Service was quick, but we didn't get a check-in until we were done eating. TV was on WNBA, so that was a bonus. When I received the check, the server put in 20% tip automatically, but you had the option to adjust to 18 or 25%. I like that you pay and print the receipt right at the table. Scott, the host or cashier at the door, was not the nicest, especially to his co workers after making a rude comment not only to them, but to me as well (about tipping) I was gonna tip regardless, you do not need to tell me a joke about it. Very disappointing experience. The manager (Bo) came by our table earlier asking if we were ok, which we brushed off and assumed it was about the uncomfortable heat in the building. Instead, it turned out he had assumed my friend had thrown up in the restroom and later used that as the reason to cut her off after just one beer..without confirming anything. When he addressed us, he showed no accountability or sincerity, offered no apology, and simply justified his assumption. He also mentioned our server wasn't comfortable serving us anymore, yet that same server later suggested we go to the bar for a drink. This was handled unprofessionally from start to finish and ruined our visit. Management should verify situations before making decisions and address guests with accountability and respect. UPDATE: Your reply is insincere and avoids accountability. Saying you "follow TABC guidelines" doesn't address how we were treated. If staff truly thought someone was drunk, why would the solution be to offer us the bar? And if it was that serious, why wasn't the person who actually threw up addressed instead of making false assumptions about us? This isn't about policy ...it's poor judgment, lack of professionalism, and guests being unfairly accused. A generic "hope to see you soon" is not resolution. Do not plan ahead, I hope you like melted Styrofoam with you food. Today was my daughters birthday and she requested Pluckers. I gathered everyone's request and started to enter an online order. I had built the order online with the shopping cart. When I was ready to place the online order less than an hour later, the shopping cart was empty. WTF. I had to rebuild the order, it was a PITA and of course I missed a couple items rebuilding the order. I'm not sure what the benefit is for clearing out a shopping cart that early. I picked up the order and when I Zgot home, I noticed some of the hot fried items where placed in Styrofoam containers without a paper liner, thus the food items melted into the Styrofoam. Yummy Styrofoam. Disappointed with the lack of food safety. You we'd think they know better than now. $ wasted. Also for the big order, 2 items were missed. We love Pluckers and were in the area so came to the grapevine location. We are pluckers members and go atleast a couple times a month- 10/10 do NOT recommend this location. You practically have to beg for service, and the manger walks around on his phone (if you do catch him looking up from his phone, he blankly stares at you). The other Pluckers we go to work as a team behind the bar, if they see someone needs something they step up- at this pluckers they all just kinda stand around and stare at you. We also told the waiter we were members at the beginning to make sure we got the points and she said she would input it at the end.. never did. Wait was 45 min but once we arrived and checked in we waited at most 3 min. First time trying chicken wings and it was BUSY on a Friday night! I recommend joining the yelp waitlist to help your place in line before you get there. Our wait ended up being about 35 minutes. I read several reviews that recommended the fried Mac and cheese and I am a Mac and cheese LOVER and I wasn't impressed by this appetizer at all, it didn't seem fried hard enough and the Mac tasted like Kraft or some very low quality Mac and cheese. the chicken wings had good flavor and our server was nice enough to help us pick but the wings were so dry and tough and almost impossible to eat. After a less than stellar experience with Pluckers in Arlington, I was a bit nervous trying another Pluckers location. I'm glad we did, however, because bother our food and service were great. I'd highly suggest forgoing the wings and trying out their other menu items, as they are reasonably priced and quite good. My parents and I tried three different salads and each of them were great. I did have a wing and was still just not that impressed. Bobby, our server, truly went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. Came to watch a couple games with my family & when my mom tried to order her 2nd beer, our server Ericka let her know (45+ min after we came back from the restroom) that she was cut off from ordering alcohol because someone threw up before we even walked in the restroom (someone was complaining about the stall as we were walking in) and they assumed it was my mother and/ or I because we were the last ones to leave the restroom. Not only did our server not make us aware of any of this immediately after this took place, but the manager (Bo) handled it poorly as well. They BOTH suggested we close out because the server was "not comfortable serving us anymore" and we could either have another server or sit at the bar to proceed ordering alcoholic beverages. I like the food here but the service at every pluckers location I've ever been to is terrible. It is very slow and nobody seems to care when something goes wrong. This time they didn't even bring our entire party's food out and after waiting 20 minutes for the rest of our food, we had them cancel the remaining orders. And it's very expensive for what you are getting. I'm pretty sure this is the last time I will eat at pluckers.
