I love the Sangria! My friends and I usually get several of the same things. My favorites are the hummus, fatoosh salad, tabbouli, spinach & artichoke pizza and we almost always get a side of feta and olives. I would recommend getting the pizza lightly done as otherwise its overdone and too crunchy for my liking. Overall everything I have had was always good. read more

Went here to eat a couple weeks back, and have nothing but good things to say about this place. The food is kinda pricy, but it's really worth it. The typical way to order is to get an appetizer or two, then an entree that you can share with the entire table. At least that's what me and my girlfriend did. We were blown away by the quality of the food. The hummus is the best I've ever had, and the greek salad is definitely the best I've ever had. However I was not warned that the olives still had the seeds inside and nearly broke my tooth. This eatery is well worth the money spent. read more

Holy cow, if I could give this place more than 5 stars I would; it is just that great. I first went for dinner with some friends in December. I got a couple of different things and they got a few different things and we all shared. Which is my favorite way of eating out. One of the dishes I got was Mujadara which I'd never had. Oh my gosh was it delicious. It's a dish of lentils, rice, onions and pickles. The pickles in my opinion are what make this dish so divine. It would be good without them but they really elevate the dish. The next time I was in Perrysburg I ordered takeout and also got the falafel salad. While not up to the Mujadara level it was still really, really good. I got takeout yet again this last time I was in Perrysburg. I will do the same the next time I'm there. I enjoyed my last visit. We ordered the blue lump crab cakes, the hummus, a shrimp dish and the chocolate burle for dessert. Everything was very tasty. I especially enjoyed the freshly baked pita bread that came with the hummus. Our server matt was very attentive. read more

Excellent food! There were a lot of interesting options, even on the gluten free menu (great dairy free and veg options too!). We settled on the tahini cauliflower, the poco beef tips, sumac tuna, and grape leaves. Everything was delicious (and garlicky), and we're leaving stuffed. Overall food is always good but the last time we went service was lacking. Seemed to me server was overwhelmed with all the tables she had. The hummus is the best in town and the meat and chicken area always cooked great. Just fix the service and things will only get better. read more

Great place. I work in Levis Commons so I've been going here for years. Service is important to me and I can say over all the years I've been going here the service has been nothing but perfect. Attentive and kind wait staff. Some of my favorites from the menu are the grape leaves, shrimp thia lasagna, poco tips, Greek salad, fattoush, and chicken shish tawook. I don't order these often but the pizzas are great. Their sangria is wonderful as well. Great food, service, and atmosphere. It's a must try venue. read more

It's really amusing to read some of these internally sponsored review. I'll give the real deal review after going there for roughly 20 years. They're always looking for ways to cut corners with product and raise costs - sometimes hidden to the customer. For example, they used to interchange either rice or fries with their dinners. People always wanted the fries for obvious reasons. It's now rice and their taste is hideous while the portions are getting smaller and smaller. Common Management! It doesn't end there. A small order of fatoosh has gone up 40 percent over the last couple of months. A manager told me this is due to the pandemic - really!!! They kept the hummuos at the same price but the portion is significantly smaller. The game here is to either reduce portion size or raise prices. I've gotton so tired of the excuses that I will not be going back. There are many other choices in the Toledo area. read more

Visited for the first time during a Friday at lunch, expected it to be busier especially since it was Restaurant Week but we easily got a table. Both of us ordered from the RWT menu which consisted of four courses. The roasted garlic and feta dip was amazing, I wanted to dip everything in it! My friend said the hummus was alright, nothing special. The next course was Shrimp Saganaki, loved every bite and was scooping the garlicky sauce up with pita. The beef lollipops were lackluster- a bit chewy and overdone but good seasoning. Dessert was vanilla creme brulee which was a nice sweet finish to the savory meal. I love Poco Piatti! I frequently go there for lunch. Today when i went in I noticed how dirty the floors were. There was dirt and dust on the floor underneath the barstools. The hardwood is in need of a good cleaning. There were fruit flies and my glass smelled like a wet dog smells. Sad. read more

My favorite!!! This location is soooo much better than the Perrysburg one. The setting is more intimate, the wait staff is much more friendly and accomodating, and in general it just seems more local. It makes for a great conversational dinner. Great little place with interesting menu items it would be nice if they would change items around sometimes and really market to the local community. I like they're fresh bread but this is not a restaurant I find myself craving for or remembering when looking for a place to eat with the family. I will save the Thai shrimp was good. Remarkably average, overpriced Mediterranean fusion food. Except for the garlic feta dip and the kabobs. Expect to pay $15/person without drinks or extras. Good atmosphere and they do have a good bar list, albeit overpriced. read more

The only reason that I did not give a 5 star is the menu change! This was my wife and is fav place to go! They had a thing called the poco trio which was the perfect size for me and her both. She can not eat a lot because of a bypass she had done! Other then that we love the resultant never any complaints about the food. Great service and friendly staff! One of the best things is the fresh PETA bread! We will continue to enjoy poco for date nights, but we wish the trio would come back! read more

My partner and I are both vegan. We went to the restaurant and were assured they could make everything we ordered vegan. We even double checked with our waitress to make sure they could use an oil like olive oil instead of butter. She said she double checked with the cook and confirmed this could be done. When we received our food, we were unsure about a couple of items, one of which was the sautéed mushrooms, but again, we were assured everything was cooked vegan. Well, we didn't eat many of the mushrooms anyways, instead taking them home and putting them in the fridge. To my shock, the next day when I pulled them out of the fridge, there were now clear signs of cold butter on and around the mushrooms! It definitely was not oil! If you are a vegan, or perhaps have other dietary restrictions, I would not trust this restaurant. They either don't know what they are doing in the kitchen or are knowingly deceiving customers. read more

Went early on a Saturday with my wife and ordered a small cauliflower, a small brussel sprouts, and large mujadara from the vegetarian small plate menu. All were fresh and very flavorful. The sauces complemented the main ingredients beautifully. We were still a little hungry, and so ordered a small grapeleaf dish. Not as unique as the other dishes, but still very good. Our waitress described the dishes very well, and gave a good indication of the sizes of the smaller and larger versions. A basket of very nice pita bread arrived soon after we were seated. Terrible, I won't even give it one star. We went tonight for dinner. The wait staff was very rude. Our plates and pitcher were dirty-the pitcher was so dirty that there was brown stuff glued to the side of the pitcher. We pointed this out to the waitress, she just said it must be ice tea and walked away. She didn't even offer to correct the dirty pitcher or plates. The waitress was extremely rude and the food wasn't very good. The manager didn't even offer to correct the situation. read more

I was just at the Levis Commons location the other night for my S/O's birthday. I had been to the one on Monroe Street many years ago and thought it was tasty so I suggested Poco. I'm glad to see that our experience was awesome and not what everyone else went through. We had a ton of appetizers. He had the Thai Shrimp Lasagna which he said was great although it looked like baby shrimp in marinara on Doritos chips. We shared some beef tenderloin "lollipop" stuffed with spinach, prosciutto and parm cheese and it was served with a little blue cheese fondue and chimichurri sauce. It was ridiculously good, as were the prosciutto and fontina crepes and the dip sampler. For dinner I had the tenderloin shish kabob with the lubia (green beans with tomatoes and onion). The meat was incredible. I feel like we both just spent the entire meal making happy noises and stuffing our faces. He had the Osso Buco and said the flavor was good although it was a little difficult to eat. Our server was also quick and attentive. Refills were given without asking, she checked on us multiple times during the meal and was friendly. With four appetizers and two of the more expensive meals on the menu, plus two glasses of wine, our bill was just under $100. We will be back. read more

This is a great place to try out some authentic Mediterranean food. Their grilled baby lamb chops are mouth watering.

I don't know why this place isn't always packed!? I love the idea of "small plates" - perfect for those of us who have a hard time choosing a single entree for our meal. It's a blast to go with friends, share your plates and a pitcher of sangria! I have many favorite dishes at Poco Piatti, but I especially like the thai shrimp lasagna, the mellanzana rollatini and the fatoush. The menu prices range from $4 to $10, and you can plan to order 2 items per person in your group. I've never had an unpleasant dish or glass of sangria at Poco Piatti. read more

I decided to give this place another chance. It was a Thursday, not at all busy, night. The food was worse than I remembered. The greek salad was wilted and brown. The shrimp on the Thai Lasagna was smelly. The prociutto in the crepes was near rancid. I feel sick from having eaten there. They have clearly lost their passion for food. read more

Service was slow on recent visit and there was only one other table eating at 5pm. The food is the worst. Chicken kabobs were burned. Salad was over dressed to the point where there was a soup of dressing at bottom of the bowl. The meat grape leaves lacked meat, and the taste was bland. I didn't plan on spending my Friday night doing laundry, but after the server spilled red wine all over myself, my husband, and the table, that is exactly what I did. The staff pretty much left the mess for us to clean up. We even had to get towels out of the bathroom. The manager, Zak, only found out because we flagged him down after our third attempt at asking for bread. He acted like it was somehow our fault and was quite rude. When the bill came, they had not comped anything--not even the glass of wine the server spilled on us. He did say he'd cover the dry cleaning for our coats... we will see if he follows through. It was a very disappointing evening as I've never been treated so ungraciously. We were not rude nor did we act angry about the situation. They have certain my future patronage. I'll stick with Beirut when I want Mediterranean food. Well worth the drive to the other end of town. read more
