Hot Chicken Wings
Hannah M.

The salad was nothing special. It was a little smaller than I thought a full would be but still tasted good. I was impressed by how many dressing options they had including lots of light options. The pizza was delicious. They didn't skimp at all on the toppings (we got a deluxe). It was ready super quickly and tasted hot and fresh. The hot wings had a good kick to them but not so much I couldn't eat more than one (and I'm a wimp about spice). I'd definitely order again, but maybe just get pizza. That was the real star of the meal. I also love that they're open late!! A perfect spot to grab food from during night shift when most places in the area are closed early.

The amazing Pointersaurus Pizza! It took ten of us to finish it!

A Pointersaurus Pizza was shared with everyone in The Jolly Rogers of Kansas City and Bounding Main of Chicago after our recording session at Smith/Lee Studio. This was an amazing food adventure that complimented a very fun day!

Solid option for pizza in STL, especially late night! We ordered take out and the pizza and toasted ravioli were done in less than 10 minutes. The Mastodon pizza was loaded with toppings and had a nice, crispy crust. The toasted ravioli were also crispy with great meaty flavor packed in. I also appreciated the ample amount of sauce provided. I will definitely be back once another late night pizza craving hits!

Just your typical late-night greasy yummy pizza. We went in at 11:30 on a Sunday night. What we ordered: My boyfriend and I split a medium veggie pizza. It was enough to leave us satisfied, but we could have gone a size up and still even it all. I was very impressed by the quality of the veggies! They were nice and fresh. I don't know if I would ever be super compelled to go back, but I enjoyed my experience overall at Pointers!

We attempted to complete the Pointersaurus, with FOUR people and still could not complete the challenge.. The last team to do this was 4 years ago. Pizza was decent, tons of toppings but quite doughy. I'm an IMO's fan when visiting St Louis but had to try this challenge out!

Excellent is all I can say. This was the first time ever having there pizza and we ordered the 28" and it was the hit of the Super Bowl party.

The owner called me twice after my pizza was delivered. I worked in the restaurant service before and a firm believer that your "tip" is earned. However due to me picking up a shift I ordered a pizza for my daughter and in the memo wrote "leave at the door" the driver kept knocking after being told on the camera to LEAVE AT THE DOOR. After my daughter got her pizza and the owner calls me harassing me about the tip. It really was a honest mistake because I'm at work and was doing it fast. I even said I could come by and drop it off. But then he continues to badger me and I hung up, he calls back and started again I disconnected. I was appalled. Oh one more thing when I asked for the callers name he refused to give it.

Pointer's is a solid, A-OK above average fast order pizza joint. What makes it stand out from other fast-food pizza, is their New York style. I was on my home from a Happy Hour in Clayton and needed dinner. As I drove down Big Bend, I started to crave pizza and Pointer's came to mind. My go to pizza toppings are sausage and jalapeño and that is what I ordered. They were not stingy with toppings and they do not use provel - win, win. My 12" pizza was enough for two meals. The service at the counter was friendly and fast. I was surprised, just stopping and ordering my pizza had me in and out in 12 minutes. I'd recommend Pointer's over Domino's. Will I return? - If in the area and I need a pizza. When: October 19, 2017 Why: Dinner

Fabulous pizza

Great pizza they deliver and it was fast ! They also have cheese cake. I would recommend this to everyone!

Picked up two Pointersaurus pizzas today for our son's birthday! Was a HUGE hit with the kids, and the pizza was really delicious.

The Pointersaurus pizzas are not only impressive, but really tasty too! We ordered 2 for a park birthday party, and they were a hit! Thank you!

Deluxe Pizza - Large

The POINTASAURUS is Pointer's renowned mega-pizza that first caught my attention. Didn't order it, but the pizza box on display looks like it could feed a small family, AN ENTIRE WEEK. Carry-Out & Delivery available, late night too. Went the pick-up route to catch a glimpse of inside operations. Entrance is NOT easy to find. Located in a clutter of different boutique shops, the sign out front doesn't even say the name, Pointer's, anywhere. Instead, there is a yellow awning that just reads 'DELIVERY [] TAKEOUT'. Had to walk in and confirm I was at a pizza place. Ceilings were noticeably low, being in the basement of a complex. With such a deep kitchen, it was humid & muggy inside. Anxiously raced home for the unboxing of my large, Deluxe, which includes sausage, green pepp, & mushrooms. A notable wide-cut, each slice had a great flop to it. Northern, outer-crust had widespread sauce coverage. Although, the heavy amount of cheese gave the pizza core an under-cooked grease effect. ***Huge supporter of local, ragtag pizza parlors. Experience is usually on their side, but unsatisfied with the final product. I know pizza, and Pointer's Pizza fails to impress. NO RANCH available in-shop, had to use my own supply at home. smh.***

Delivery Review Order was delivered accurately and the guy brought it into the house which was nice. Pizza was good and definitely plenty for 15-20 people. Would order again for a party.

The Best Dining Experience We've Had in St. Louis - Hands Down…read moreMy husband and I wanted to give our dear friends who are leaving St. Louis one last unforgettable meal from their bucket list, so I immediately recommended Peno. I used to be a regular at Rosé with the same talented Chef Pepe, and his food is truly to die for. We walked in on a beautiful day and were lucky to snag a spot in their small parking lot (parking in the area isn't the easiest, but it's worth it). Our server, Harry, made the evening even better right from the start. He had such a warm, calm, professional presence--the kind that's rare these days. We instantly remembered his name thanks to a fun Harry Potter / Harry and the Hendersons reference, and he handled everything with effortless skill. When our friends had parking trouble, Harry quickly offered helpful suggestions. Then, when it was time to order, he elevated our meal in the best way possible. My husband and I got our longtime favorite--the Roberto pizza from Rosé days--and Harry suggested adding sausage and peppers. That small tweak took something we already loved and made it 1000% better. Absolute perfection. Our friend ordered the spaghetti (her all-time favorite comfort meal), and after taking Harry's thoughtful recommendation, she declared it the best spaghetti she's ever had in her life. We finished with the cheesecake. I'm extremely picky about cheesecake, but this one did not disappoint--it was creamy, rich, and flawless. This was one of those legendary meals you remember forever. The kind where you leave thinking you could die happy. Chef Pepe's food, paired with Harry's outstanding service, made it a perfect night. If you're in St. Louis, do yourself a favor and go to Peno. You won't regret it. Thank you, Harry and team--you helped create a truly special send-off for our friends!

This was the experience at a different location we tried 2 days prior. Nonetheless, the food was just as delicious! It was made fresh. The mini is the perfect size. I got a regular size last time and I only ate half and took the other half home. My teen son (big appetite) couldn't even finish the regular sized one. We ate at this establishment twice during our vacation, so that should tell you how good it was! If it was up to my teen, we would've eaten there a 3rd time! The food is great. During our latest visit, we ordered the chicken parmesan, lasagna, and rigatoni without lobster, and started with the arancini balls. Every dish was absolutely fantastic, but the real star of the night was the lasagna. This restaurant's lasagna is truly one of a kind and unlike anything you've probably tasted before. It's layered with pistachios, pesto, and squash, creating such a unique balance of creamy, nutty, and savory flavors. It was rich without feeling too heavy, and every bite felt incredibly comforting yet elevated at the same time. Definitely one of my favorite lasagnas ever. Their wine selection never disappoints either. I've also tried a couple of their bourbon cocktails, including the "For the Streets" and the "Black Manhattan," and both were amazing. We kicked things off with the toasted ravioli, and I can honestly say they are some of the best in St. Louis. You can tell they are handmade in-house--perfectly crispy on the outside with a delicious, savory filling that pairs beautifully with the marinara. We also shared the prosciutto di parma, which was sliced thin and had a wonderful, authentic flavor that set a high bar for the rest of the night. For the main course, we tried two very different but equally amazing dishes: Pepperoni Pizza: The addition of hot honey was a game-changer. It added a bold, spicy kick that balanced the salty pepperoni perfectly. Cacio e Pepe: This was truly spectacular. It's a simple dish that is hard to get right, but this was easily the best I've ever had outside of Rome. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the peppery flavor was throughout. To drink, we ordered the Old Dolce Vita, their unique take on an Old Fashioned. It was expertly crafted and really showed off their skills behind the bar--smooth, balanced, and a great companion to the meal. Our server was fantastic--attentive and made sure we had everything we needed, but also gave us plenty of time to relax and enjoy our conversation. We never felt rushed, which made for a perfectly paced and memorable dinner. We will definitely be back
