I ordered a KitchenAid stove. Plessers shipped it and then demanded more money two weeks after the initial order to deliver to the rural address. They claim "curbside" delivery only applies to urban areas despite saying nothing like this on their website. Buying kitchen appliances can be very difficult, particularly if you are looking for high-end/pro equipment since the prices can soar to painful levels. I went to two different stores in Los Angeles (that shall remain nameless) and the only appliances that I could see were very expensive and the choices limited but the worse part is that I never got the sense that the salesmen were trying to help me. I went onto Plessers.com and immediately had access to more choices than the local stores which allowed me to compare and narrow things down. That said, I was still torn. I called their store and their online sales rep (Michael Puppo) really gave me the sense of understanding what I was looking for (maximum quality for the most reasonable price). He found me a great deal and the appliances I got are 100% professional grade-- stuff to last a lifetime. I won't bore anyone with technical matters but one of the items in my order got mixed up then I exacerbated the situation by asking for the wrong replacement part. Because the initial mix up was caused by the manufacturer in the first place, Mr. Puppo and Service Manager Ms. Talbert stood by my side and corrected the problem, did it quickly and it did not cost me one dime. Honestly, it cannot get any better than that. I had my doubts about buying "big" items online, thinking that my online purchases should stick to smaller things I buy from Amazon. I was a little skeptical at first buying such an expensive piece of equipment online. After doing my research and talking to folks at Plesser's, however, I got more comfortable with the prospect and their good online ratings/reviews, along with the fact that their's was the lowest price I could find and there was no sales tax and a 10-year warranty plus free delivery were included at no additional cost really sealed the deal. In addition to being the best deal around, Plesser's commitment to customer service really saved me from a lot of future misery. You see, the thing is that my wife had a very specific model she wanted (Profile) and I, thinking to surprise her, ordered what I thought she would like better as it seemed to be a fancier model in the GE brand (Cafe). Fortunately she found out about my "surprise" and after some "discussion" (she discussed and I listened), we called Pleaser's and verified that my wife's thinking about the Profile model matching our other GE appliances better was correct (shocker, I know) and they were able to intercept my original order before it was out of their warehouse and switch it to the Profile model - and that was several days after I had ordered it, all without any additional charges for restocking; in fact I ended up saving quite a bit off of the original model and undoubtedly prevented years of me hearing "I told you so...". I we needed a new microwave after our 15 year old over range died. We called our usual repair of company and they agreed that my assessment of what was needed to be done was correct and that the port is no longer made so therefore they recommended replacement. They suggested two places for me to go to get a new one and it turns out plus there's was the place that we bought our old one and was one of the places they recommended. Our sales man Mohammed Aziz was very helpful showed us replacement options and we picked one out. Unfortunately due to the coronavirus that one is not available in Plessers Stock or at General Electric's either so we had to buy a slightly more expensive model as it was the only one available on short notice. I usually don't post but I saw some negative reviews on this company. I purchased a Microwave and a Dishwasher about 3 months ago that arrived on time and in good working condition. I just purchased a refrigerator. Both transactions were very smooth and delivered on time as promised. I have shopped around and find Plessers to offer good value. The delivery guys are very cooperative and call 30 minutes ahead when asked on a 4 hour delivery window. The customer service were helpful on the one time I contacted them. Yes. You are taking some additional risk purchasing on-line but the savings is worth it in my opinion based on the 2 transactions. 3 weeks is the shipping time. You don't like it? Buy somewhere else and pay extra money. Update 2/9/2016: I just ordered another new appliance. The appliance was delivered.They were not able to reach me but the delivery guy was flexible. My neighbor signed for the appliance. I couldn't find the rebate form so I needed to call customer service. Jeneen in customer service was very helpful in finding the rebate. We purchased a refrigerator from Plessers about 2 years ago. After about a year, the ice maker broke. Admittedly, I dragged my feet seeking warranty work -- somehow hoping I could independently identify the problem. After tinkering with fridge temperature, etc., I finally called Plessers. It was close to the end of my 2-year warranty, but I was certain I was OK. They first told me that the fridge was covered and that the work would be scheduled. They then called back 2 days later and told me that they had misread my purchase date. According to Plessers, I had missed my warranty period by 3 days. 3 days over on a 2-year warranty. I asked them to look again, because even though I had purchased the refrigerator in December of 2015, it wasn't delivered until the next month. They said they would look again, determine coverage, and call me back. They never did call back. I would recommend buying locally, paying your sales tax, and enabling yourself to look your dealer in the eye. These guys are waaaaaay too comfortable hanging up the phone and forgetting that customer service actually means something. You'll never get my money again, Plessers. So my wife and i were set to retire our old Sears Kenmore fridge after it became " long in the tooth " and also was becoming an annoyance at being too tight a fit. I had to remove the wall trim adjacent to it every time I wanted to pull it out to clean or repair. My fault; but annoying. So being both limited to a 30 " space and my wife wanting a stainless french door fridge, we settled on an LG. Great fridge, and 21.5 cu ft of storage - a home run for a fridge that width. We shopped around at the usual local merchants- higher priced, and high on the extended warranty; if we wanted it. I checked with Plessers after a recommendation from my buddy who did a lot of business with them. I dealt with John DeSenso, who was a true professional and very helpful from start to finish. The price was at least $ 100 less than anyone else without me pressing the issue; and their warranty refunds you half of it's cost is you don't need to use it the first 5 years. I ordered a range from Plessers that was listed as in stock, shipping within 2-3 weeks on Oct 30. It did not arrive until Dec 30. Their customer service dept called me a few days after my order, confirming that the unit was in stock and shipping out that week. As I'd now had two confirmations from Plessers about it being in stock, I scheduled my kitchen remodel demolition for three weeks out. Two weeks go by, I never get a shipment notification. I call Plessers and they say that the person that told me that the range was in stock was wrong, they don't have any but it'll be in stock and shipping out to me within a few days. They assured me they'd follow up with me by phone once it came in. I never hear from her again. Another two weeks go by, I'm now without a stove or oven since the other parts of my remodel needed to move along. I contact customer service again, to be told the range is still not in stock and they think maybe it'll ship early December but they don't know. It did not ship until Dec 19, and was not at my house until Dec 30. Don't waste your time or your money on Plesser's. I found other online appliance retailers that are perfectly happy to price-match Plesser's cheap prices, and they provide much better customer service and actually ship on time! read more

Purchased dishwasher from Plessers 4 years ago. They are great to sell you the product. Talked into the top kitchen aid model . It's the quietest and best ... famous last words. Once it's installed ...their responsibility and accountability ends. Look at the beautiful sheet rock screws they added to my molding... professional - huh! Has been nothing but issues since purchase . Call the store and they refer you to warranty company - no help whatsoever. Multiple misdiagnosis and days taken off from work to handle issues ; mind you this is the second warranty company I have had to deal with in 4 years. Why would they select such a company to work with? All I wanted it to do was wash dishes - is that an unreasonable ask? Now in November it started to run 12+ hours at a clip . There has to be recourse ... nope. Call store - no help . Call warranty company is their patent answer. Finally get someone one to come out... another day off work waiting and they look at it and say it's the same part they just replaced less than a year ago. Mind you this unit is used once a week at most. After complaining that this unit has had at least 10 repairs in 4 years - is this a Lemmon ? Is it worth fixing ? They say no we will give you $265 and we are not fixing it any more . Wow ! what did I pay for a 10 year warranty for? Lesson learned- Don't bother buying the high end appliance from them unless you are ok with no help when trying to get things fixed and dealing with subpar repairs and service. I am not computer savy so my grandson (who is very savy) worked on getting the rebate for me. After a few attempts he could not get the rebate to bring up my model range. We called Plesser's to help us work on getting us that rebate. Dozens of calls to our sales person, Gene, and Laurie in customer service, claiming they never got any of the messages.. our rebate offer expired. Did the place give me a good price. Yes. Did the place have a good selection. Yes. But they do not care about anything the second you pay for your items. You are no longer their problem and show zero interest in attempting to help you. At least pretend to care. My delivery from Plessers included a shattered stovetop and dented range hood, and unknowingly a beaten up refrigerator. After calling, the nice girl told me no problem they will redeliver new items In 3-4 weeks. Really. My 3 month, $5000 kitchen aid refrigerator stopped working On Sept 1. It took 4 phone calls and 7 days for someone to get back to me from me from Plessers who then so eloquently advised me " they aren't In the business of fixing or replacing refrigerators ... that's done through Whirlpool. " Really. After Plessers gave the service company the wrong item, serial number and name, I stopped calling Plessers for anything. I don't want to be insulting so I'm just going to leave it at ... I wasn't surprised after dealing with the same girl more than once. Whirlpool took 12 days for their first of three services before deciding to replace. I am at the end of my rope of trusting Plessers to deliver according to their arrangements. AM Home Delivery is just an automated call that does not give the buyer any customer support. Lori @Plessers promised my delivery on November 26th (Tuesday). I arranged my work schedule to be home for the delivery and installation. I have been more than patient with Plessers Appliance and AM HOME DELIVERY. Plessers and AM Home Delivery can't communicate with each other to arrange a simple home Delivery . I can only say that I stress that you should never buy from them and only buy local because the appliance delivery outside of Long Island is beyond their reach . I found other appliance stores that are local that are less expensive and can deliver in a day or two with installation I CAN ONLY STRESS THAT YOU SHOULD NEVER BUY FROM PLESSERS ! I am a contractor and am building a house. My local supplier said they could not be sure to get a particular cooktop in time. Plessers said they could. It arrived in the time they stated and the shipping box was in perfect shape, so I accepted it. But the box inside the box was trashed. It looked like it had been run over by a forklift. And the cooktop inside of that was trashed. Scratched, broken handle, bent, dinged-- you name it. It was likely that Plessers just processed the order and it was shipped by the manufacturer. Somebody in the warehouse just shipped out a damaged unit in a new box. I had to make several calls to Plessers to get a return authorization. I had to take pictures and follow up to get the authorization. I had to be around when UPS came to pick up the box. I would estimate it took 4-5 hours of work time to get all this done. I was out the money for over 6 weeks with two weeks shipping each way plus time for processing. Lesson learned? Never. NEVER. buy appliances over the internet or mail order. If things go well, fine. If things go badly, you are on your own and it will be a huge amount of work to get your money back read more

Each time the sales rep has been knowledgeable and helpful, the delivery/ installers careful and competent, and the prices have been the best I have seen in NY -- and I checked multiple places. I just had another great experience there with Lyndsey. I needed a new dishwasher quickly because the one I had was leaking. I have bought dishwashers in the past that I haven't liked, including a high-end Bosch, so now I know the features I want and don't want. I listed them for Lyndsey and she immediately made a couple of brand and model recommendations, told me which ones were in stock for immediate delivery, and could explain the differences between the two or three models that met my criteria. We are building a new house and found all of our appliances at Plesser's, the Kitchenaid fridge we wanted was no where to be found and was currently unavailable to even order for a back order date, but Plesser's had the fridge and they also had all the other kitchenaid appliances I wanted except for the range which is on back order until January. We worked with Gene and he was so great, he was very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to help me and help find solutions to the backorder date of our range that will work out great for us. The delivery came in the time we were given and that is where I can't give the 5 stars is because of the delivery. I was told by Gene that they would help me unpackage the appliances to make sure that everything looked great, Gene told me to not accept the delivery until all the appliances were inspected. They were not helpful at all and looked at me like I was an idiot for even asking to unpackage the appliances so I could inspect them, because once you sign, those appliances are yours and if they did have damage it will no longer be anyone's responsibility but yours. They roughly pulled out all the appliances and started unpacking them and just throwing all the packaging and cut boxes in my garage. We are storing the appliances in our garage until we are ready to install them in our new house and so after I inspected them I asked if they could help me put the boxes back on and move them back into the spots I needed them in, which again I was told to expect them to do that. They told me that none of this is required or their job and that I could either sign for the appliances or they could load them back on the truck if I didn't sign. I was home alone and they were very intimidating and not willing to help. I understand that Plesser's does not do the actual deliveries and that is contracted out, but I wish it had gone better. As far as working with Gene and Plesser's we had an excellent experience, and I am hoping that our Kitchenaid range is also a good process and that it comes when we were told it would. read more

I went to Presser's to buy a fridge after an absolutely horrible experience with AJ Madison (don't go there). Everything with Plesser's was great---the phone experience, the delivery guys and the installers. Everything was so customer service oriented that I almost fainted. They were polite, kept their word on all counts, arrived when they said they would and did a beautiful job installing the water line. AND cleaned up after themselves! The opposite of AJ Madison (whom I had to call the BBB to get some of my money back. I did. Don't go there). Do not recommend to use them if u are getting an item delivered. I had a horrible experience with their delivery service. They scheduled a delivery time and didn't even show up. I even called the day of delivery to make sure and they said that the delivery service would call 30 mins prior delivery. Confirmed delivery time passes, I call them to check status and they tell me the appliance didn't even get loaded for the day's delivery and was still sitting in the warehouse! DAY WASTED! Confirm another day to get delivery, and they finally show up at the last minute of delivery window. AM Trucking and Logistics is THE WORST. They bring in the appliance and leave a mess everywhere, didn't clean the boxes or wrapping and just left it all behind. I specifically added service from Plessers for them to clean up the items and they didn't even do it. They didn't even plug in the appliance because they said they don't do "installations"! What?
