Beautiful Resort, Disappointing Front Desk Experience…read more The resort itself is beautiful, with well-maintained grounds, comfortable villas, and a great restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience at check-in completely overshadowed what should have been a wonderful stay. After we had already checked in and paid the required incidental deposit, we were unexpectedly told to pay an additional deposit. When I questioned this, the Front Desk Supervisor, Michael, told us that if we did not pay immediately, our reservation would be canceled, despite the fact that our stay had already been paid for. What was even more disappointing was the way we were treated. Instead of trying to resolve the situation professionally, we were met with a rude and dismissive attitude, with repeated references to "hotel policy" rather than any genuine effort to help. This happened on my husband's birthday, and it completely ruined the beginning of our celebration. The property deserves five stars, but the customer service we received at the front desk was unacceptable. I sincerely hope management addresses this issue, because no guest should be treated this way.

The amenities were decent with a Keurig coffee maker, mini fridge, desk area, loveseat and king bed. Would have been nice to have a robe. Nice balcony, and actually saw a hot air balloon land in the nearby parking lot! Pool area was decent with lots of lounge chairs and a few cabanas. They do have room service, plenty of parking, on-site spa (did not try), and a wine tasting room (did not try) near the restaurant ... separated from the hotel. The decor in the lobby area is a little dated, but neat and clean -- front desk staff were very friendly.

This is a restroom outside near the front events venue. Very clean and maintained.

So I basically got the photo free. They showed me the app that they use for the passport photo before printing it out and handing it to the customer. They follow the guidlines. I didn't find anything wrong with the first passport photo. Crossing my finger that this photo will suffice. I've never had any issues receiving my lab results, and the staff have always been professional and courteous. My only suggestion would be to consider accommodating patients who have already checked in before the cutoff time, especially those who arrive before the 15-minute mark leading up to closing. It can be disappointing to complete the check-in process only to learn there isn't enough time to be seen. Overall, this is still one of my preferred locations for lab work because of the friendly staff and efficient service. If you're in the area and need labs done, just plan to arrive early and you should have a smooth experience. As always, you can thank me later!

I just added a quick tip and check in the last time since I wasn't able to leave a review on my iphone. I really like this place. The prices are great and the ladies are like any nail salon...they yell across and speak Vietnamese, and its in Oceanside so the prices aren't as bad as getting your nails done in Carlbad or elsewhere. This place is right on a busy intersection off Oceanside Blvd and in a busy plaza where Wienerschnitzel is at but I always find parking when I go. Amy is fantastic and did my nails. she is quick and my french tip gel set came out phenomenal. Didnt get discolored, yellow, chip, or fall off. I also got a spa pedicure. I prefer the younger gal. I forgot her name. The older gal did my pedi and I wasnt extremely impressed. She was okay. I usually judge it by the massage and how thorough my pedicure was but it was okay but not amazing. I went back for a gel fill and it came out fantastic. She offered to paint the white tip since it was grown out but I didnt but she said she wanted to make sure she offered. I like that they offer but aren't pushy aobut upselling you so I like that. Its not your spa day you'd go relax at where theres tvs everywhere with flashing tv and painted walls but its also not your hole in the wall either. Its clean enough to get my nails done here. Especially for what you pay for. I'd highly recommend Amy for your French tip. I like mine short, with the regular tip, regular powder, and gel. With that and spa pedicure, design on my toes, extra callus remover, I spend less than $40 there which is awesome!
