    Hot Chicken Wings

The salad was nothing special. It was a little smaller than I thought a full would be but still tasted good. I was impressed by how many dressing options they had including lots of light options. The pizza was delicious. They didn't skimp at all on the toppings (we got a deluxe). It was ready super quickly and tasted hot and fresh. The hot wings had a good kick to them but not so much I couldn't eat more than one (and I'm a wimp about spice). I'd definitely order again, but maybe just get pizza. That was the real star of the meal. I also love that they're open late!! A perfect spot to grab food from during night shift when most places in the area are closed early.

The amazing Pointersaurus Pizza! It took ten of us to finish it!

A Pointersaurus Pizza was shared with everyone in The Jolly Rogers of Kansas City and Bounding Main of Chicago after our recording session at Smith/Lee Studio. This was an amazing food adventure that complimented a very fun day!

Solid option for pizza in STL, especially late night! We ordered take out and the pizza and toasted ravioli were done in less than 10 minutes. The Mastodon pizza was loaded with toppings and had a nice, crispy crust. The toasted ravioli were also crispy with great meaty flavor packed in. I also appreciated the ample amount of sauce provided. I will definitely be back once another late night pizza craving hits!

Just your typical late-night greasy yummy pizza. We went in at 11:30 on a Sunday night. What we ordered: My boyfriend and I split a medium veggie pizza. It was enough to leave us satisfied, but we could have gone a size up and still even it all. I was very impressed by the quality of the veggies! They were nice and fresh. I don't know if I would ever be super compelled to go back, but I enjoyed my experience overall at Pointers!

Excellent is all I can say. This was the first time ever having there pizza and we ordered the 28" and it was the hit of the Super Bowl party.

We attempted to complete the Pointersaurus, with FOUR people and still could not complete the challenge.. The last team to do this was 4 years ago. Pizza was decent, tons of toppings but quite doughy. I'm an IMO's fan when visiting St Louis but had to try this challenge out!

The owner called me twice after my pizza was delivered. I worked in the restaurant service before and a firm believer that your "tip" is earned. However due to me picking up a shift I ordered a pizza for my daughter and in the memo wrote "leave at the door" the driver kept knocking after being told on the camera to LEAVE AT THE DOOR. After my daughter got her pizza and the owner calls me harassing me about the tip. It really was a honest mistake because I'm at work and was doing it fast. I even said I could come by and drop it off. But then he continues to badger me and I hung up, he calls back and started again I disconnected. I was appalled. Oh one more thing when I asked for the callers name he refused to give it.

Pointer's is a solid, A-OK above average fast order pizza joint. What makes it stand out from other fast-food pizza, is their New York style. I was on my home from a Happy Hour in Clayton and needed dinner. As I drove down Big Bend, I started to crave pizza and Pointer's came to mind. My go to pizza toppings are sausage and jalapeño and that is what I ordered. They were not stingy with toppings and they do not use provel - win, win. My 12" pizza was enough for two meals. The service at the counter was friendly and fast. I was surprised, just stopping and ordering my pizza had me in and out in 12 minutes. I'd recommend Pointer's over Domino's. Will I return? - If in the area and I need a pizza. When: October 19, 2017 Why: Dinner

    Fabulous pizza

Great pizza they deliver and it was fast ! They also have cheese cake. I would recommend this to everyone!

Picked up two Pointersaurus pizzas today for our son's birthday! Was a HUGE hit with the kids, and the pizza was really delicious.

The Pointersaurus pizzas are not only impressive, but really tasty too! We ordered 2 for a park birthday party, and they were a hit! Thank you!

The POINTASAURUS is Pointer's renowned mega-pizza that first caught my attention. Didn't order it, but the pizza box on display looks like it could feed a small family, AN ENTIRE WEEK. Carry-Out & Delivery available, late night too. Went the pick-up route to catch a glimpse of inside operations. Entrance is NOT easy to find. Located in a clutter of different boutique shops, the sign out front doesn't even say the name, Pointer's, anywhere. Instead, there is a yellow awning that just reads 'DELIVERY [] TAKEOUT'. Had to walk in and confirm I was at a pizza place. Ceilings were noticeably low, being in the basement of a complex. With such a deep kitchen, it was humid & muggy inside. Anxiously raced home for the unboxing of my large, Deluxe, which includes sausage, green pepp, & mushrooms. A notable wide-cut, each slice had a great flop to it. Northern, outer-crust had widespread sauce coverage. Although, the heavy amount of cheese gave the pizza core an under-cooked grease effect. ***Huge supporter of local, ragtag pizza parlors. Experience is usually on their side, but unsatisfied with the final product. I know pizza, and Pointer's Pizza fails to impress. NO RANCH available in-shop, had to use my own supply at home. smh.***

Delivery Review Order was delivered accurately and the guy brought it into the house which was nice. Pizza was good and definitely plenty for 15-20 people. Would order again for a party.

I got a thin crust and salad. Both were good. I will order again. I wouldn't want it any thicker. The sauce and cheese ratio were also good.

I'm so satisfied!…read more Neon Greens is in The Grove, and from the outside you'd never guess how cool it is inside. You walk into this older building and it just opens up into this bright, clean, almost energizing space . I went with the Umami Crunch with tofu and... yeah, this is the kind of place that makes you realize how rare a really good salad is. Like, when do you ever eat a salad and think, "the lettuce is incredible"? That happened here. Everything tasted fresh in a way that's hard to explain unless you've had it. And then you find out why--they literally have a hydroponic farm attached. Not just for show either... they do tours, and a lot of what you're eating is coming straight from there. It makes the whole experience feel different in the best way. The portions are huge, super filling, and still somehow feel light and clean. I also grabbed a local blue spirulina kombucha that ended up being one of the best I've had. If you keep wandering toward the back, it turns into this almost maze-like space, and on weekends they do a pop-up called Biscuit Town with breakfast items (including vegan options). It just keeps going. Honestly, I walked in craving a REALLY good salad and left wondering why it's so hard to find places like this. This is one of those spots you go to once and immediately know you'll be back.

I'm glad I stopped in and really enjoyed my lunch. Go try it for yourself.

That's the vibe. We started on the front patio on a Friday night and quickly realized we'd made a mistake. The doors to the interior were open and the music -- a rock-forward playlist that night -- was loud enough that we considered bailing. Our server, was unbothered when we asked to move up to the rooftop. Where we met with a new bartender and server, London, who rolled with it, got us resettled, and from that point on the night was great. London was clearly handling the bar and most of the rooftop tables, but she was attentive throughout, and made eye contact, which seems a near miracle from many 20-something these days. Bumping the score up just for the flexibility on the table move alone. The food: crab cakes were genuinely good, not life-changing, but well above the weak-crab-cake bar that exists in most of the world, served simply with capers and a small salad. I went off-script and ordered the wagyu burger medium rare with fontina (London mentioned cheddar is the more common pick, but the Fontina offerd a great alternative). The burger was deeply flavorful and cooked exactly right, but here's my one real note for the kitchen: toast the brioche bun. Wagyu medium-rare puts out a lot of juice, and an untoasted bun loses its structural integrity about three bites in. A quick toast would let the bun keep some additional integrate and keep up with the perfectly cooked beef. The pom buff were great, the best elevated patato tots you may come by. Beyond what we ordered, the Greek salad is a longtime go-to -- chopped, with grape leaves and pita, available in a small or large, and easily dressed up into a light meal with or without adding some protein or can be share as a self-dress bruschetta appetizer for the group if you ask for extra bread. The cheese boards are also a reliable pick. The wine list is extensive (it's a wine bar, after all), but they don't sniff at cocktails -- I had a solid fine old fashioned, and my wife shared had a Malbec that paired well with everything. Lots of gluten-free options across the menu, too. What Sasha's gets right is that it has refused to become precious. "Wine bar" reads as pretentious to some people, but this place runs as a neighborhood spot. You'll see college kids dressed way down, couples on dates dressed way up, Hawaiian shirts, oversized sweaters, the full range. It's the kind of place where you can split a bottle with your girlfriends, meet a date for drinks and a quick bite without committing to a full dinner, or roll in for brunch on the weekend. Different times of day, different vibes -- always approachable. 4.7 stars. Loses a few tenths for the front-patio music situation and the weak burger bun, but more than makes up for it on flexibility, food, and overall hang factor.

There were a few open tables, but we were asked to wait by the door while they "got situated." Meanwhile, a walk-in who arrived after us was seated at a table we had been waiting for. When we were finally seated, we were placed in direct sun. I asked if we could move to a shaded table in the corner and was told it was only for parties of three. After explaining we'd just be there briefly for a drink, we were allowed to sit there, but the interaction felt dismissive. From that point on, the experience felt rushed. We were pushed to order quickly, our menus were taken right away, and the check came almost immediately. It made what should have been a relaxed stop feel uncomfortable and transactional. I understand how busy restaurants can get, especially on nice days, but a little more consideration and courtesy would have gone a long way.
