Went here with my wife and another couple for Thanksgiving Turkey dinner. There was a generous meal of white turkey meat, mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, fresh string beans and cranberry sauce. The turkey dinner was on special for $20.00 which seems high to me for a turkey dinner but after all it was thanksgiving. The turkey was a little on the dry side but still okay with gravy on it. String beans were cooked perfectly with just the right crunch. The dressing had small pieces of apple in it which made it deliciously moist. The ambiance was nice with linen tablecloths and cloth napkins. Service was superb. Quick and always there when you needed her. She said she'd worked there for years even throughout the different name changes and she was a pro. I wish I could remember her name because I'd given her a shout out for a job well done. read more

We went to brunch here for the first time last weekend and loved every second of it! Kristy was our bartender and she was phenomenal. We did the bottomless mimosas (just champagne for me!) and the calamari to start. It had peppers in it which added so much extra flavor. I had the chicken Caesar salad and my husband had a burger. I stole some of his fries, but my salad was so big I could barely finish it! He said the burger was delicious as well. Went on a Friday night in season so it was busy as expected, but they had a very nice bar and me and the wife got a few drinks after about a 10min wait we were seated. The other couple we were with showed up shortly after. Considering the place that was her before the transformation that was made was amazing it was a very Florida key west style feel which I really enjoy. I had the burger which was tasty but slightly undercooked for my liking. My wife's steak frites was delicious steak cooked perfect fries hot and crispy. My only issue was the service was a little slow and seemed inexperienced which considering the place was only open for a week I kind of expected. I will be going back eventually after season slows and hopefully they have got there game plan down %100 percent. My friends and I visited Point 57 for the fourth or maybe fifth time since opening. Each time we're just as impressed as the previous visit. We started with the stuffed mushrooms and signature wings. Both were delicious, BUT the cheese fondue on the stuffed mushrooms, was spectacular. So delightful, we requested a side with dinner. For dinner, the three of us shared Hurricane Irma Meatloaf, Cape Royal Burger and the Rib special. The cheese fondue side was ideal to dip the fries into. OMG. Just heaven. All of our dinners were fantastic, and I have no idea how we could continue to eat, but we did. For dessert we ordered the Creme Brulee and two orders of the Brownies Cockaign. Yummy. Of course, we were not disappointed. I'm sure our waiter thought we snuck in a cat, because we were now purring. We will be returning very soon. Once again, great job!! read more

My boyfriend ordered us the dry rub chicken wings tonight and they made us the regular wings. He noticed and went back in. We ordered them again and still had to pay for all the wing at this point. 6 orders, 3 of which we did not and would not eat. Not what we wanted however I hate blue cheese and he asked them multiple times if there was ranch in the box. He said yes. We got back home and long behold the bartender was so confident that there was ranch in there. NO THERE WAS NOT RANCH. There was 6 orders of blue cheese. So not only did we have to pay for 3 extra orders of wing, we didn't even get the sweet ranch that was SUPPOSED to come with them. Not sure I'll go back. I definitely will NOT order anything to go that is for sure. The last 3 times we had been I. There our experience was awesome. Being from Naples with high end restaurant, we thought we found a little hidden gem. Very good meal. Table for five was ready when we arrived. Booked through OpenTable, Appetizers were good for sharing and delicious. Fish dip was different than most -- more like a ceviche than a creamy dip. Cocktail menu is extremely creative. Please don't go here and just order a Bud Light. They can also make creative non-alcoholic mocktails for the driver in the group. Entrees were fantastic. My filet was a touch overcooked from rare but not so much to be sent back. Table service (Jacki) was spot on. When we first arrived we sat at the bar to have a drink while waiting for the rest of our party. The bartender promptly greeted us and provided meal and drink menus, but we only saw her backside the rest of the time we sat there (never was able to catch her attention). All in all a great experience and will definitely be back. Parking lot was jammed and spaces are quite small. We had to park in the adjacent dirt lot. Had a reservation which I highly recommend as this second visit was just as busy as the first time. We were seated immediately and our server, Oscar, was great! He was a good up-seller and very attentive. We decided to have their appetizer special- Beef Tips in a five cheese sauce with blue cheese and toasted bread that had a balsamic vinegar glaze. WOW! Very yummy and very filling! Then we ordered the same entrees as last time- he had the Hurricane Irma Meatloaf and I ordered the Old Bay Shrimp Scampi pasta (I ordered it light on the garlic). My wife and I went to Point 57 2 nights ago and took a seat at the bar, my wife politely asked the bartender to please wipe the counter, she did not say a word and proceeded to brush the crumbs on my wife's lap. We should have left then but we stayed only to see her treat other patrons rudely. One of the other patrons asked her if she offended her in any way and she gave them a nasty look and said no. We paid our bill and left before things got heated with the other patrons. Our food was very good but it was clear the bartender did not like her job and therefore made our experience less than desirable. read more

This clean and modern designed Restaurant raises the expectations. And the professional and friendly staff sure lived-up to them. I wish people would quit rating this place highly, it does not deserve it. Second time we've stopped at Point57 and it still has not improved. For some reason they think serving a martini in a custard cup (unless you ask for a martini glass) is a special treat. I got a scotch and water on rocks, well, one rock that takes up the whole glass. A friend and I decided to have dinner here. The level of customer service was amazing. We were waited on by Jackie who was amazing and very knowledgeable on the menu. We wanted to try a few things for appetizers so she suggested the smaller portions. We had fish dip, beach wings, and spring rolls. My favorite were the spring rolls. When my friend ordered the fish dip I wasn't feeling it but when I tried it I couldn't stop. The wings were also good! For my entree I had the grilled pork tenderloin which was wrapped in bacon and may I say it surpassed my expectations, I was really impressed! Their drinks were fabulous, and tasty! The decor of this place is amazing, very nicely decorated and layed out. Clean both in public area as well as bathrooms. All staff wearing masks and were as nice as could be. Food is really good, my wife and I had different plates, both really tasty. Would also mention my wife is a chief as is hard to please. Decent parking lot space, easy to find and get to. I am reading all of these 5 star reviews thinking I must have gone to a different place. I want it to be 5 star worthy, but this little place has some growing pains. It prides itself of cool hipster cocktails. The cocktail menu is about three times as extensive as the food menu. Each person in our party got a different cocktail, and while they were certainly pretty, they all have undertones of a rather strong honey, which left a funky taste. Whoever is creating the cocktails must have a honey obsession. My drink came with three small dried rosebuds, pretty, but what was I supposed to do with them? An olive I can eat,not sure I want to eat a small dried rosebud. Our server was certainly trying. She was enthusiastic and excited about the menu. While she seriously lacked in food knowledge, she was very sweet and hospitable. I think there is simply a lack of training. She did not know how to properly pronounce several ingredients in the night special nor how to adequately describe some of the menu items when queationed. This is not on her, this is on the manager to make sure their staff knows the menu and the ingredients. Until they do, the sever should not be on the floor. The food in general was average. Nothing special like I am reading in other reviews. The beef stroganoff was in desperate need of salt, the mushroom appetizer had a whopping 3 mushrooms on a piece of bread and was underwhelming. The steak was well past medium rare and the flavor came from the butter not the meat. For $90 for two people at a restaurant in CC, I want to be amazed. I want a meal the is memorable and well crafted.. This was not it. I hate wasting that kind of money on mediocre food. Maybe I got it on an off night, but regardless, I am out almost $100 for a lackluster average meal. I hope other have a better expirence. I doubt we will be back. read more

We loved this restaurant until we encountered the rude Manager, Will Scull tonight. The food has always been good and the wait staff excellent. We were a party of four (with a reservation) and were waiting for the waitress to return our credit card after paying our $360 tab when the manager came over and asked us to hurry along because he had other reservations for our table. If we wanted fast food we would have went to the local McDonalds. The time at the table was 90 minutes. If he had consulted with the waitress about our length of stay he would have been told we were in the process of leaving. The Manager definitely needs to learn people skills and etiquette. We love this place, and have been there many times. It's a small but diverse menu that features simple things like meatloaf, burgers and fried chicken, as well as more exotic, upscale dishes. Great steaks, old bay pasta, all good. The scampi was a bit bland though - no garlic or lemon to speak of. Maybe that was an aberration for that one night, but worth mentioning, and the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars. Otherwise, it's always been great. The pea cake appy is terrific, and something I wouldn't have thought of. Prices are reasonable, service is efficient and friendly, and the cocktails are well crafted. So I'm gonna guess the chef owns this place. You will get your food the way he/she wants it. Good point first: The burger was great. BUT... I don't mind limited menus. In this instance less ABSOLUTELY isn't better because... the wait staff is expected to remember this short menu. They don't. Details are lost. Asked for a vodka gimlet. Got some surgery gin concoction. They were nice about replacing it but they should have just said they didn't have what I originally ordered. Vodka and gin are not interchangable. This is how the whole evening went. A salad was forgotten. The entree was early even though we very clearly said we wanted to have our drinks first. Regretfully sent entrees back so we could finish our cocktails and wait for the salad. The forgotten/troublesome house salad was extremely underwhelming. That delicious burger came as the chef apparently wants it. I wanted no lettuce but with onion. It came with the lettuce that was "shaved" (their words) melted into the cheese, so not easy to remove. No onion : ( At this point we were frustrated. I gave up. Also, I think I should mention that the burger was plenty for me but it was dainty and I think a guy would probably want a regular size burger. Another detail on the burger, I'm used to ordering medium rare if I want medium but the waiter warned it will come out very close to red in the middle. My bad. Very happy for the warning as a table near us had to send theirs back for being too rare. The skirt steak was flavorful but the skinny end was medium and the thicker end very rare. Also cut wrong as skirt steak needs to be cut on the bias and it definitely wasn't. I don't mind that the mustard and ketchup were in the little individual servers but if you care for salt or pepper the wait staff only bring them by request. The pepper grinder (apparently allowed for salads only) had to be asked for, and then the waiter has to make yet one more trip for salt... you may have guessed... in a little serving dish.
