From being greeted by the manager on my way in to the extremely polite waitress, we had the experience was amazing then came with the food. We had the grouper, beef, stroganoff, and the chicken carbonara what a burst of flavors they were everything was amazing, and they're not even known for those dishes they are known for their steaks ! TLDR: Very good anniversary dinner. We will go back. We went to dinner here back in December on the recommendation of our ReMAX realtor Chris Jarzyk. It was a really good choice. My wife has a shellfish allergy and they had a variety of options that didn't risk her. My wife had the shrimp and grits, replacing the shrimp with blackened chicken. It was very good. I had the crispy pork shank. The shank was excellent, but the bleu cheese grits weren't as good as my wife's. Hers were *really* good. Service was great. Prompt and accurate. Very friendly and attentive without being intrusive, even though they were quite busy. It was our anniversary. Went on a Friday evening while we were on vacation in Cape Coral. Nice cocktail menu in a casual, yet more upscale setting.

Decent seafood for the area. Food is important but service can make or break a pleasant meal. Found the food to be rather bland, maybe I'm used to a bit more flavor. Overall nothing special, I recommend other restaurants by the beach if you're looking for that "upscale seafood" sort of feel without bursting your wallet. Good atmosphere, sat out in their patio to celebrate a friends birthday dinner. I ordered their Shrimp Scampi Pasta. I was shocked on the amount of shrimp I received, I wish their was more shrimp because it was a delicious meal. Definitely recomendable but next time I'll have to request more shrimp. read more

Ok we went there from the recommendation from the guy we rented our Airbnb through on the weekend of June 8th ,, we ordered two stuffed mushroom appetizers for the table , and the manager brought them to our table and we thought she was rude and had an attitude because our menus were on the table ( we hadn't ordered our dinners yet ) and she kept saying can you move your menus so she could place the "hot appetizers" on the table and she could have said it nicer , but when we ate the appetizers they were only lukewarm although they were good ,, we ordered 1 $40 steak ( wanted 2 but they were out) and one $40 prime rib, and one salmon dinner and one beef stroganoff, and one chicken dinner which was pricey and only received one small piece of chicken, and my cousin who couldn't eat much because of recent surgery, ordered the seafood plate that came with fish , shrimp fries and some other seafood, but she only wanted the shrimp and they were SUPPOSED to substitute the other seafood with extra shrimp, BUT they only gave her 5 shrimp for the SAME price of $28, and her fries were fried hard ( she also had to wait for her plate while we all received ours because the first plate they told her they fried her shrimp too hard, but her second plate the fries were hard ) so when she said something to the waiter , she looked up and the cook was mean mugging her from the kitchen door ! Instead of compensating her with extra shrimp as they SHOULD have ,, they offered her a free dessert,,, my daughter's $40 steak was well done instead of medium as she requested,,, dunno if that's why they told her they only had one left to get rid of the overcooked one they had prepared already ‍, the waiter was AWESOME and nice ,,,,, l did enjoy my beef stroganoff dish very much and my husband enjoyed his birthday salmon meal ,,, AGAIN manager could have been MORE inviting and NICER ,,, read more

I want to give Point 57 SIX STARS! I have an allergy to pepper, eating out is a nightmare. I was trepidatious about trying a new restaurant, but we just moved to Cape Coral and I wanted to find a local place we could make 'our place'. Our server (Tina) took my allergy seriously and checked with the kitchen to see what was safe for me to eat. I ordered the filet, it was cooked perfectly, they even made me a special herb butter because they weren't positive that there was no pepper in the regular herb butter. Again fries overfried and special tartar sauce was mayo and maybe parsley or some green herb. If your a believer the emperor is wearing a fine robe, drop 60 for you and your dinner mate. We went for Father's Day brunch. There were eight in our party and when we arrived the restaurant was about half full, although by the time we left it was full. The service was incredibly slow. It took 20 mins to get our drinks and an hour to get our food. We started with the apple fritters. They were very good however very small. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken is a flour coated white meat chicken with fresh fluffy waffles. The chicken was very rubbery. The waffle was excellent. Dad got the sausage and biscuits. Fresh homemade biscuits covered in sausage gravy. There wasn't enough gravy to cover the biscuits so we asked for more. A few people had the French toast. It was good. Husband had the traditional Breakfast. Also very good. However he had poached eggs that came out hard as a rock so they had to remake them. Another had the ribeye hash and said it was very good. The shrimp and grits, also very good however the tails were left on the shrimp so a bit messy to dig thru and remove. Our server was very nice. It is a scratch kitchen so things take time, but we waited for everything a long time including drinks. Perhaps it was due to Father's Day so we may give it another try. Restaurant is very nice decor and inside and outside seating is available. They didn't have the blueberry pancakes as listed on the website menu. Disappointing as several of us wanted those. First came here in 2018 and finally made it back. Once again the food did not disappoint. I started off with the mussels in a white wine garlic sauce that was fantastic. I then had the Caesar salad with grilled shrimp in a house made Caesar dressing. The salad was dressed perfectly with the pickled cherry tomatoes that added something special to the salad. The shrimp were grilled perfectly. I will add that the mixologist at the bar did a fantastic job on my P57 Old Fashion. For my main course I had the crispy pork shank that was cooked to perfection. The meat just slid off the bone shank. It was served on a bed of blue cheese mash and spinach with a chutney. My only call out was I found the blue cheese mash a bit strong with a normal bit of just mashed potatoes. Now the combination of the pork a little mash spinach and chutney was unbelievable. For desert I had the crème brûlée. If you are close to Cape Coral Florida it is worth the drive. read more

After reading the amazing reviews my husband and I decided to try someplace new for our anniversary. The menu appears to have been cut for summer or possibly due to supply shortages, disappointing start. We were seated on the patio and our table was very sticky! When I mentioned this to our waitress and asked for napkins to put cover the table she got annoyed and told me it was due to the humidity. Now we were off to a bad start. Service was slow, unfriendly and rude...the waitress definitely felt like she was doing us a favor. The food was subpar, steak special filet mignon, was not a good cut of meat and it was tasteless. The mussels ands the stuff mushrooms were OK but nothing to reorder. I had the south fried chicken, came with Green Beans ands they all had half inch stems still attached, wasn't cleaned or trimmed at all!! I ordered a seafood platter for $28.00 and I was absolutely fine with the price but what I got was literally 3 small fried scallops, 3 small shrimp, and 3 small mahi fish sticks no bigger than the frozen ones in the packs for kids. The fries were big and smelt burnt, soaked grease and the fish sticks were mushy, mushy, mushy. Our bill was over $200. For 2 kids and 3 adults. I'm telling anyone NOT to go here! They definitely don't have a chef, it's a McDonalds cook. Again, I didn't mind paying $28. for a seafood platter but really? 3 sm. shrimp, 3 sm. scallops, 3 sm fish sticks and burnt fries, pathetic! The worst most unfriendly waitress we have experienced in a long time. Fathers Day. The waitress had no smile and no personality. Drinks, appetizers and dinner, food was marginal at best. Father's Day menu not worth mentioning. Once done and received after dinner drink, waitress asked about dessert and I replied maybe in a few, she replied that there was a " two hour limit" and we were there just under an hour. My wife and daughter was stunned at her response. I looked around and the place was empty except for a few tables, 3 o'clock in the afternoon. Unbelievable poor service and attitude. I will never step foot in that place again after this. We have been there several times before but something has changed. Food and attitude has loss it's way here. We had the Seafood Mac and Cheese and the Shrimp and Grits. The only problem with the meal was that they left the tails on the shrimp! So you have this beautiful, delicious dinner and you have to dig in your meal with your fingers to fish out the shrimp to get the tails off. Really Chef??? The burger was wonderful with crispy bacon and a runny fried egg. The fries were nicely salted and cooked well. We each ordered a bottomless mimosa and never had to wait for an empty glass. Our server was very friendly and attentive and it was a bonus that she was a local girl, born and raised. The outdoor patio was cute and spacious. I read on Cape Coral Foodies social media page about good food here but after 3 visits and just "average" food I can't rate them higher than a 3. The daily specials appear to be the way to go. We had the special steak and potatoes one night, not bad. We tried 5 appetizers and they were all average. The crab cakes were mushy and not tasty, the calamari didn't have that special unique taste but the stuffed mushrooms were fantastic! The service here is excellent! Drinks wonderful! read more
