Ordered a dishwasher on Oct 13 2022. I called before placing the order to double check it was in stock as was shown on the website. Called again after placing order to be sure all was good. Was told it would ship in 4 to 7 days. Called many times starting 20 October to finally be told the website is often wrong. Finally I was told it was unknown when it might be available. It was suggested to accept a lower ranked substitute. Said no. Took 2 emails, multiple phone calls and finally got a refund for the product on Nov 7. Also, on several calls was told that there were notes about contacting me that never happened. They know the website stock is often wrong. I checked the website on Oct 20 and again on Nov 1. Both times the same model number was shown to be in stock. Customer service promised to call me back with updates. Never received a callback. I cannot recommend doing business with Plesser's Appliances. There seems to be no way to know you will get what you ordered based on the website and calls to customer service. read more

I called because I needed an in wall ac unit that fit into a certain sleeve and was told they could not search their acs by dimension and I should call the manufacturer of the existing unit. We went to Plesser's on a family members recommendation and we couldn't be happier. When we walked in all the sales people were on the phone or busy with other customers, but it was only a short wait before Emily came over to help us. We explained what we wanted and she showed us a few options. Not once did she put any pressure on us to go with a certain brand over another. She gave us her advice and we are extremely pleased with our selections. The delivery was scheduled and we called Emily the day before because we thought the Fridge wouldn't fit and we should have requested the counter depth one instead. She called us right back and said no problem, the other 3 appliances would still be delivered the next day and the new Fridge a few days later. The installers who brought the appliances were also top notch. They were professional and careful of our home. They cleaned everything up and overall did a great job. A coworker referred me to Plessers for appliances. She was extremely happy with her experience. I had already been to some of the big box appliance chains & was skeptical about Plessers having what I wanted & being competitively priced. I went to Plessers in March & couldn't believe they had the appliances there so I could see them & speak to someone who knows the products they are selling. Plessers has a huge variety of appliances & their prices were the best across the board. They told me about all the rebates that I was eligible for that the other stores never told me about! They held my appliances for over 2 months while my renovation was underway. They checked in with me to see if I was still on schedule & to let me know that they could deliver as soon as I was ready. All appliances were delivered and after installation I noticed the dishwasher was leaking. I contacted my salesman & he told me to email customer support. I thought "oh boy here we go, I'm going to get the run around." The exact opposite happened. Brianna contacted me within a few hours & told me that they would swap out & install the new dishwasher free of charge. I was shocked because I expected a lengthy process of dealing with the manufacturer. She arranged for the delivery & Install within a few days. Brianna was absolutely wonderful & professional. After they delivered the new dishwasher Brianna emailed me to see how it went & if I was satisfied with everything. PLEASERS APPLIANCE- Buyer beware. Terrible customer service and they do not stand behind their products even when a warranty is purchased. They have no problem taking customers money and returning calls for payments but once paid service is awful. They had the appliance at a good price and quoted me a price, including installation. They even sent me an invoice and charged my credit card. But then they contact me and said they had under-estimated the installation fee and that they would not honor the invoice. They gave me the choice of cancelling the order or taking the appliance without installation. I had no choice but to install the appliance myself. They said that to make up for the inconvenience, they would give me a white glove delivery, where the delivery person brings in the box, opens it, and makes sure the appliance isn't damaged. When the delivery person showed up, he had no idea what I was asking for, but he was gratious enough to open the box, and I checked to make sure there was no damage in shipment. So in summary, good product, good price, horrible on honoring their commitments, once made. read more

We are doing a makeover on a home we recently purchased and I discovered Plessers while doing an internet search for some specific KitchenAid appliances that I owned in my previous home and wanted to integrate into the new home. Plessers pricing was significantly lower than other suppliers and their website is very simple to navigate. I just placed my third order, this time for KitchenAid refrigerator drawers that are a first time buy. My first two orders were received promptly with good communication, in excellent condition and Plessers delivering company was very professional. Sure enough they made the sale, but when I got the invoice emailed to me that day they were now charging me for delivery which I specifically said "you told me it was free" and asked for the charge to be removed in an email back to them. I tried calling them all day before deliver day and not one returned my call until 7 pm that evening. The next day after delivery I got a call offering $50.00 rebate to my delivery of the $87 they charged me. About a month after I placed my order, I recieved an email from the delivery company my oven would be delivered the following day. Problems, Problems... Where do I start? Waiting a month to get something like an oven, no call from the delivery company to set an appointment; instead they just come when they want to, or paying extra for "room of choice" delivery and getting it left in the garage screwed down to a pallet? Worst mistake I made was trying to save a couple hundred dollars instead of buying locally. Super excited to get my new refrigerator. I was unable to get the Whirlpool model I wanted at the big box stores. They were out till April 2022. I called Plesser's. I spoke to Barry Dubin. He was professional and friendly. Advised that the unit I wanted would be in the warehouse on Friday,and it would be shipped to my house within 2 weeks. They are in Long Island, and I am in Tallahassee, FL. Best news I heard concerning a replacement fridge. The one I have is half working, just not as cool as it should be. 2 weeks is so much better than than 5 months. The price was also amazing. Hundreds of dollars less than the big box, and I got a free 10 year warranty for the seals and compressor. I added the 5 year, bumper to bumper for another $200. Our microwave died and we needed a specific Manufacturer (Bosch) and model number to replace it. Everyone local (in Oklahoma) gave an expected arrival date of March 2022 for the next shipment. If you're looking for a major appliance don't waste your time going anywhere else. Plessers was our third stop (after PC Richards and Costco). I wish it was the first. PC Richards tried to aggressively sell us something we didn't want and then gave up to leave us hanging so we walked out. Best Buy sales person didn't know what he was talking about and they wanted to nickel and dime us on everything (install, haul away, electric cord to hook up, delivery). Plessers was awesome. Our sales associate Stephen Stica was great. He was patient, answered our questions, didn't push us to buy something but rather helped us find the right one (oven/range and microwave). He had insight into all the models that no one else did. And they beat Costco's price! The only downside was I called to tell the sales manager what a great experience I had and he never returned my 3 calls before I gave up. So posting here on Yelp. i have purchased three items at Plessers. One worked fine, two items were faulty. The first item, a freezer, worked beautifully. The second item, a Maytag dishwasher, they installed and it stopped working immediately. After sending repair men, they wound up replacing the unit. This summer (2022) i purchased a $4000 Napoleon grill. Worked well for about one week. After one week, the lights no longer light up and the side grill will turn on, it needs a match! Imagine, spending $4000 on a propane grill and after one week, it doesn't work correctly Before I go further with my review, i want to mention, Plessers put the grill together before delivering to my home. Once the unit stop to funtion correctly, i called Plessers. And spoke with them multiple times. Now now they are ghosting me, they don't return my emails. They had Napoleon send me parts that I should install myself in the grill! One week old and $4000 and they will not stand behind what they sell. The only solution they have is for me to schedule a zoom call with the Napoleon rep and install the parts myself. I am not savvy and cannot do this myself. I am extremely uncomfortable and do not feel I can install these pieces. I also find it ridiculous to spend $4000 and after one week be asked to do the repair work myself. Especially since Plessers put the grill together themselves. I am purchasing a new oven and refrigerator this year and will be going to PC Richards or Home Depot. I call Plessers and they point fingers at thermador (who is the worst). They set up appointments and cancel. They come to house with no tools or replacement parts. I call Plessers and Thermador and they both give lame excuses.They go through customer service people like water and they loose your file. Do yourself a favor. Don't buy if the item has to be shipped outside of NY. Our items shipped from Plessers and took 22 days to arrive. Furthermore, Plesser's shipping partner wouldn't respond to inquiries, and Plesser's provided little assistance. THEN, it got worse. When the shipping company finally arrived (at 9:45 PM), they didn't have a dolly. So all they claimed to be able to do was leave the refrigerator in our garage -- even though we paid extra to Plessers for "gold" installation. Plessers was of NO assistance in the matter. I recently ordered and received four Whirlpool kitchen appliances, ice maker kit, dishwasher kit, and three-wire range cord. ( I needed a four-wire however they would not refund me the money for the 3-wire.) I did a lot of research from Consumer Reports and other online sites. Gene was very patient and helpful and I placed the order. Never heard from him again (i.e. "any questions? satisfied with new appliances? Do you want me to check whether there are any rebate forms?") I asked Gene about rebate offers before purchasing appliances, called and emailed several times after and never heard from him. Couldn't you have given me the courtesy of a quick email? I was quoted a price and delivery charge for a microwave on Tuesday, then called back and got a separate quote and price for delivery charge for a dishwasher later that day. I called in Wednesday to order the microwave, and they refused to sell just the microwave, saying it was for "NY delivery only" and that it was intended to be sold outstate ONLY as a part of a package. The salesman, who claimed to be a supervisor, said it wasn't "fiscally good" to just sell and ship the microwave alone. Very rude, very unprofessional, and misleading. My kitchenAid refrigerator was shipped out ASAP as I explained to customer service, mine had died and was without a fridge. She called me back and was able to get mine out right away. So... We bought a Kitchenaid microwave / convection oven from Plessers. The STUPID thing hasn't worked since day 1. We have contacted Plessers several times asking for help. They just tell me to call Kitchenaid and their service is an absolute joke. We spent $10,000 on appliances and nobody cares now because they have been paid. DO NOT BUY KITCHENAID AND DO NOT BUY AT PLESSERS!!! My review of this appliance follows. This $2000 boat anchor hasn't worked since the day it was installed. We have now had 5 "Service Tech" visits to try to fix it with more in the future. Still not working. They have changed boards, HMI, wiring harness, switches and it STILL DOESNT WORK!!! I have spent hours of my time on the phone and babysitting these techs, and still it DOES NOT WORK!!! They have taken this thing completely apart and it STILL DOES NOT WORK!!! I spent over $10,000 on Kitchen(no)ade appliances in my kitchen remodel. You would think after a couple trips they would apologize that I got the lemon microwave and order a new one for me. I dont care that it will take 8 weeks, 12 weeks to get here. I'm tired of wasting my time on this! In summary, DO NOT BUY KITCHENADE! Their warranty is to slowly kill you with new parts and another 2, 3, 4 hours gone from my life. I've gotten as "high as this goes, sir" in calling Kitchenade BEGGING them to put an end to this. When I ask to go to the next level, the answer is "you will have to write a letter". Last I checked this was 2020, right? AND they dont even have a person, po box, or department to send it to!
