Very disappointed in recent experience with Plessers. We bought a dishwasher on their site which had every appearance of being "in stock", they took payment and after, they sent an email showing it wouldn't ship for a month. Okay, fine, disappointing and our current dw is on its last legs, but okay. I email in to confirm that this is a firm ship date and am given confirmation. A month passes. I email in to check if we are still on track. No word. Email again. No word. Black Friday passes. Cyber Monday passes. The day after cyber Monday I get a call from them asking me to call back. I call back right away. No response. Next day I call and get voicemail again. After a bunch of phone tag, I learn that the dw has been on backorder the whole time and now they have no ETA at all. The guy keeps repeating that there are HUNDREDS of other dishwashers of the same model also on backorder (unclear why I care). So after wasting a whole month waiting for Plessers while they held my money and the big sales came and went, I had to cancel my order and now back to square one. Really bad communication and way to treat a customer. read more

(10-19-23) To whom it may concern: I purchased the Electrolux Front Load Perfect Steam Gas Dryer (EFMG527UTT) in June 2021. It came with a 10-year major component warranty (no coverage for labor). Main board failed 2 months ago. Called in warranty service. We were added to a wait list for repair service. 2 months of having to hang and dry our clothes outside. 2x site visits (1 diagnostic, 1 replacement)....$300 in labor to replace a $215 piece of hardware. Repair happened this Friday at 2pm. I woke up at 6am Saturday to find the dryer constantly running, with the steam valve non-stop spraying water. I can't get the water to stop even if I power the machine off. The only remedy is to shut the water valve off to both my washing machine and dryer. Assuming the same service process as before, I'll have to spend another $300 in labor. In total, I'll be $600 out of pocket for back-to-back failures. I'm posed with this situation: do I just buy a new machine considering the original cost was $999? This math does not make sense. Does Electrolux/Plessers stand behind this type of quality? Aside from the time and money side of this problem; what is the environmental impact for putting out this type of product to your customers? Is there really anyone who is going to spend more than the cost of the machine to repair it before they just buy a new one? The machine is literally 2.5 years old. (11-4-23) UPDATE: Plesser's in Babylon, NY sold me the unit. I contacted them regarding appliance repair. They recommended Quick Fix Appliance Repair in Lindenhurst, NY. New Leaf is who honors the 10-year extended warranty (Sold by Plesser's). After many hours of phone calls, scheduling + emails, I JUST TODAY FIND OUT THAT NOTHING IS COVERED BY THE WARRANTY. According to New Leaf, "MAJOR COMPONENTS = MOTOR ONLY" ....According to New Leaf, the MOTHERBOARD IS NOT A MAJOR COMPONENT AND THEREFOR NOT COVERED! All too convenient that all parties knew what part needed replacing and continued to guide me for "warranty repair." I was charged $582, waited 62 days for completion, and JUST NOW AM BEING TOLD, "SORRY, NOTHING IS COVERED." Scam artists from the top down. Original cost of machine $999 + NON-WARRANTY repair $582 = $1,581 total cost for a piece of junk. Plesser's rep told me to reach out to Electrolux directly; that Presser's would not have any weight negotiating on my behalf. My favorite line from the Plesser's rep; "We just sell it." DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY WITH ELECTROLUX, PLESSERS OR NEW LEAF. They will bamboozle you until you're ready to give up and find another company. Awful. read more

From the moment we entered there immaculate showroom store we knew this was were we wanted to purchase appliances. Many appliances are set in actual cabinets for a real feel of how they would look . A salesman by the name of Peter greeted us and asked if we had any questions. He was extremely helpful in explaining our many choices and truly helped us to make a decision. Once we purchased appliances ( range , range hood , refrigerator, dishwasher, ) we had some design questions relating to fit in our kitchen . I just ordered an appliance package from Plesser's and worked with Meghan! I can't say enough about her help and professionalism. She was able to give me perfect information about every appliance and researched the best deals being offered. I was already going in with Black Friday pricing, but Meghan managed to find me even better pricing on one of the items! I bought all Frigidaire Professional appliances so I qualified for a $500 Frigidaire rebate. But Meghan found me an additional $600 rebate from Plesser's, plus they don't charge tax since they're shipping out of state, and I put it on a no interest Plesser's card for 18 months. When all is said and done I got $9000 worth of appliances for $4300 (with rebates), and have 18 months to pay them off. That includes everything! What a pleasure I had working with one of the sales associates (Lyndsey Coughlin). I had inquired on a LG gas stove that we were looking for. We had one on order from a national chain that due to arrive on Dec 4 the moved to Dec 22. Then On Dec 21 they changed it to late February at that time my faith was long gone. Plessers Appliances not only had one in stock the final cost was very close to the Black Friday deal. It now should arrive 4-5 weeks before my last confirmed eta was. Did an online search for a specific model refrigerator and found a link to their website. They had the exact model I was looking for, in the exact color. Their price was already a little cheaper than the Memorial Day sales at the big box stores but when I clicked on the item, it showed a special one day pre Memorial Day price which would save me $235 - and they offer free shipping. I was skeptical that this would be a brand new item - thought maybe it was a floor model, a returned model or a scratch and dent. So I called to ask, Spoke to sales rep Meghan who was wonderful. She reassured me that it would be a brand new, never been out of the box refrigerator which would be delivered directly from GE. She completely understood my concerns and explained they are a bricks and mortar store who have been in business for over 100 years and I have nothing to worry about with my online purchase. So purchase made. I received an email from Meghan within minutes, attaching a copy of the order for me to read through to make sure all details were correct before she ordered the item from GE. So far my experience with Plessers has been great. It won't be delivered for another 2 or 3 weeks, which is not a problem for me, so I will update this review once the refrigerator has been received. We purchased an entire suite of appliances from PLESSER'S in 2017. Christmas weekend the refrigerator began making noise. I called Michael Erhart at PLESSER'S at exactly 10 am Tuesday. He was able to schedule delivery of a replacement for Thursday. Michael is extremely responsive. We ordered a new refrigerator, scheduled the installation for Thursday, saving the New Years weekend, all by 10:30 am. Plessers is a quality supplier and their customer service is top notch. We purchased a refrigerator. My wife insisted on white so we ordered the GE white which was listed at $700 more than the stainless. The salesman agreed to give us a $300 discount. We ordered it. What he did not mention was the additional fees he charged us. I only noticed it on the receipt when we arrived home. We were charged a delivery fee, an installation fee and a credit card fee, none or which were mentioned. The fees almost took away the entire discount. We could have ordered it at full price at PC Richards or Best Buy, with no additional fees. read more

DO NOT PURCHASE extended service agreements from Plessers. It is a waste of money if you actually need repairs. You may as well just hand them extra money when purchasing products. I have a microwave & oven combo down for two months. The service company has made multiple attempts to repair without success. Now they've just cancelled an appointment because they do not have the part. What is the point of having a contract if they don't fix or replace defective units? Plessers position is basically to deny any involvement after taking my money. Basically -don't call us. I know we took your money & sold you a service plan. Just call them and see how it goes. When I requested a supervisor I was again told to call the warranty company that they hired. They can't help me. By the way - over the last few years we have purchased one or more of the following from Plessers: washer, dryer, dishwasher, refrigerator / freezer, oven / microwave.
