Crazy too think this place is right down the street from me and I've never even noticed it. I love a good brunch spot, and will go anywhere to find some good chilaquiles. This place is different. Quick service but table setting as well you order before getting to your table. After I was finished eating I kinda felt like I wanted something else but I would have to go up instead of just asking my waiter to put in something else for me. The food was good, the chilaquiles verdes needed a tiny bit of spice tho, there pickled onions were good that I asked for an extra side to give it a little more tang since it needed something. I'd come here again and try more things on the menu. Everyone seems super helpful and good helping staff. I give it a solid 4.5. The vibe is super chill and comfy. Gave me time to read my bible while I was eating.

It was my first visit here since it was nearby my place. It was a quick service brunch imo as we walk in ordered and the host tells you what number table to sit at. The restaurant was pretty crowded at 11am still. But I tried the classic Benedict, pancakes (plain) with sausages and a blueberry matcha. Everything tasted fresh and not too greasy and salty which is what prefer nowadays! The jalapeno hot sauce was great and the restaurant was nice and cute with a patio area. There was a bit of a wait at noon so I suggest coming shopper early.

Read reviews hoping for a better experience. Ordered classic breakfast and a burrito. Eggs ordered over medium, definitely not. Super runny and undercooked. Only offer soft drinks in bottles. Food came out barely warm. Fruit was the best item. Clean, friendly staff. No check in, or ask how meal is going.

I love coming here. There are both indoor and outdoor patio seating. It's clean and servers are friendly and attentive. We were a party of 10 and they offered to take our orders at the table instead of ordering at the counter. The server was also willing to do individual checks! That was really accommodating. There is a wide selection of menu items. It's been fun to try something different each time. My Short Rib Omelette was very tasty and flavorful. It was a good sized meal. I couldn't even finish it. My iced lavender latte was perfect. It hit the spot. A great place for brunch but make sure you come early. It gets crowded.

This is a nice restaurant at the end of a strip mall setting. It has plenty of parking, easy to get to. Has an outdoor seating area attached with a nice open feel to it. It is a walk up to order place. The service was fine. The food good. I had the breakfast tacos and the garnish was fresh and the tomatillo sauce flavorful. It was average on cost about 20$ per order with a coffee. I like sit down dining with more service. It was clean and the staff was friendly and attentive.

Came here by a friend's recommendation as my husband and I were meeting up with them. For what it's worth, I like the ordering system where you go up to the counter to order before finding a seat since it made it much easier to split our bill. For the price, they give you a good amount of food. I got the egg scramble with ham and cheddar cheese. It came with toast (my husband picked sourdough for me) that was buttered and had a bit of jam on the side. It also had hash browns. The food was delicious and filling. My husband got a breakfast burrito in which he forgot sometimes he isn't a fan of them because they overload with potatoes, but he said he really enjoyed this one. Considering I'm also pregnant in my first trimester, I was so glad they had milk to help with my calcium intake. All in all, I would definitely come back here given the chance. (I'm from the Bay Area in Northern California so visiting regularly isn't quite feasible.)

Fast casual brunch spot with pretty good food and service. Parking is easy if you utilize the BevMo side of the plaza. Nice patio seating where you can bring your dog Food/Drink- 4.5 stars Everything was pretty solid. Food was excellent. Drinks were fresh -pork chop with pomegranate sauce- pretty good and you can taste the higher quality of ingredients. Cooked perfectly -pancakes with ricotta and blueberries- this was good, but it would've been better if they mixed the ricotta into the batter -strawberry lemonade- freshly squeezed, delicious and not too sweet -matcha strawberry latte- this was ok. It tasted like the Costco matcha powder with strawberry jam thrown in Service- 4.5 stars Food came out pretty quickly. They did seem a bit understaffed at the tables, as you had to fetch a server for any drinks. And there were a good amount of tables that were unavailable since there weren't enough bussers to clean out the tables to accommodate the weekend rush Bottom Line Really solid brunch spot that I'll be visiting on the regular

This is a casual brunch spot where you order at the counter and grab your own seat. It gets pretty busy, so definitely try to come early. Breakfast Burrito - Even though I'm not usually a burrito person, this one surprised me in a good way. It was packed with flavor and had everything you'd want in a solid breakfast bite: chorizo, sausage, bacon, eggs, tomato pico, hash browns, white cheddar, aioli, and salsa roja. Really satisfying. Chilaquiles Verde - This was my first time trying chilaquiles, and unfortunately it just wasn't for me. The sauce leaned too sour, and the chips were already soggy. In hindsight, I probably should've asked for the sauce on the side so the chips could've stayed crunchy. Omelette - Simple but good. The bread that came with it wasn't crispy which loses some points. Tuna Melt - Tasty overall, though a bit greasy. Definitely very filling. Overall, a solid brunch spot with some hits and a few misses depending on what you order.

I have finally made it to Poached. I've heard good things about this place but for me it didn't live up to the hype. I'm a type of person who doesn't like to go to restaurants where I can make better food at home, but I really wanted to give this place a try. Me and my husband went here on New Year's Eve and the place was very busy. We came here for lunchtime and when we got there, we were greeted right away and they told us where to sit. We ordered the chicken and waffles and the Smashburger and fries. The fried chicken was too dry. However, the waffles were really good. The Smashburger was just OK too. I honestly thought that the cheese had a weird texture, almost like plastic. The fries were just OK too, it wasn't anything special. I came here again. I wouldn't get this for sure. I really like that they had the sink outside so you can wash your hands and not have to wait for the restroom. Overall, this is a cute place and I might come back if the hubs want to.

I had an excellent breakfast here with my wife yesterday. We went on a weekday, so please consider that for this review! Pros: + Food came out fast! + They offer salad as a side instead of hash browns with no up charge. That alone is HIGHKEY! + Parking was easy + Service on the floor was friendly and attentive +Indoor and outdoor seating + Portion size was great for the scrambles and accommodations can be made for food sensitivities + Easy to eat here if on Keto + Fresh fruit was really good Cons: - It's a walk up to order counter. This is a personal con, you might like that option, but I would rather be served and have a second to sit down at a table and look at the menu. - Seating was not that comfortable unless you were on a padded chair inside. My wife is pregnant so she's sensitive to comfort lately. Booths inside and outside are wooden, and outside the chairs are metal (which makes sense weather/ware-wise, just not comfort-wise). - The guy at the order counter was obviously new. Not a "con" necessarily, but overall didn't give us the above-and-beyond experience that would lend itself to a 5-star review. Asking for our toast "dark and dry" seemed to really throw him off. Overall, we would come back. Great for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. Good for solo meals or groups.

We've been here a couple of times. Service is quick as you order and go find a seat. The restaurant is big and bright. I've loved everything I've had each time. This time I had the lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes. So so good!!

    Peach Cobbler Waffles
    Zack M.

It's pricey but the food is amazing. I had the Birria Burrito and my wife had the Peach Cobbler Waffles. Both were GREAT. The service was good and fast. You pay upfront so you don't have to be pestered by a server every 30 seconds which I prefer.

Smash burger and fries -- both were only OK
    Patrick ..

Bottom Line Up Front: Poached Kitchen has everything you would want in a cool breakfast spot, from the menu and decor to the service and aesthetics -- everything except the delicious food. The Food: Let me explain. It's not bad. But it's not as delicious as I had hoped, given the premium prices. My wife and I ordered the chicken and waffles, smash burger with fries, and a side of bacon. The chicken was lightly breaded when I prefer it to be crispy while the meat was pretty dry. It was average at best. My wife's burger was OK; again, not bad but nothing to write home about. The fries lacked the seasoning and crispness that I expect from an American-style diner. Sadly, the bacon wasn't crispy at all and a little on the chewy side. The only thing that was genuinely delicious was the waffles -- light, airy, and just a hint of sweetness. The Service: The entire staff was fast, friendly, and knowledgeable. Excellent training by the management. The Overvalued Setup: Another reason for my good-but-not-great rating is that this is a fast-casual restaurant. You walk up and order at the front counter like a fast-food joint but you wait to be seated and they bring the dishes out to you. However, you don't get a dedicated server so no one will attend to you and you'll need to flag someone down for help. Nothing wrong with that, per se ... except that the meal prices are as high as sit-down full-service restaurants. The Location: It's located at the corner of Imperial Highway and Santa Ana Canyon Road, tucked inside a shopping complex with a poorly designed parking lot. (It's beside the Bev Mo.) Parking can be difficult to find during peak hours. Inside, the place is clean and well organized, with comfortable chairs. The bathroom has a shared sink space in the open, while individual toilets are behind fully closed doors. That's a convenient set up if you just want to wash your hands. The Conclusion: I really wanted to love this place but was disappointed by the average-tasting food sold for above average prices in a fast-casual setting -- definitely less bang for the buck. Will I try it again? Possibly, to try the other menu items in hopes this was just an off day for the cook.

I'd honestly come back just for that. The location is super convenient with plenty of parking out front, right next to Ralphs. The service was great too. The staff was so sweet, and both my drink and food came out really fast. The café itself was clean, had plenty of seating, and seemed like a great spot to hang out or get some work done. There was even a group working on their laptops while I was there. Definitely worth checking out!

I've tried to like their drinks on several separate occasions, however, I've been disappointed each time. Their iced teas made from loose leaf are incredibly watered down. Additionally, the service is lacking. My husband ordered a drink that he did not end up liking. He returned to the counter and asked if he could order something else, and they charged full price. In principle, this is understandable, but in practice, the customer service felt very lacking. Typically nicer coffee shops that we have gone to have been more than happy to replace a drink if it was not what we expected. I understand their policy, but do think that they lost a chance to provide exceptional customer service, and thus lost us as customers. We won't be returning here, unfortunately.

I completely forgot to take pictures of the sandwiches because I was really hungry. I got the RB Melt, which was really good. All of their sandwiches come on a bagel, and they're a little bigger than a traditional bagel. You get to choose from different bagel options, and they I went with the Asiago since the lady at the register told me it was the most popular one. We also got the Egg Sandwich and the Powerhouse. I didn't try those myself, but my friends said they were really good. The place itself is pretty small but cute. They have a green wall with their logo that would be cute for pictures, and there are probably only 4-5 tables inside. We got everything to go and took it to Yorba Linda Regional Park for a picnic. I also tried the vanilla iced coffee. It was good, although personally I'd probably get my coffee somewhere else. But as a one-stop place for sandwiches and coffee, it works! The lady at the front was really nice and had a great attitude toward customer service. Prices were pretty reasonable too, I paid around $54 for 3 sandwiches and 3 coffees. Overall, I'd definitely come back for the sandwiches!

The atmosphere is nice and relaxed with nice wall art and clean displays. I ordered a Richie sandwich, Vanilly iced coffee, and the ginger lemongrass tea! Sandwich was delicious, nice blend of flavors savory with a nice tangy taste from the pickles. Added hot sauce and bang its a winner for sure. The vanilly coffee is light and does the job, I can see why its a customer favorite. But the ginger lemongrass tea was the total winner for me. Maybe it was the hot day but sipping that drink was giving ultimate poolside drink vibes! 10/10 drink! Overall great staff great food great drinks!

It looks clean and spacious enough for a small scale tea shop. There are a-la-carte menu items (pastries, tea) and an afternoon tea menu. Price: $45 for the Royal Tea Experience package which is extremely reasonable considering what you get. There is a 90 mins max for each tea experience. They are pretty booked from what I saw. Food: For the Royal Tea Experience, each of us got: tea of choice, 5 tea sandwiches (Cucumber Dill Cream cheese, Chicken Salad, Egg Salad, Cranberry Turkey pinwheel, Roast Beed Arugula), 2 scones (Vanilla and Strawberry), Cream, Strawberry preserve, berries and some grapes, 3 desserts (mini muffin, Chocolate brownie, some kind of mini cake). The tea pots were a lot smaller than other places I've been to (probably enough for 1.5 cups of tea if filled to the rim). I love the heart-shaped sugar cubes, the size is just enough for a half teaspoon of sugar. They didn't have any milk for the tea set up like other places I've been to. I love the roast beef sandwich balanced flavor; the chicken one is really bland, a dash of curry powder would enhance the flavor more in my opinion; the cucumber needs to be sliced thinner as these slices are rather chunky; the scones are fine - I usually prefer my scones warm but only 1 place I know that serve it that way. The tea selection is decent, I went for Jasmine Rose. I feel that the scent and tea flavor was rather weak. There was barely any scent of each so it didn't leave a big impression on me. I want to try other ones in the future for sure. The staff was super nice to offer an extra tea bag if the flavor is too weak so I went for another bag. Service: Excellent! They were fast, courteous, and friendly. 2 staff made their rounds frequently to check on us and made sure we had enough hot water in our tea pots . Parking: This is where I docked up a star. The parking lot is shared with many businesses in the same strip mall. I came here at 10 AM on a Saturday and the whole parking lot was filled, there was no spot for me to park. My friend had to park all the way on the other side of the mall and I managed to find some parking in the back (side street). Avoid lunch time at all cost, there were cars waiting around as they couldn't find any parking. After the tea experience, we went somewhere else and upon coming back around 3 PM, half the parking lot is empty. If I would give anyone a tip on the parking time, it seems to be ideal around this time.

We really enjoyed the live acoustic music, and the wine selection was great. The only thing that took away from the experience wasn't the venue at all, it was a few guests who were talking and laughing so loudly throughout the performance that it was difficult to hear and fully enjoy the music. It was disappointing because the artist deserved a more attentive audience. Other than that, everything was fantastic. The ambiance, the wine, and the live music made for a great night out. I'd definitely recommend Biaani, especially if you're looking for a cozy spot to unwind. Hopefully, future guests will be a little more mindful during the performances so everyone can enjoy the music.
