Waste of money. Chicken over cooked, hard as rocks, cannot eat this, see images, thrown in the garbage. Never ordering again from this place. Terrible!!!!

    Philly cheesesteak from planet wings!

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have five stars but every planet wings on Staten Island is nothing short of perfect. I have been eating kind of wings for nearly 30 years now and it will never get old to me! I recently tried the Philly cheesesteak! Try it out!

I can't give this place a star the Philly cheesesteak was horrible it was all bread and cheese and the chicken wings look like they visited a crack house and the food was horrible chicken wings were all bone (must of been a crack head chicken) I do not recommend coming here nor will I be back. I had to give this place one star, so I can post my rating. It wasn't even worth one star.

Originally called for delivery but it was over an hour wait guy said if I can pick it up it would be ready in 15 mins. Well he wasn't kidding. Ordered 10 wings on the bone Jamaican jerk favor with curly fries was hot and fresh and 10 hot boneless with curly fries also hot and fresh. Haven't had planet wings in so long thinking it wasn't that great anymore WRONG was damn good

Zero pride and zero quality control

We drove all but four minutes down the street to the starlight for "hole in the wall". When walking in we were carded and immediately went to the bar to get a drink. Francis was such a delight throughout the evening, but so were the local folks! Met some cool people and had some great conversations! I hope my new friends, I meet last night see this post and know we had a great time! Thank YOU! i'd recommend this place if you're just passing through and in the area. If you're a friendly person and looking to have a chill night and meet some locals, this is the spot! Enjoy. Prices are right Services is great People watching is highly recommended

It's about a warm inviting encompassing feel along with cold cheap drinks. This place has all bases covered and then some, right here in Staten Island. $3 drafts as cold as an arctic breeze and $3 basic shots, hello. 4 flat screens to catch your favorite game or horse race. Long shuffle board. Juke box always banging. Friendly environment, in fact upon my first visit I was offered 4 free Yankee tickets, I gladly accepted. No need for quiche or caviar here plus they don't serve food lol, but guess what you're aloud to bring food in and there's several places within walking distance. Definitely predominately an older dude hangout, but all are clearly welcome. Next to the a train station and within some what close proximity to the Outer bridge. 14 or 15 seats at the bar. Fairly small, but nicely cozy. Yep this guy is a big fan and expect to see my checks in from time to time.

We met Mario, co owner, as soon as we stepped in. He welcomed us with open arms & provided wonderful recommendations for meals & drinks. They have a brand new menu so there are many choices that would please anyone/everyone. We started with their toasted homemade bread & pepper spread - soooo delicious!! We each had pasta - ravioli with vodka sauce & rigatoni with a bolognese ragu - both yummy! We split the peanut butter/jelly lava cake with vanilla ice cream - heavenly!! This place never disappoints - will be back in September. Highly recommend!

We looked for a spot. it's extremely hard to find parking in this area.. there is a small lot but seems like it gets filled quickly. We didn't have reservations but it was rather early and didn't think it would be hard to get a table. We walked in and a cute older man was energetically running around waiting tables and making drinks. I think he was the owner. He was funny and super nice. He seated us. There was two super large parties in the restaurant. They were loud and tbh obnoxious! We looked at the menu and we settled on some light options. Fried calamari 19 , a salad( Pera ) Bibb lettuce with Gorgonzola, candied walnuts , poached pears in a balsamic glaze 18 we added salmon and a meatball pie 21. Tiramisu So let me break it down for you. We had hot bread with a beautifully seasoned tomato sauce. It was really amazing! It really set the tone for the meal. The fried calamari was really good. Crunchy, fresh and not dripping in oil. Lightly seasoned and the sauce was perfect with the calamari. The only thing the portion was small for the price! The pizza came out and again this pizza was like a personal pizza again the price is off . I wasn't impressed with the cheese they used. It didn't seem like fresh mozzarella. First impression there was way too much sauce the crust was like a wafer. Super thin! I wasn't impressed. I took a bite and the sauce tasted raw ! Like not cooked. Had an unpleasant taste. I actually got a little nauseated. Moving on we order the Pera salad and wanted to top it with salmon. We expected a full salad and salmon right on top. It might have been our fault for not asking the price for the salmon but that's what we wanted. Anyway our salad comes and literally it's a side salad with a 3 or 4 oz portion of salmon. Super small. We couldn't believe it. We were still hungry so we order a tiramisu. It was light, fresh and just a simple dessert. This place is by far not a date place. It's loud and somewhat chaotic. You def can tell the owner is busting his ass. It's really unfortunate The food is not consistent with taste, flavor and consistency . Which is a shame. The price point of the food is way too expensive for a place on Staten Island! Speaking of price we get the bill and the price for two side salads and a small piece of salmon each 80 F'ING DOLLARS!! The guy literally ripped us off ! We pay the bill as we both shake our heads and walk out and the owner goes " hey make sure you tell 5 friends to come visit" yea sure and get ripped I would have loved to say! Patrons be aware!

Between the atmosphere, the charm, the creativity, and the overall experience- I would vote this the best dive bar in NYC (I think Guy Fieri would agree). Tucked inside a historic building, this place has such a unique, intimate feel. The energy, the staff, the food, the drinks and the live band, was fuggetabouit I checked out their website and then experiencing it in person, I can confidently say... The Rock House is a VIBE for sure! So the space is on the smaller side, but all part of that neighborhood vibe. It's like Rock Glam meets neighborhood bar in like a Cheers type setting what I'm sure there are regulars. For a night out with 10 people- we locked down the bathroom corner and I actually enjoyed being able to sit close with my friends. Felt like we had best seats in the house but when you look around... everyone kind of has the best seats since the bar is central to the entire perimeter. As a nurse, I've only ever been out that way for Northwell on Seguine, so I had no idea there was even a spot like this tucked at the end. Hidden gem for sure. And don't let the word "bar" fool you okay this place delivers on food Big ups to "Rocker Jen," the owner, who was hanging out like one of the patrons, she not only served up looks, but jumped in to make her signature Bloody Mary. When I say it's a meal in a cup, I mean it- my inner foodie was so excited Onion rings, fried pickles, a bacon-wrapped hot dog, fried sweet shrimp, a pretzel, chicken fingers, and two of the best cheeseburger sliders I've had in a while. And you already know I'm a foodie... ahem Yelp Elite I really can't stop thinking of that delicious rim too. What really surprised me is that it's not just a bar with entertainment- I read- it's also dog-friendly, which makes it even better . Check out their website for happy hour details, events, and happenings... Rock House Bar and Grille knocked it out of the park. I'll absolutely be back. If you love Rock Music and good food and drinks- do not miss this place- enjoy
