After a less than stellar experience with Pluckers in Arlington, I was a bit nervous trying another Pluckers location. I'm glad we did, however, because bother our food and service were great. I'd highly suggest forgoing the wings and trying out their other menu items, as they are reasonably priced and quite good. My parents and I tried three different salads and each of them were great. I did have a wing and was still just not that impressed. Bobby, our server, truly went above and beyond to make our meal enjoyable. At no point did any of our drinks run empty and he was incredibly attentive! I'd be happy to return to this Pluckers location. read more

My wife and I came in at halftime of the longhorns game. We ate i had two beers, she had two margaritas. And as the game was going into overtime they denied us more drinks. Came to watch a couple games with my family & when my mom tried to order her 2nd beer, our server Ericka let her know (45+ min after we came back from the restroom) that she was cut off from ordering alcohol because someone threw up before we even walked in the restroom (someone was complaining about the stall as we were walking in) and they assumed it was my mother and/ or I because we were the last ones to leave the restroom. Not only did our server not make us aware of any of this immediately after this took place, but the manager (Bo) handled it poorly as well. They BOTH suggested we close out because the server was "not comfortable serving us anymore" and we could either have another server or sit at the bar to proceed ordering alcoholic beverages. I like the food here but the service at every pluckers location I've ever been to is terrible. It is very slow and nobody seems to care when something goes wrong. This time they didn't even bring our entire party's food out and after waiting 20 minutes for the rest of our food, we had them cancel the remaining orders. And it's very expensive for what you are getting. I'm pretty sure this is the last time I will eat at pluckers. I already tried to convince my party to not eat here because I knew it would be a slow and disappointing dinner and that was exactly what was delivered tonight. I visited this location on a sunday for dinner and joined the waitlist online which worked out perfectly since I didn't have to wait at all for a table. The service however, was very slow and inconsistent. I understand that they were very busy but we waited a while before somebody took our drink orders. We ordered only one 10 wing combo. The server said it shouldn't take long because it was only one order. We continued to wait for quite some time. We noticed that the table next to us was sat after us and got their order taken after us but still received their food and their check before us. We actually had 2 different servers which was odd as well. It seemed like they didn't have a good system of who was taking care of what tables. It was very hard to flag down our server and we ended up waiting a good chunk of time for our check too. In terms of the food, the wings are just as tasty as I remember them. We ended up getting the lemon pepper and bakers gold flavor. Both were delicious! I definitely recommend coming when it is less crowded as the service can be hit or miss. read more

I came here on a Tuesday around 4pm and there was no wait at all. We parked right in front and had absolutely great service even though they were in the middle of a shift change. Our server was VERY attentive and checked on us plenty of times making sure we were good and we were the food here is beefy fulfilling the appetizer sampler is a lot even for two people I was getting full pretty quickly by that appetizer alone. I never had fried macaroni before or fried pickles like that they're usually cut different so this was a nice change from the fried pickles I've had before at razoos... the vegan tenders were great and so was my vegan burger it's amazing how they can substitute any burger option with a meatless patty! I get Fire In The Hole sauce, has serranos and habanero peppers. ‍ Their fried pickles are the best because they're spears. Pluckers is a classic in Texas. You can't go wrong especially if you are starving on a monday night (all you can eat chicken wings night). While you can definitely find better wings else where, the variety that pluckers have is solid and their flavors are always consistent. Service is usually nice here, I have never had a bad experience. They will always come by and ask if you are doing okay, even the floor manager will check up on you too! Ambiance is definitely catered to a sports fan crowd with multitudes of screens showing any and all kinds of sorts while you enjoy your wings. I happened to be in the area and we had a party of 8 that needed dinner after the Christmas Movies exhibit at the Gaylord Texan nearby. I found Pluckers after doing some searching (on Yelp of course) for restaurants nearby that were still open after 9pm. This place was still super busy when we rolled in and it was about a 10 minute wait in order for them to clear up a table for us. We had to wait in the car as they were trying to keep the entrance clear of people so they could do temperatures and the social distancing between groups. My fault for not planning ahead and using the waitlist feature (duh). Even for a Monday night it was surprisingly full. Business must be good here. Knowing Pluckers as recommended by two people as an excellent wing joint, it did not disappoint. For appetizers we had fried pickles. I went ahead and opted for the 5 wing combo with fire in the hole as the spiciest sauce on the menu. It comes with your choice of waffle fries, chips, or tots. They were really generous with the sauce too (see pics). If you can eat 25 or more fiery wings you can end up on the wall of flame. I just didn't have it in me that night to devour that much. Rest assured this challenge is accepted and I will be back again in the future for that photo op. Service was excellent.
