I called in the morning. Within a few minutes of calling their main office, Gary, one of their service techs, called me back. He was able to come within an hour from when I spoke with him. He was punctual. He arrived when he said he would. He replaced my washing machine hook-up valves. The hot water valve was leaking. The cold water valve was not but was just as old. Very prompt and courteous service. I called late on a Saturday night when I saw all that sewage-y goodness backing up into a bathtub. I decided it wasn't worth a late Saturday night visit, but they told me they would come out the next morning. I got a call from a technician about 9:45, saying they would be there within 45 minutes, and they were prompt. They were done within about 1.5 hours, snaking, hydrojetting, and talking us through even pricier options, in a low-pressure way. Overall, very satisfied with everything. Got home from a long day of work at around 10 pm and the kitchen sink was filled with nasty sewage water that covered the whole kitchen floor. I Called many "24hr" plumbers but no one responded or if they did they were not available that late. I finally called Tony and explained to him the situation. He said he will come over as soon as he can he was at my place within 30min since I live far from Burbank. He came and fixed the faulty pipes and told me what I should to do next. He is very honest and he genuinely wants to help his clients. He even called me the next day to make sure everything was ok. I called Plumbing Boys regarding a mystery puddle in one of my flowerbeds as well as a couple of smaller issues. All in all I was very happy with the service. Everyone I dealt with was both professional and friendly. Tony kept in contact with regard to when I should expect them to arrive and called again after the service to make sure I was satisfied with the work. Reyes was knowledgeable and professional and explained everything clearly and in layman's terms (unlike other plumbers who have a tendency to overwhelm with plumber-speak). Reyes and his partner diagnosed and solved the problem efficiently, calling me outside to show me both the problem they discovered and then the work that they completed. All of the above was very much appreciated. The only constructive criticism I have is this: The price that I was quoted for each of the smaller jobs, while it may have been reasonable if they were coming all the way out just to do that one small job, seemed excessive given that they were already there to do a larger job and each of the smaller jobs took no more than a couple of minutes. I didn't take any stars away for this because Tony was pleasant about working with me when I called him about it. Still, it would have been nice if they had taken into consideration the multiple jobs that were being done on a single call when providing the initial quote. Overall I would recommend Plumbing Boys and will call them again when I need them. Oh, one more thing, I think a business line should always be answered with the name of the business, (e.g., "Plumbing Boys, this is xxxx"), so that the caller doesn't suffer that awkward moment of thinking they dialed the wrong number and having to say, "Oh, um, is this Plumbing Boys?". There was a small water spot in the guestroom but as days went by I noticed it was getting bigger. I read the many raving reviews that I decided to give this company a call. Everyone's review was spot on. Tony & his assistant was great. They were not only nice but also very professional. They took the time investigating where the leak might be coming from before going into the ceiling. Tony found the problem and repaired it. He went to OSH to get materials to repair the hole in the ceiling. After all that he gave me a great discount which helped, being that I'm a student. I would definitely use his company again if any other plumbing problems come up in the future. I would definitely refer him to my friends if they ever need a plumber. *************** I have to share more. After the leak was fixed, later that afternoon my upstairs toilet started to act up. I immediately contacted Tony. He was trying to find time, between jobs, to come check out the problem. I told him not to worry cuz I have another bathroom and I'll just turn off the water for that toilet & he can just come when he can. I knew he was backed up with jobs but some how he was able to squeeze some time in to stop by & look at the toilet. He fixed the problem. It's very rare in this time and age to find a company who truly values their customers. Who genuinely cares about their customers and don't see them as just another job to do. Fixed our ill-fitting kitchen sink pipes (which caused the P-trap itself to come loose and leak nasty water under the kitchen sink) by shortening the pipe coming out of the wall and re-fitting the P-trap. Weirdest thing just happened. Having an issue with one of the handles not working on our bathtub. Had used Plumbing Boys before, no idea if they overcharged or not; I wouldn't know, I just have to count on people being honest. The gentleman from Plumbing Boys that came and took a look at the tub found that the extension for the handle was stripped or somehow broken. Said it would be $150 to fix. Okay. He went to a store to try and find the piece. He came back and said they didn't have it. Explained a way to possibly temporarily fix it on my own and then left. He charged me... wait for it... nothing. I even offered him some cash which he wouldn't accept. I didn't know that happened anymore. If it was a trick to keep our business, it worked. His plumber, Sean, called me in the morning and said he'd be to my house in an hour. Sean showed up right on time; he was knowledgeable, explained everything in detail and was very friendly.
