I took my granddaughter there for here 21st birthday. The food was great, and the staff made her feel very special Services was exceptional, and the restaurant was comfortable and fun, you could sit inside or out on the porch. We sat at the bar for awhile, bartender was very nice

We came on Saturday before Mother's Day it was empty and for the first time the steaks were not cooked as ordered we had to turn them back 3 times but the manager offered a 15% discount for the inconvenience.

Another 5 star review from me. If I lived down here year round, I would be there every Tuesday night. The $35 Tuesday night steak special can't be beat. Three courses, salad, filet with mashed potatoes & spinach, tonight was tres leches for dessert Check it out, you won't be disappointed

Was able to snag a reservation for four, two hours in advance, for dinner on a Sunday evening (off-season). The restaurant was moderately busy, but nothing crazy. We were seated immediately. We had to wait a little while for our server to greet us, but once she did, the night headed in the right direction! We started off with cocktails, but unfortunately, they had run out of fresh basil and therefore, the cocktails my mother and I ordered were unavailable. We opted instead for one of the featured cocktails on their summer specials menu and a mojito. The Lavender Lemonade, gin gimlet, and Espresso Martini (with Kahlua in lieu of Baileys) were all very good! The Mojito, although described as featuring Bacardi Silver, tasted like it was made with Cruzan, and therefore, a little cheap. The watermelon cocktail was okay, and the Smokin' Coconut was very interesting. For dinner, we started with Calamari and Fried Green Tomatoes (also featured on the summer specials menu). The Fried Green Tomatoes were cooked nicely, still very firm in the center with perfect cornmeal breading. They weren't too oily or greasy and the pimento cheese was a nice touch. The Calamari was good, but a lot of the pieces were crumbs and it was a little on the greasier side. Not sure if I would order it again but it definitely satisfied the craving. I enjoyed the Filet Mignon for my entree. It was cooked perfectly, juicy and deliciously seasoned, very peppery. I enjoyed the herb butter, but the steak sauce? Not so much. I switched out the mashed potatoes for the hand cut fries and they were nice and paired well with the steak. Because Point 57 is a scratch kitchen, they were able to leave the garlic out of my sautéed spinach (dietary restriction) which I greatly appreciated. Very accommodating staff and kitchen team! I also enjoyed the Wedge Salad. The other members of my party enjoyed the Beef Stroganoff, NY Strip special with Au Poivre, and the Short Rib Risotto. Everyone enjoyed their meals. For dessert, I enjoyed the Tiramisu special and we got the very last one! The restaurant is very cute and homey, and I particularly loved the look of the bar. I could see this being a great local spot to enjoy for happy hour or through their offerings that change with the seasons. I would definitely return. Huge kudos to our wonderful server, Kat, who was so sweet and went above and beyond to make our experience wonderful. Enjoyed spending time with family here and would highly recommend!

I wish I had tried this place much sooner, I was always hesitant to come here as I am a spur of the moment diner, however, I regret not trying it. Sooner service was phenomenal, very attentive. The food was perfect and it definitely had a inclusive vibe as a solo diner. The bartender and staff were very personable and engaged. They were the perfect balance of engagement without overbearing. I will definitely be back. Cocktails were on point food was great. I even grabbed an extra dessert for midnight munchies.. can't wait to try the rest of the appetizers and dessert.

On a Thursday night, six of us went to dinner at Point 57. We have a reservation at 5:30 PM but we (2 out of six) got delayed by beach traffic returning from Fort Myers Beach. The ambiance here is casual and not formal just like many local restaurants here. Point 57 is known for its cocktails, seafood, steaks and new American fare. We were sit at a very nice corner table! I ordered a Seafood Risotto and wife ordered Chicken Carbonara. Other members of party ordered crab cakes, Beef Stroganoff, Caesar Salad, Fried Calamari, Shrimps and Grits, Crusted Grouper over shrimp Risotto. The presentations were fine and well plated. My Seafood Risotto was well prepared and delectable. Chicken Carbonara's pasta was cooked with perfection but the chicken was overcooked and dry! My friend did not like his beef Stroganoff. His main complaint was not enough sour cream and the beef was tough and not tender! Grouper over Shrimp Risotto was great. Overall it was good with a little improvement needed for Beef Stroganoff and Chicken Carbonara. The waitress was sharp, professional and attentive. Wine, beer and water glasses are filled very quickly. We did not try their signature cocktails but mainly on beer and wine!

Dinner with Yelp friends and -- fun fact (considering this is SW Florida)-- three of us attended Brooklyn College! I know, I know, what does that have to do with the restaurant?! Getting down to business, our evening was a 4+ star experience in every which way: great food, lovely ambience (neither casual nor particularly formal) and a friendly & efficient server. Vacillating about salmon (which I was told is sushi grade) and my old stand-by: calamari-topped-Caesar-salad. I went with the salad. The Caesar was okay --- didn't look nearly as good as my husband's house salad -- but the piece de resistance was calamari. Rings, tentacles, accents of pepper (jalapeno?) fried just right. With T also digging in, there was STILL plenty of squid for me to take home. I noticed that everyone's meal was nicely plated. I tried T's grits, which I thought were nothing special. "You didn't get any of the sauce!" he said, defending his choice of shrimp and grits, which he really liked. While I snapped photos of everyone's meals, you can read their assessments, which I'm guessing are all positive. In summation, Point 57 gets two thumbs up. There are options in every food group, prices aren't bad and the wine list covers all bases. I deviated from my usual hearty red and went with the house pinot grigio which at $28 was perfectly good. Easy parking too, with a lot in the back.

The menu has something for everyone. My husband loves the shrimp & grits...I think it's the best Chicken Cobb Salad in town. Service is always good. Take a sweater, it's on the cooler side. This time we had a high top table as they were preparing for a party in the dining room....and the bartender was sharing his vacation details with the hostess (and everyone else in between) who was at her front station. It made it difficult for us to have a work conversation, but I definitely would not hold it against him. A little surprised as we kept turning around to look at him like hello and he just kept going and even maybe go louder. ....its not normally like that. The Happy Hour is usually packed so check them out!

My husband had the P57 salmon, which was a grilled 6 ounce fillet salmon, grilled shrimp, crab meat, smoked Gouda potato cake, sautéed mixed vegetables with a bearnaise. I had the marinated double cut grilled lamb chops with Caprese risotto, asparagus tips, and mint chimichurri. Both was extremely good, service was good, the food is delicious. Noice level is a bit high, but I would eat the lamb here every evening, regardless of the noice level, because it was that good.

Last night we met for dinner with two other couples. Four of us are Yelpers lol! This is my second time at this lovely restaurant. Last time for brunch and now for dinner. We had a cozy well appointed table in the corner of the restaurant. Dave and I usually prefer outside seating which this restaurant has. We met at 5:30 before the large crowd arrived. Dave ordered the crab cake appetizer and he thought they were ok. I thought they were artfully decorated with a mayonnaise remolade and were good. We ordered dinner and I listened to our server who recommended the Garlic and Parmesan Crusted Grouper over shrimp Risotto which was out of this world! Dave had the Beef Stroganoff and although it was good he was disappointed that there wasn't more sour cream in the sauce and the meat wasn't tender. We spent a very relaxing time eating, drinking wine, beer and black coffee for me. By the time I looked up, the place was jammed! What a great evening!

Food was amazing but the service was horrible! Laura was our waitress and she just had a horrible attitude and got our food wrong. Very disappointed in this place :(

Great spot in Fort Myers for family dinner!…read more Our server Austin was great and the ambiance was nice, live music on Saturday night is always a vibe. I tried the shrimp scampi and Tuna Tutaki off the summer deal menu Tuna Tutaki is the same size as if you ordered it off the regular menu, same as the scampi huge portion. We also ordered the Grouper Oscar which was delicious if we're being picky it could of had more sauce. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was their skinny margarita and that's just based off my flavor preference. For dessert The Tower Carrot Cake is equivalent to 3 or 4 big slices, definitely shareable. The Famous Key Lime pie was also amazing but not shareable, it's smaller and so good you'll want it all to yourself! Cheers!

They were backed so we still had to wait for a table but it was a holiday so I don't really hold that against them, just noting. Do note that most parking is valet (complimentary). My husband and I split oysters and the Captains Platter. Captains Platter was tasty but for $40+ - I think they could've given a larger portion of at least the veggie sides. Restaurants who skimp on these always blow my mind, Brussels sprouts are so cheap! What we did have was just ok. Sprouts were soggy and bitter, only a few scallops, but the fish was good. I actually liked the plantains a lot! Our server was fabulous and we did need some help from one of the managers who was also great. It is quite a loud restaurant but again it was packed. Overall, I just wasn't excited about anything we had, and thought the prices were high for the quality. With all the seafood in this area, it would be hard to return here.
