Seems more outside under the awning than inside. One thing I noticed was that the food comes out QUICK. You put ur name in, then get in line to order. When u reach ur table the food came out. The positives first: the hollandaise was spot on -- creamy, tangy, and rich without being heavy -- and the hashbrowns were excellent, crispy and golden on the outside with a fluffy middle. The salmon, though, was a letdown. It was so intensely smoky and salty that it overpowered the eggs and hollandaise rather than balancing with them. On top of that, I found a large fish bone in my portion, which made it tough to enjoy and hard to eat with confidence. Overall, I'd come back for the hashbrowns and maybe try a different Benedict, but I wouldn't order the salmon again. Nice ambiance. What a great find! This place seems like a great breakfast brunch place! You can tell it' will be a busy place during the weekend. It has a nice outdoor setting and have windows that can be opened up to the outside leaving a nice breeze! Place seems very clean. You order first, and then go sit down. The red flag here is that ask for a tip before the service they give you. They do come serve your food but they don't come as often around to get our refills. After we were done eating, they stopped coming around, and we wanted our drinks refilled since we paid for them to be endless (coffee and peach ice tea). I ordered the chilaquiles rojo and the breakfast burrito. The chilaquiles was good, didn't add any protein and it was a good portion size. My photography skills don't capture it, but this might have been the most picture perfect classic breakfast I've ever been served. It can't be an easy feat to make this plate with no greens or color to look pretty, but somehow they did. The sunny side up eggs were perfect, the hash browns were perfect, it was all pretty perfect...looking and tasting. And orange juice was fresh squeezed sunshine (I do wish though that it was served in a sparkling juice glass rather than the totally unnecessary single-use plastic cup). I also really appreciate that they offer chicken sausage as an option for those of us who don't consume pork. The patio was tidy and sparkly, which did not go unnoticed by me! Super appreciate. I only wish that they offered table service that includes a server who takes your order at the table, and who reliably provides a stream of coffee refills. Instead you order at the counter and get a number on a stick, and hope that someone walking by could kindly do you a favor; I prefer an assigned server to be more invested in tending to your needs. Ultimately, I love that they: use higher quality ingredients (Vital Farms and Mary's free-range chicken), offer a thoughtful menu, care about presentation, and prioritize cleanliness. We were looking for a new brunch spot and I think we found a new hit. This place was a little out of the way but well worth it. The service here was very nice and welcoming they let us sit down to have time to explore the menu because it was our first time there. We ordered the birria Benedict, chicken and waffles, and a classic waffle as well the Benedict was very good and the heat and spicy from the meat complemented the Hollandaise very well it's was punchy and had a nice balance. The chicken and waffles were also very good with a sweet syrup and savory gravy to go with it also but waffles were light and crunchy. Both were sweet but not overpowering. I think everything was just right and close to perfect I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to go for brunch. read more

I've visited this location twice already and I must say I'm a fan. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon. It was crowded and we had to waitlist. My second visit was on a random weekday morning. I have to say I prefer dining here during the week. It's less hectic and more of a relaxing vibe. It's a place where you order the food at the cashier and they bring food to you with minimal service. The interior was small but they also offer outside seating. I had the veggie scramble and the morning scramble. Both were really good! They have a way of making magic with simple ingredients. The food came out way better than the menu described it. Oh and I tried their pancakes. It was perfection - not runny in the middle or overcooked and dry. Their coffee was pretty good too. My first visit to this up-and-coming chain did not meet with expectations. The eggs benedict was lackluster, especially the sauce (which was so minimal at first that we had to request more). The absence of fountain sodas is a huge issue for me at breakfast time, so I deducted one star for that reason (especially as the person taking our order hated being asked about their drink options). I also didn't appreciate the fries coming out ice cold, and likewise we had to unfortunately request hot fries. It wasn't busy, maybe 10% of the restaurant (including the outside) was occupied. Just wasn't what we were looking for. However there is room for improvement, and I'd consider a second visit in the future. read more

Three stars. I really wanted to love this place because the food was honestly delicious, and the orange juice was to die for. That part was amazing. But the service completely ruined the experience. When we walked in, the lady at the front barely said anything and just told us to sit at table one. She didn't show us where it was or explain how anything worked. We were left wandering around trying to figure it out, and she seemed annoyed when we asked questions. After we finally sat down, we waited for about 15 minutes, thinking someone would come take our order. No one did. We just sat there feeling awkward and confused until we finally went up to ask, and only then were we told that we were supposed to order at the front the whole time. It made us feel really embarrassed, like we were doing something wrong when no one had explained it to us. Was a challenge and a wait to request to go boxes at the end of our meal. Water in those sleek glass bottles was brought very fast. Food was brought fairly quick also. My cobb salad was delicious and unique. The salad greens were already dressed with what tasted more balsamic like than typical ranch dressing served with cobb salad. Nice touch. The boiled egg had a soft runny yolk. I'm not a fan of those. Didn't really have a dish to put it in so just kinda pushed it around the large bowl as I ate the generous portion of salad. Daughter enjoyed the classic breakfast. Said the hash browns, bacon, and eggs were tasty. I wish I'd heard the cashier over the noise in the restaurant because I asked if the pear lemonade was pink or yellow because I don't care for pink lemonade. She must've said "it's pink", but I mistakenly heard "it's pear" lol. So, I was shocked when the pick lemonade arrived, but while I didn't enjoy it, it wasn't the worst pink lemonade I've ever had. I usually love hash browns but these were more like potato cakes-super soft and mushy on the inside and a little crunchy on the outside...I am not a fan because for me hash browns should be crispy. Nice brunch place, too bad we couldn't make a reservation but I guess that's true for many brunch places. So we just tried to come later, put our name down and walked around the plaza for steps. As we finished our lap about 15 minutes we were able to get seated. We have to order the food at the counter first before we get seated, so that may be one of the downside we didn't really like. The menu was big, and on a Sunday I kinda want to take my time looking at the menu sitting down instead of feeling rushed to order right away at the counter. I wished I had known this before so I could have used the 15 minutes walking and waiting time to look at the menu and decide what I wanna order. So just a suggestion, while you wait, check out the menu first so as soon as your name is called they walk you in to the counter and you will have to order right away. Otherwise, food was great and nice big portion. Omelet was flavorful, they made the orange juice on site so very fresh. read more

This has been our "go to" breakfast spot since it opened. Not sure what's going on with it, but something has changed. We went back for breakfast and selected the salmon Benedict and the chile verde benedict. Both with hash browns. Poached always had the best hash browns. Seasoned and crispy. Unfortunately, they've changed to hash browns that were bland and unseasoned. They were just "meh". My Chile verde Benedict was excellent, full of flavor, some spice, nice chunks of tender pork and poached eggs cooked perfectly. My wife's salmon Benedict wasn't as good as we had previously at Poached. They may have changed the salmon used as she reported that the salmon wasn't as Smokey and flavorful as we'd remembered. Also the poached eggs were not the "medium" requested as parts of the whites were a bit runny. All in all a good breakfast but a bit concerning in these new degradations. Staff is very friendly and I appreciate that they check on you a good amount of times during your meal. I love the food here that it's consistent with their Irvine location. Chilaquiles rojos is my go to meal 11/10 stars! I love that it comes with toppings such as avocado, radishes, cilantro, and cotija cheese. The blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes are a good amount of sweetness which is balanced well with the citrus of the lemon. I love their Dulce de leche coffee. The only little thing I would say that the size is quite small if you get it to go. My bf loves any of the egg benedicts from here as well. The place is gorgeous inside with a large outdoor patio. We ordered a Breakfast Burrito and Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Cakes. The burrito was delicious and hearty. I love the serrano aioli in the burrito and the salsa roja that came with it. The Blueberry Lemon Ricotta Cakes were surprisingly light and airy. I'd never had ricotta in pancakes before so I was curious how these would be and they were pleasantly delicious. For drinks, my boyfriend got a strawberry matcha and I got orange juice. The OJ was definitely fresh squeezed. My bf said the strawberry matcha was good, but the matcha quality wasn't the best. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal.
