    This has been one of the most frustrating and disruptive moving experiences I've ever had. My issues began when PODS repeatedly confirmed that same-day delivery and pickup from a Public Storage location was fully supported in my area. I planned my entire move around those confirmations. On the day of the move, I was informed--far too late--that this service was not available in my location. Because the pod was required to leave that same day, I was forced into an emergency situation and had to hire a moving company and truck at the last minute just to transport my belongings to their facility. This cost me roughly $800, caused major work disruption, and wasted an entire day. PODS later attempted to classify this as a "standard mover cost," which is simply untrue--it was a direct result of their misinformation. Unfortunately, it didn't stop there. Since then, PODS has now failed to deliver my container twice. The first failed delivery was blamed on the area not being wide enough. I took this seriously and had shrubs removed and the space widened to accommodate their requirements. On the second delivery attempt, there was: * No phone call * No delivery window * No notice whatsoever I only received a generic email saying they "attempted delivery and couldn't." When I contacted customer support, I was then told they couldn't reach the storage facility--despite no one attempting to contact me at all. Now I am actively moving into my home, after weeks of planning specifically around having the container available on arrival. Instead, I'm being told I must wait an additional three days to receive my pod after I've already arrived due entirely to PODS' internal failures. This experience reflects a pattern of negligence, poor communication, and lack of accountability. Information is repeatedly confirmed and then reversed. Delivery attempts happen without coordination. Errors are framed as policy limitations rather than acknowledged as service failures. Moving is already stressful. PODS has consistently made it worse at every step. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere if timing, reliability, or basic communication matter to you.

    In response to sending an email to the social media email, they don't reply either. It's a waste of time. absolutely horrendous!! had to get a real supervisor on the phone he tried to help but couldn't finish it because there was already an incident report on going that Marissa couldn't be bothered responding to me. she was told to call me, but instead she emailed and oh guess what, she's ignoring me. I was put on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up because Alex just left me hanging without coming back. they have the distance wrong and tried to blame me. when I know I told them where I was going. I asked to hear the recording, no response from Marissa. trying to get someone on the phone or text or chat is impossible. and the social media email is no help either because they don't even care either, just more ignoring. no help. they are holding my stuff and not living up to the agreement, it's time to reach a lawyer. I'm sure it isn't the first time. ****if you're booking a long distance move over 50 miles, mine is only 76 miles it will take a week from the day you book. Which makes no sense at all!

    Several days ago I booked a same-day drop-off and pick-up for Monday, November 3, 2015. Today, Saturday November 1, 2025 your scheduling department called to say your Los Angeles facility can no longer provide same day service and that PODS must reschedule for drop off on November 3 and pick-up November 4. I informed your scheduling department that I DO NOT AUTHORIZE any changes to the schedule and to keep the same schedule as PODS previously confirmed with me via several emails and text messages and in the contract I signed with PODs, which is now in breech because of PODS actions. 10 minutes after ending the call with your scheduling rep I received an email from PODS saying that "I requested a change" stating the schedule has changed to drop-off November 3 and pick-up November 4, which I did NOT request and as I said above I did NOT authorize I have previously scheduled my moving company to arrive at the move site according to the schedule PODS that I agreed and paid for, November 3, 2025 PODS obviously has chronic and egregious issues with customer service, communication, and fraud. !!!!!!!!!DO NOT USE PODS!!!!!! DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THE POSITIVE REVIEWS HERE...THEY ARE FAKE GENERATED BY BOTS

    Clearly says that I don't need to be on site for delivery.

They had really tried to make it work and sadly, my sofa didn't come apart so they had no option to even break it down. My only feedback would be that I had wished they had told me the estimated cost of moving the sofa back into storage as I probably could have gotten partway to a new sofa. Other companies will quote you one price but after it is all done, will charge you more, and it is always more, they never surprise you with less. Prior to the move, I discussed pricing and payment terms directly with the owner/manager and confirmed the agreed-upon amount. However, when the movers arrived, they immediately demanded cash up front and refused to provide any services unless payment was made on the spot. This directly contradicted the prior agreement. After loading the couches, they demanded an additional $100 that had never been disclosed or authorized. The situation felt coercive and inappropriate. In addition to the payment dispute, the movers caused multiple damages: * One of the couches was damaged. * The garage door was damaged. * A component of the security system on the back door was broken. Furthermore, one of the workers raised his voice and yelled at my wife and daughter. This behavior is completely unacceptable and unprofessional. When I contacted the company to request information regarding their insurance coverage for the damages, they refused to provide any details. This company demonstrated a serious lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect. I strongly advise others to proceed with caution.
