    Portuguese Sausage Musubi
    Katherine B.

I absolutely love real poke from the islands, that focuses on the beautiful flavor of the fish itself. It's super hard to find that here in CA. So I am so excited I have 2 locations of this authentic mom and pop shop close by! I've been to the other location and loved it, and I'm so happy this location is amazing as well! Super duper friendly. Easy parking. Seating inside or outside, what more can you ask for? I had the 8 oz tuna poke with shoyu after it was recommended to me. This is by far my favorite topping. I would come back here every day to have this if I could. The flavor is clean, savory, and light, perfect complement to the fish. This is 10/10 flavor, 10/10 authentic. I had the linguica (Portuguese sausage) Musubi. It was cold which I'm not as used to BUT it was jam packed with flavor! I love a spam musubi but this was a great way to mix it up. My Portuguese family would love this combo! If this was warm, this would be a 10/10. I will definitely be back!

Solid poke!!! Fish quality was fresh and buttery - true Hawaiian poke, highly recommend to fix your craving

ORDER spicy mayo salmon (3/5) california tuna (4/5) not the best, but not the worst. i usually prefer salmon over tuna, but the tuna was a lot better here. the california tuna was more flavorful. the spicy mayo salmon was lacking. portion wise, i expected a little more. i feel like they can save plastic by putting everything in one bowl, rather than separately in small containers. SERVICE very kind and patient! i had a few questions since this was my first time. my order was ready quick. AMBIANCE plenty of parking. a few tables and seats inside.

This is the first time I am trying Poke and More just a tip. Tuesdays is poke Tuesday, which is 8 ounces of poke with two scoops of white rice and a drink. The salmon poke is 1299 and so is the tuna poke no tuna poke is 1229 so you can have up to two flavors for your choices. They also offered garlic rice and Filipino specials. The one thing I've never seen on other menus to show you chicken and huli huli chicken These will be the items I will need to try next. The service is pretty quick. The ambience is a little old, rundown, but still well-maintained and kept as clean as much as possible. I will be making my assessment regarding the taste of the food and will update my review once I've tried the food.

Super fresh tuna, flavorful shoyu sauce, and the perfect sesame/onion balance. Clean, light, and packed with flavor without overpowering the fish. Great poke

Stopped by Poke & More and ordered their signature bowl (1 poke + 2 toppings). I went with spicy tuna, sliced cucumbers, and seaweed salad. Their tuna is super fresh and tender. This is the kind of place that focuses on quality and it shows. If you're looking for Hawaiian-style poke that lets the fish shine, try Poke & More. Would 100% come back. 5/5

It's been years since I've been back but their poke I just as good as it was back then! They have a lot of options and their Tuesday poke offering is a really good deal. The mac salad was a major miss though. The pasta was super hard and overall lacked flavor. Bad batch maybe? We won't be ordering it next time lol Service is fast and they have lots of seating inside.

    Loco Moco - DOUBLE
    Tiffany V.

Absolutely love the poke and the loco moco here! We ordered a total of 12oz of salmon/tuna and a double loco moco to share between two people and it's the perfect mix of both fresh fish and a warm savory dish. Service is always friendly here. They do close from 3-4pm for a break. This is a nice place to have lunch in between errands, grocery shopping next door at Ralph's, or after working out at LA Fitness. Plenty of parking outside, and plenty of indoor seating. There are also a couple of outdoor tables as well.

One of the best poke places I've been to!! The fish just tastes so fresh and they have a great variety of sauce. I got the sweet and spicy and that is definately my fave! I got the spicy garlic and it had a pretth good kick to it. The service was super quick especially with such a long line.

I'm glad I was in the area to stop by and support a Filipino-style poke place. There were so many flavor options, I decided to get spicy garlic tuna, sweet and spicy tuna, and spicy miso salmon. They were all delicious and were very fair priced for the amount of fish I got. The workers were also very helpful and informative since it was my first time. I will definitely be back!

A friend and I found this spot on Yelp when we were craving poke and wanted something nearby. It's a small shop, but when we came in it wasn't busy at all, so we were able to grab a table right away. Service was solid -- quick, polite, and straightforward. Everything came out as expected, and there weren't any issues with our order. I decided to try the salmon poke burrito, which ended up being really good. The concept was fun and the flavors were fresh, though it was a bit pricey for what you get. That said, I understand that's pretty standard for poke spots in general, so I can't hold it against them too much. Overall, it was a good experience and worth checking out if you're in the area and craving poke. It's not a place I'd go out of my way for, but I'd definitely recommend trying the poke burrito at least once -- it's unique and satisfying.

Have never had a disappointing meal from this place. If you dine in, you have to get the Loco Moco platter served on a sizzling skillet. For the poke, you can't go wrong with creamy Japanese or spicy garlic.

This is the spot! Lots of options, and great marinate variations. Try it out! I love me a good poke burrito and they serve up a one fish or two fish options.

I doctored mine up with slices of Cheezewhiz and salted egg at home. I think the names of the pastries are deceiving because they lack the actual flavor that they're named after. Stopped coming because I felt like I was just paying $20 per visit for something sweet that didn't have depth in flavors. Also, after reading the clap backs from the owner on IG/Yelp reviews towards other patrons, it has turned me off and made me more hesitant to support her business. The guy though (sorry I don't know his name) is always at the counter and super nice!

My wife, her mom, and I stopped in for lunch and we really enjoyed it. My wife and I had stopped into Edna's a long time ago when we first moved to Long Beach, so it was time for a refresher. My wife and her mom shop at the nearby Tambuli for Asian groceries, so knew the parking wouldn't be too difficult in this part of town. The steam tables were jam packed with food, freshly prepared that morning, and there were some things I had not tried before. Thus, was nice to come with other folks. It took me a while to decide. The first steam table had 9 entrees: - Mom wanted Pinakbet which she later stated was good. - large strips of Lechon were chopped for you when ordered, and was a good addition to share. - other dishes included Kambing (available everyday), Pinapaitan, and Kaldereta (made with goat so we skipped it). The second steam table had 10 entrees: - Adobong Pusit - baby squid with adobo and squid ink sauce. I've come to realize that most Filipino restaurants don't have the time to remove the innards (guts and cartilage, which I've found to be inedible) while keeping the ink sacs, as they cook it. So I did it manually while eating, making this a finger food dish (very messy). Went great with the white rice, though. Mom made a good point that some folks consider it edible, similar to the shell of shrimps. - also chose the sinigang with pompano, since bangus was only available deep fried. Every entree with come with a cup of the soup, but if ordered as a choice, will come with a choice of fish piece (head, middle, or tail). The soup was good, very sour (which is how I like it) and not oily. -- final choice was Chicharon Bulaklak, deep fried pork intestines using the fatty mesentery tissues, to produce a flowery looking finger food. It came in a paper bag. It was the first time I tried it, and I liked it, though too greasy to have more than one piece. -- other choices were deep fried bangus, deep fried smelt, boiled peanuts, and a decent selection of sweet rice flour desserts. The ladies manning the steam tables were very friendly, and were receptive when I asked for a sample of the fried smelt dish. Servings were generous, and often came in separate soup containers to make eating easier. There is a large dining room with simple seating, and self bussing. It's a tried-and-true set-up that works well at other point-point places (so many in the area). Ended up getting two 2-combo plates ($14 each), served with white rice. Added 1/3 pound of Lechon Kawali for $6.48, which we all shared. In general the food was good, in large quantities, and presented with pride. Canned refrigerated sodas are only $1, so got cans of Sprite, Sunkist, and Squirt (maybe my favorite mass produced soda of all time).
