easy process. The selection was simple, I had chicken w/less rice, double salad with mint dressing, hummus, tabouli , with extra garlic butter/sauce and a pita. I showed up to pick up my order according to my confirmation email. The young lady at the counter was very sweet, she seemed new, and was all smiles. I had a check in to claim a free drink, and so I did, the young lady didn't seem to know how it worked. She asked a woman that seemed to be the owner or manager for help. The woman answered the "free drink is for orders over $20" but, still honored the coupon. Thank you, for that. I enjoyed my meal in its entirety and cannot say I liked one item more that the other. The hummus and the garlic butter were flavorful not to mention the pita seemed made to order. One thing, when I asked for less rice seems as if he chicken portion was reduced as well. The rice is NOT Gluten-Free, but they do have a gluten-free pizza option. My husband and I ate here before going to the haunted houses at Coffin Creek. We drove down from the valley and decided to eat here because we found it listed in gluten-free restaurants on Yelp. It took about 15 minutes to place my order and to get there. They were very time efficient and the food was very yummy! I ordered their Lamb and its so juicy and tender. My boyfriend ordered the combo platter with lamb and beef for the main protein choices, basmati rice, jalapeno hummus (not bad), and tzatziki sauce with a side a whole wheat pita bread. Once again, great consistency with the tenderness and juiciness of the meat. Not over-cooked or dried out. I've tried other places in the area, like NAR Mediterranean Grill in Chino and although there food isn't so bad, they douse their bowls with too much sauce and dressing, not to mention, it's a little more pricier. Ordered the double chicken platter via Yelp/Grubhub. Very happy with my meal. The chicken was grilled just right, it wasn't over cooked and on the juicy side, they know what they're doing! Chicken breast is hard to get right. The garlic sauce is sauce! You can actually taste garlic which is shocking to me. I haven't been able to taste very much garlic at all in the surrounding Mediterranean restaurants, but this place has flavors on point. Will be ordering again probably in the near future. The food here is delicious!! I have been here several times and really like the food. They serve pizza, pitas, and platters with include rice and choice of meats. I usually order a platter that comes with rice and salad. You can chose to have more salad or more rice, but more salad costs extra, while more rice does not costs extra. You also get sides in a platter and they will call you to chose your sides when they prep your order. A platter comes with 1 skewer, or a combo includes 2 skewers. The combo price will vary depending on the meat you chose and it is a bit cheaper to order a combo rather than an extra skewer. I have not yet tried the pitas nor have I tried the pizza. The pizza does look really good, but I think I will stick to the platters. For the platters, I have tried both beef and chicken and I opt for more rice than salad because the rice is really good!! It is cooked perfectly and really tasty! For my sides, I usually just go for the hummus and the garlic sauce. Just know that the beef is cooked well, so when reheated, it does get overcooked and is best eaten fresh right away. A side of pita bread is an extra 50 cents. I have also tried the falafel and those are quite good as well. I prefer the meat though. Would I come back. Sure I would, but not all the time, as it does get a bit pricey for a casual meal. A combo platter can run you about $15. They have a check in deal for a free drink, but you have to spend $20 before taxes first, so it's not much of a check in deal honestly since that means you have to order 2 dishes. read more
