They were out of the original lemon cake I wanted, but someone reached out to me before preparing my order and recommended swapping it for the passion fruit cheesecake instead, which I thought was really thoughtful! My favorite was definitely the strawberry matcha--it was SO good and probably what I'd order again next time. I also ordered their pistachio latte, which I still haven't gotten around to trying yet, so I can't speak to that one just yet haha. I had also been wanting to try their famous honeycomb pastry for the longest time because I see everyone ordering it. It definitely wasn't what I expected though! I can totally see why people love it, but I don't think it was really my type of dessert. That being said, I'm still really glad I finally got to try it! What I received was bread, not at all toasted, a thin layer of avocado that tasted like it had been sitting around for a while or it came out of a can. There was no vibrant green color to it. There was a LOT of arugula on it that dominated the flavor and the top of the scramble wasn't fully cooked. I scraped off the uncooked part, but, because of how old the avocado tasted, I couldn't eat more than about 1/2 of it before I just gave up. Definitely don't recommend the Avocado Toast. I forgot to snap a photo. I would encourage them to revisit this recipe. Avocado Toast should be crunchy toast topped with lots of very fresh smashed or sliced avocado and a fried egg on top.
