So according to him, it would be best to either redo the shower or we would have to use a bigger plate than the one that came with our shower valve to cover the big hole in the front in order to make space to work on the valve. Even though in the end we didn't touch the shower, it was mainly because of Ruslan's detailed explanation of what the work would entail.

I spoke with Ruben and he was able to send some guys the same day with an early arrival window as well. I called him back to see what time they would arrive to see if I could take care of an errand first. I was able to do that and his crew came at the time they estimated which is amazing! I didn't have to wait long. Sean and Adrian came to help with my plumbing issue, when I told them, they already knew. They snaked the main drain. It was so clogged and they even rinsed the driveway from all the debris that came out which is much appreciated. We tested it after and they even let me know how the drain should sound so I knew it was working properly. They had me check all the faucets, showers etc to make sure there was no issue before they left. So happy with how quick they were and addressed the issue right away. I sent Doug a message on Yelp, and he responded quickly with what turned out to be the correct diagnosis: biofilm buildup in the sink's overflow area. Even more impressive, he told me it was something I could probably fix myself. He offered to talk with me by phone and patiently explained what was going on, which I really appreciated because I honestly didn't even understand how that part of the sink worked. In the end, I was able to fix the problem myself with a flexible brush and a little bleach- less than $10 total. Doug could easily have come out and charged me, but instead he gave me honest, expert advice and helped me avoid a huge unnecessary expense. That kind of integrity is rare, and I'll absolutely be calling him first for any plumbing issues in the future.

The following week after the repair, a staff member noticed the kitchen sink near the repair area had very low water pressure. Since our office has limited in-person use, I followed up the next week once I was able to review the issue. I also had not received the invoice, even though my business card was provided onsite. When I spoke with the owner, the invoice was sent that evening, and I was told they would call the following week to schedule a time to look at the pressure issue. That follow-up call never happened. I later called and sent a detailed text with my availability to meet onsite, but received no response. Due to the lack of follow-up, we are moving forward with another plumber to assess and resolve the issue. In a commercial setting, timely communication and reliability are critical, and unfortunately this experience did not meet that expectation.
