Plus, he follows up to make sure everything gets done right and I'm happy. The Plumbing Boys plumbers are always courteous and respectful of me, my time, and my home - they and give me notice when they're on the way, do their best to control the mess, and clean up thoroughly when they're done - plus they're usually just cool people and fun to talk to while they do their thing. We've had some plumbing catastrophes recently (old pipes) and had great experiences with Levon and Josh. I had the kitchen sink line snaked by a handyman/plumber type in a rental house in Burbank. It was apparent right after the guy left that he didn't handle the situation because again the sink filled with water. I decided I would try someone different. I went to trusty Yelp and looked for a 5 star plumber. look at it. I decided to call Plumbing Boys. Tony answered and said he could have someone right over to give an estimate. He sent Adam who told my tenant, without doing anything, that there is sludge in the line and that the only thing that would handle it would be to put in a clean-out and hydro-jet the line. When asked what that would cost, he told me $875.00 and it would take a few hours. Ouch! Adam spoke with me on the phone and said that anyone else who came to look at it would say the same thing...and that the line had not been properly maintained if we hadn't cleaned it yearly. Because I knew my tenants were not the type to dump grease and oil into the drain which could produce sludge, I decided I better get another opinion. The next plumber who came seemed to have no problem snaking the line and said there was no "sludge" and that it didn't need a clean out or to be hydro-jetted. read more

Not a fan. They came out promptly and inspected our situation- gave an estimate of 19k for a job. Two other contractors bid thousands under AND said that there were better, cheaper alternatives. Always get a second opinion! On the plus side, they were prompt and courteous. read more

Well, unfortunately I did not receive services from this establishment, so they may indeed be good (I saw the yelp ratings) however, their advertisement stated "free quotes/estimates. When I told the "owner" (I guess) what my plumbing issue was, he said that estimates are only free if the technician can immediately visually see the problem but if they need to go under the house, then it is NOT free. Well, this was a plumbing issue, so of course the plumbing is under the house! Their ad was deceptive, so I decided against them. Afterward (after my initial call) they proceeded to call me non-stop, using different phone numbers, simply to harass me. They don't know yet but I will be contacting the police if the harassment continues (they are calling me now while I am typing this). read more

Funny thing! My house reeked of a fowl small and I was sure that a water leak somewhere caused mold on my drywall's. Two guys came out from plumber Guys checked all my plumbing. They told me the good news and the bad news. It turned out my Plumbing was fine but the smell was from my nasty cat spraying all over my designer rugs and carpet. I was convinced by the high ratings with multiple yelpers that this was the place to try for my clogged drain needs. I was not disappointed as Sam (one of the Family in this family owned business) came to unclog my shower drain. He quickly evaluated wheather this was a local or full house problem...it was local. He proceeded to snake out the drain, at about 25 feet of snake penetration(even my home depot, drill snake system couldn't have reached it). The sludge in my shower finally drained. I asked for a more permanent solution rather than just poke a hole in the sludge, and he offered a high pressure flush (at more cost, but a longer term solution for my ageing cast iron pipes). He said he would try, but if he couldn't round the corner, he wouldn't charge me. He managed to round the corner and get it cleared. While he let it blast away at the grunge in the pipe, he pulled off the ubend on a bathroom sink that was slow draining and cleared it out and ran a snake up the pipe to clear it even further at no additional charge. He is sensitive to hair and grease and almost lost his lunch, but went out to the truck and got a mask and pressed on (a real trooper). He continually cleaned up after himself, was considerate and knowledgeable. A great experience, I can see why their rating is so consistently high. read more

All I wanted to do was install a new shower filter between the arm and my handheld. I've been losing so much hair due to the hard water we have here. I loosened it a little but now the shower handheld fixture wouldn't tighten or loosen and was stuck to the shower arm and spraying water all over the place when trying to use. these guys very literally saved my life. i had a huge gas leak in my main line that SoCal gas was unable to locate -- so the SoCal guy capped my gas meter and went on his way. triple S plumbing arrived less than an hour later (a recommendation from my excellent real estate agent) and identified the leak within minutes, then performed a 14-hour emergency surgery on my house almost immediately thereafter. without getting into too much detail, if the guys from triple S hadn't come and run their diagnostics on the gas leak, and fixed the problem, my house would have gone up in flames. read more

Tony's number came to me through a referral and I'm usually very skeptical about those. I truly can't say enough about how wonderful these guys were. For Starters, I called them around 2pm and he was able to get out there that same day and start the work (my main water line had blown and I needed a new one). He not only beat out everyone else's price, he didn't skimp on the customer service. Before I knew it, the yard was trenched and these guys were getting it done. I lost count, but he fixed numerous things along the way that he really didn't have to, but did because he takes so much pride in his work. His attention to detail and not just mickey mousing a job is noticed immediately. You can't even tell that any work was done in my front yard. They hosed everything down and put the lawn back just like it was before. I'm seriously so excited to have found a great plumber, I feel like I had to share. Tony and his crew at Plumbing Boys are fantastic. Two months ago, we hired Plumbing Boys to conduct a plumbing inspection on an investment property we were going to purchase. Tony's inspector showed up on time and did a thorough job of checking both units' main sewer lines. At the end of his inspection, he provided us the sewer scopes on a thumb drive. After having to hound other plumbing companies to send us a link to inspections on other properties, it was refreshing to receive the video right there and then. The morning after our inspection, Tony also called to see how things went. It's rare to get follow-up calls from service providers these days, but we could tell that Tony cares a lot about providing great service to all of his customers. Last weekend, we experienced his impeccable customer service once again when the hot water heater died in our residential home. On Saturday afternoon, we realized there was no hot water and our water heater was leaking. Having had problems like this on weekends before, I'm accustomed to plumbers in LA either not answering the phone or saying they'll come fix the problem on Monday. Since we'd been impressed with Plumbing Boys at the other property's inspection, I called Tony, expecting to get an answering service, but he picked up on the second ring! From our description of the situation, Tony assessed the water heater was gone and said he could have someone on his crew pick up a new one and replace it later that day. His quote for the heater and labor was completely reasonable for a weekend job, too - especially considering that he had to ask a shop owner to reopen his store to get the new unit for us. A few hours later, one of his guys showed up with a new, higher-quality water heater and we had hot water running from our faucets within two hours! And once again, Tony called on Sunday morning to make sure everything went well and our water heater was working properly. I can't emphasize enough how great this company is. We woke up on a Saturday morning without hot water. After trying and failing to re-start the pilot light on our hot water tank, we started calling plumbers and repair services all around Los Angeles without much luck finding anyone answering the phone, or willing to come out on a Saturday, or who serviced our brand of tank. We came across the Plumbing Boys on Yelp and after reading many positive reviews, we decided to give them a call. Tony answered my call at 3:30 PM, confirmed they worked on weekends, heard the situation, and suggested some solutions. Then a technician, Gary, was at my house by 4:45 PM. After reviewing the situation he said "you may need a new water heater, but let me see if fixing this part will do it." He went to work and the hot water heater was fixed by 5:30 without having to replace the tank. Gary was polite and professional and did an excellent job at offering potential solutions and pricing before commencing work.
