Driving through Warwick on my way to City Park when I see Plant City X! This was a pleasant surprise as I was only aware of X Middletown location and the first location in Providence. A member of the staff was super personable. He assisted me while I took my time to make a decision and pointed me to some of the popular menu items. In my opinion, the better sandwiches are those made with tofu as opposed to those made with seitan. For me seitan is a hit or miss food, and sadly for me....the Philly Cheesesteak sandwich was a miss. The employee who helped me while ordering was the same to ask me how I liked my food when I walked over to the trash he was replacing. I told him the Buffalo cauliflower bites were the best I've had, however I was underwhelmed by the sandwich. I was then offered a replacement as I only took two bites of the first sandwich and didn't want to finish the rest. I am beyond pleased by the level of customer service displayed....

and now I sit happily writing this review as I enjoy my delicious "Chik" Sandwich. I will be returning soon to explore more of the menu!

The X burger with an impossible patty was delicious! Great fries too. It's cool that there is a drive through for all vegan food. Would highly recommend!

Every time we have gone to Rhode Island, we always try to stop by one of our go to food spots - Plant City X.

In the rare & unfortunate circumstance that I accidentally find myself with a hangover, Plant City X is my salvation. Specifically, the Chik sandwich (on a gluten free bun) with a Tractor cola. That's the cure. That's all it takes. Recently, I gave the drive thru a whirl for the first time. I was thoroughly impressed with how kind & efficient the staff was, even with the difficulties of operating through an intercom & then a window. Now that I know the drive thru is reliable, there's simply no need to get out of my pajamas when journeying out to get my sandwich/soda combo. Incredible. 10/10 recommend for a those tough mornings.

Excellent plant based burgers! I had a double "X" burger, wife had the truffle burger and daughter had a tofu (chick) sandwich. All of them were great and my daughter loves everything. Plant city also has a poutine type fries dish which was also great and some really neat deserts like a bean brownie. Big fan. Nice stop for dinner and good for the fam.

Super gross area, strange building and traffic flow, sterile inside. Menu is nice. Had burger, sweet potato fries and chickpea tuna wrap, plus takeout quinoa w veggies. Burger and fries A Wrap B Quinoa C Prices were very low! $9 for a burger and $7 for a wrap in 2024?!

Given how the Providence Airport is devoid of gluten free options, I searched for a nearby place where I could pick up lunch before my flight. I was thrilled to find Plant City X. The menu had several good options and I chose the breakfast burrito. It had refried beans, Just Egg, avocado, lettuce, tomato and their special sauce. And the gluten free tortilla at no extra cost was terrific. The burrito was awesome, and totally hit the spot from 30,000 feet above. In fact it's a recipe I'll try to emulate at home but it probably won't be as good as this one. Minor ding since the burrito was not ready at the time it was supposed to be, which was odd because I was literally the only customer in the store.

Yup, this place is the real deal!!! Great quality, surprisingly affordable and amazing tasting food. I got their X Double Burger ($11) and the Nachos ($9). The burger was large and the veggie patties weren't dry at all. Every component of the burger was on point, from the bomb sauce to the cashew cheese and the bun. The homemade chips for the nachos were perfect. The were thick and worked well to holding the amazing toppings. They gave more guacamole than I expected and the cashew sauce was so good. Maybe the only place I've been to whose prices have not increased since this inflation spike. Definitely visit this place. People on any type of diet would love the food here.

The customer service was great and the food was tasty. I'm not attached to a plant-based diet, but I was eager to try this new spot in Warwick and support a new business. I went with my younger son and we both enjoyed a nice dinner. I enjoyed their sandwich, a riff on "chicken", and it was hot and delicious. My son enjoyed the impossible burger. He said his was good but he enjoyed mine more. We also enjoyed an order of fries with truffle dipping sauce. I found myself using the truffle sauce on my chicken as well as a fries! Nice flavor, not overpowering on the truffle. The interior dining space was hip with bright lights and Scandinavian inspired furnishings. Knowing that this was a former Burger King I could see how they transformed the space into a classy but casual area to enjoy your food. The prices were not inexpensive, But also not unreasonable. I'm glad that I gave it a shot and would not hesitate to recommend.

I went for breakfast here. There were just two other people in the place at 9am. There seemed to be no heat on, so I asked about why it was so cold. The counter person (who told me she wasn't a vegan or even a vegetarian) said she'd ask the manager if they could turn on the heat. A short time later, it was decently warm. As to the overall business - for weeks, I was confused by Plant City (nearby) and Plant City X as their outside appearance was similar and the website of Plant City was a bit confusing. I've learned that Plant City (same owners of Plant City X) is designed as a food hall/marketplace and seminar/event center, hosting expensive ($200-250 per person one-hour long vegan seminars) and Drag events for example) and Plant City X is more of a cafe. As to the food - Not many choices, but I was able to find the breakfast sandwich (Just egg, vegan cheese, mushroom bacon on an english muffin - a whopping $6 plus tax, but somewhat okay. The mushroom bacon was very good. The Just Egg is good and a suitable egg replacement, but I prefer egg whites over the Just Egg ingredients which may be a cause for concern. Of course the english muffin is like others. Sadly, the vegan cheese was more like a spread and didn't break through the rest of the ingredients. I could have not had it and never known it wasn't there if I didn't see it myself. The coffee ($4 for a large cup) was less like Dunkin Donuts coffee (the predominant brand in New England where it was established decades ago) and more like Starbucks - very strong and bitter. As a native New Yorker, I prefer Dunkin. Even after using 4 packets of the semi-stevia Plant X has (Stevia "in the raw" - NOT! since its not raw stevia at all, it's a mix), it was way too bitter for me, so I tossed it. There was no stir stick to stir the stevia in, so I attempted to use a straw - didn't work, it immediately shrunk as it is designed to be environmentally friendly and RI is banning plastic bags, so I guess I shouldn't be surprised. (I'm a fan of plastic bags and their reuse over to carry my laundry to get clean, carry my lunch and other things, shop with them multiple times, again and again then recycling them when they get holes or torn, then recycle them by burning them to boil water that creates steam that turns a generator that creates electricity as NY City does in the waste-to-energy facilities across the river in New Jersey, PA and SC. Thousands of homes benefit). To give the sandwich some taste, I tried to get some type of hot sauce, but no luck, they don't have any, but they did have Sweet Chili Sauce, so I figured that was better than nothing as the sandwich was bland and somewhat dry. I was surprised I was charged $1 for a tiny plastic cup for it. Overall, it was okay for the breakfast (they have overnight oats and a wrap, etc. as other choices), but I'd get a similar, more tasty veggie egg white sandwich on an English muffin at a lower price in a diner and more choices (grits made in water, etc.) as well. Maybe I'll try the dinner or lunch choices here or Plant City to see if those choices make a better impression on me.

Unreal food and And quick service. You have to get the extreme fries. Good atmosphere as well and convenient location

Have been here 3 times in 2 weeks since their opening. Love love love their food and have yet to be disappointed. My favorite is the X burger and sweet potato fries. Tons of flavor and satisfying. I'm not a vegetarian, but I don't miss the taste of meat when I'm here. I have also tried the guac chix sandwich which is a tofu patty as the base. Atmosphere is bright and clean. A drive thru is available and there is plenty of parking and indoor/outdoor seating. Will definitely make this restaurant a regular stop. read more

I'm writing this quick review in the parking lot because everyone needs to know how incredible this place is! As a long time (like 25 years long) vegetarian, I'm always on the hunt (harrr) for something other than a frozen veggie patty or salad. Normally I would have dined in, but as the holidays are approaching and I'm in a rush, I opted for the drive through. I ordered the "chick" sandwich which is served with coleslaw, pickles, and a chipotle mayo. I ordered "as is" because I wanted to see what they were made of, so to speak, in the most basic form. All I can say is HOLY SMOKES. The tofu "chicken" is crispy beyond belief without the tofu being chewy (the worst and most common crime against tofu) or too soft and squishy. The balance of chipotle sauce with red cabbage slaw and sweet pickles was spectacular and the bun, perfectly browned on a griddle. The photo might not be impressive but I needed to dig in as I had places to go! I'll most certainly be coming here again very soon. read more

Stumbled upon this restaurant while in the area. My husband is vegetarian, I'm not but wow! I absolutely loved it and so did he! I got the chicken sandwich & he got the Philly Cheesesteak. They were amazing! Wish we had a Plant City near us! The atmosphere and staff were great as well. read more

This place is amazing. I'm a vegetarian, my wife is a meat eater and we both LOVED it. It was honestly the best smoothie i've ever had. I got the açaí smoothie and we shared sweet potato fries and the guac burger. The burger was amazing. It was a grain/veggie/bean burger and was flavored great. They have the option of subbing it for an impossible burger, but the patty was fabulous, I would keep it as is. The ambiance was really nice. Clean, white, modern, lots of plants and light. I can see this becoming a very frequent stop for us because i'm already dreaming of that smoothie. read more

I have been vegan for 16 years and if you told me 16 years ago there would be a vegan restaurant in my city it would have been a dream come true! I've eaten at the Providence Plant City multiple times and this new location is perfect when I want to treat myself! I love the drive through option, and have eaten from the Warwick location three times so far and it's been amazing every time. Super nice and friendly staff, great food, short wait! Highly recommend the chik'un sandwich, the champagne pickles are to die for! read more

If you want some delicious veggie based food on the go check out this place. They have everything from plant based chicken nuggies to delicious bean burgers and fries. I got my hands on the mouthwatering Guac burger and chilli fries. The guac burger is a bean patty with juicy tomatos, sweet red onions, crunchy lettuce, flavor packed guacamole and a spread of an amazing cilantro mayo. It's and amazing burger and made to fill you up. The chilli fries start with golden brown fries covered in their delicious bean chilli and topped with their awesome cashews nacho cheese. It was definitely spot on delicious and soming worth getting again. read more

no no no no no. this place sucks. Firstly, was redirected FOUR times to gain access to the property. Walked in expecting some version in Plant City in Prov. NO comparison. They sell no prepared, no fancy coffee. This place is just like a healthier McDonalds. But MOST importantly, I was the ONLY person in the restaurant. ZERO staff. I stood there 5 minutes watxhing the staff laughing in the kitchen, no one ever acknowledged me. I walked out. never to return. Booooooo! read more

there is nobody manning the front counter; I think they give priority to drive-through customers; the people working to prepare food see me standing there, but they are not saying anything, nor providing any indication that help is on the way. the sit down area is reasonably clean for a 1 pm visit, but the tables and seating could use a wipe-down. read more

This has become one of my favorite local spots, esp for a fast food establishment. You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu, the fried "chic" sandwich is a favorite, and the sweet potato fries always hit the spot. I've ordered the chickpea "tuna" wrap and that is decent, tho a bit bland. Otherwise, i've never had a bad experience. read more

Me & hubby loved it. We had Buffalo Mac & cheese, x treme fries, chick nuggets, a burger, and a caramel pumpkin spice shake. It was all delicious, great atmosphere, and nice staff. I can't wait to go back. Although I like Plant City PVD, I enjoyed the faster service and location of PCX better. Wonderful to have another vegan option in the area. read more

Been to all Plant city locations and they have never failed. If i could afford to go everyday for every meal, i would be a vegan. Everything is so delicious, especially the guac chik sandwich! Holy Salty! Your food is delicious, but your salt level requires blood pressure meds on the side. Please take your salt levels down to near zero. You don't need it with the level of flavors you put in your food. I want to come back, but for now I'll stick to Plant City. read more

Plant City X is a vegan fast food place in Warwick. The food is amazing. I recommend the milk shakes and the chick'n sandwich. It's really cool to be able to order anything on the menu and know that it's vegan. Staff are friendly and seem happy at work, which is a very good sign! read more

For what it is, it's definitely not worth how expensive everything is. I love having vegan options available but I don't know how anyone affords to eat here. Expect to spend at least $20 if you go alone, bring a friend and it's up to $50. It's fast food!! And certainly acts like it, everything comes out cold. Imagine my surprise when I spent $5 on fries and asked for more ketchup... to which I told it would be $1. Are you kidding?? The first container I was given was half full and I just spent $20 on a wrap for lunch. Unbelievable. read more

Maybe it's not Plant City's fault, as I am a new vegetation. However, I purchased an Impossible burger...I got it home and opened it and could not eat it! I could not stand the smell of it. I threw it away! $$ into the trash! read more

It's so nice to have a restaurant that offers only vegan fast food options. No need to worry about the ingredients, they're all plant- based. Fast food has been all but gone from my diet, but now I can pop in to Plant City X and have lots of options. If you like truffles, be sure to try the various dishes that offer it, like Truffle Impossible Burger or Truffle Mac. read more

Enjoyed my meal there. tasted better than i thought. But... Some people writing reviews thinking this is healthy for you, or a healthy alternative. With one writing "super healthy". Look at the ingredients of your "healthy" plant based meats. Same ingredients/chemicals are in yoga mats. You know, the same ingredients that Subway got in trouble for years back for using the same stuff in their bread. That is not the only one. Just informative information. If it taste's good and you like it then that's great, but don't confuse these lab made pattys and their ingredients with healthy. read more

Amazing food! I'm not remotely vegan and I love eating here. The nachos and Mac and cheese are some of the best I've ever had, you'd never know they were vegan! The drive thru experience was also great, food was ready so quickly! Will be frequenting Plant City X for sure! read more

I love the Providence Plant City and was excited to try their "fast food" version at Plant City X. I've been a vegetarian since I was a teenager, but my kids are fully against this choice and were wary to try vegan fast food. Walking in, it is strikingly bright and extremely clean. Everything they use is compostable. The music playlist was stellar. The girl at the counter, Carly, was friendly, patient, and helpful, and convinced my kids there was nothing scary about plant based fast food. She was very helpful with menu suggestions. They had the nuggets and fries and loved it. They allowed the kiddos to sample the vegan ice cream so they could be convinced that even dairy free ice cream is yummy. I had the nachos and they were absolutely delicious, even for a "real" cheese lover like myself. Plant City X was an all around great experience. I wish we could replace every McDonalds in the county with one of these spots! read more

Terrible customer service. Lisa who does refunds is extremely rude and needs a few customer service classes. Upper management should certainly pay for her to take a few it may help this establishment. After terrible service cold food and the wrong order I will suggest going anywhere else! read more

It's ok. I really like the Plant City in Providence. I was disappointed that the menu in this version is pretty much only burgers. Hopefully in time they will expand the menu to include some of the stuff from their other restaurant??? Please! ??? read more

I wasn't impressed. I ordered the chix Caesar wrap and the truffle mac and cheese. Let's start off with they really don't season anything. The item had no seasoning. In the wrap the Chickpeas were over cooked, they were hard and crunchy. The caesar dressing lack any flavor except for a hint of cashew, the wrap itself should have been softerbut in wasn't. The mac and cheese left me with a bad taste in my mouth which I could still taste the next day. Weird taste and also no seasoning. I am a vegan plantbased cook and seasoning is very important in the food. If you want more people to come back you need to have people who know what they are doing in the kitchen. You need to step up your game, cause for me this is not gonna cut it. As for the soft serve ice cream I can go to Trader Joe's and get the chocolate coconut ice cream in a pint for $3.99, which is soooooo delicious and doesn't have a coconut taste at all, instead of paying $6 for a small cup of theirs. All in all very disappointed especially seeing the prices are not cheap. Just like the 1st Plant City in Providence they are way over price. Wouldn't mind paying if the taste and quality was there tho. read more

My friend absolutely loves it! so I asked if they wanted to eat there, of course they said yes, its one of their favorite places to eat. we both really enjoyed the food! It's a nice quite spot to eat some vegan food! read more

Appetizers: fried squash blossoms stuffed with tofu ricotta in pomodoro sauce, and housemade focaccia with a trio of whipped butters (thyme and shallot, Calabrian chili, and smoked sweet onion). The ratio of butter to focaccia was more than double what we could use (we ordered more focaccia to spread it on!) but both of these apps were perfect.
