    Golden milk tea with boba
    Nicole R.

The place is really clean. Its kinda dark and it was empty, which is never a good sign. The front desk is weird and there was no overhead menu. The table menu was in a basket next to the register. The guy at the counter was indifferent. I ordered the Golden Milk Tea with 50% sweetner and boba. It was still really sweet and tasted artificial. The boba was small and tasted low quality. I was going to order the tofu bites but they were almost 9 dollars. Now im glad I didnt given how mid the tea was. The table I sat had water dripping on me from the ceiling. I left immediately.

Worth the mention to dine at Hiccups Kitchen. I went around 12:41 pm on a Thursday to do some studying and it was pretty empty, which I personally loved. Most people came in, grabbed their food, and left. The restaurant was clean, spacious, and even the bathrooms were very clean and honestly really cute for pictures. I was surprised because you wouldn't even think they had a restroom like that inside. The staff was friendly and attentive. Keira was super sweet and the manager was professional and present the whole time. Now let's talk about the food. I ordered the Pad Thai because I wasn't in the mood to try anything too new and wanted something I already knew I liked. The serving size was great and it came with chicken and tofu, which surprised me, but I'm not complaining because it was delicious. Everything was hot, flavorful, and fresh. BUT the real star for me was the Vietnamese iced coffee with the ube foam on top. When I say that knocked my socks off... it absolutely did. I literally woke up the next day thinking about it. I would honestly go back just for that alone. It's not close to me, so now I'm trying to figure out how to get my hands on another one without making the drive every week because it was THAT good. Keira told me I wasn't going to sleep after drinking it and she was right. I got so much accomplished that day though, so honestly it was worth it. Good music, clean environment, fast service, flavorful food, and an amazing coffee. Definitely would come back.

Once upon a time, this Faerie Queen needed something refreshing and sweet. After a flat tire on the way, I finally arrived. The strawberry twist was a lovely drink for a hot and crazy day. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Thanks for making a bad situation not so bad after all. The end.

NOT JUST A BOBA SHOP I've known hiccups for a long time. From their original location, the Carson location and its current one. I've always considered it just a place for drinks/ dessert. Never really needed to get food from them. But the food SLAPS! I had I had the ribeye pho and it was better than I expected. Didn't taste watered down, and the ribeye was great! Comes in a small bowl, but half of it could have been enough. I underestimated the pho so I had ordered extra popcorn chicken and fries. Holy, the portion is huge. I thought it would be small. It was super fresh, and extremely hot. Cajun seasoning optional. I recommend. Have a meal here, it's not just a boba shop.

It's a pretty amazing place to eat esp with mixed amount of food to choose from. Wasn't expecting much coz we just wanted a quick meal but to our surprise their food actually tastes flavorful for a cafe. Impressed by the amount of chicken placed too on their pad se-ew. The place is clean and definitely great service as the server was anticipatory of our needs etc. Highly recommended

    Sea Salt Green Tea

My brother recommended this spot, especially their popcorn chicken. Unfortunately, I didn't get the chance to try it this visit, so I ordered the Sea Salt Green Tea instead. I really enjoyed the tea--the flavor paired perfectly with the creamy sea salt foam on top. The space is spacious yet cozy at the same time, making it a great place to relax and hang out. I'll definitely be back to try the popcorn chicken next time.

Stop by on the way to the gym to pick up some VNese coffee since I got a coupon for buy one get one free. They just open so very quiet, clean spacious with minimal decor and music. The place is tuck in a small shopping mall area with Target, shops, restaurants and a bank. The menu is with pho, noodle dishes with appetizers. Prices range from $10 and up. Also coffee and boba drinks. The service is good. Will have to come back to try the foods. Ps, the coffees were not completely filled with ice, it's more of 1/3 iced and 2/3 coffee- good coffee, was hoping more stronger sort of slap in the face to wake me up asap...lol

Love the popcorn chicken bowl! Chicken is hot and crispy with a delicious sweet and sour sauce.

Stopped by Hiccups in Long Beach and it was a decent experience, though a bit hit or miss. I went with the garlic noodles with shaken beef the noodles themselves were tasty and full of flavor, but honestly, save your money on the beef. The quality wasn't great and the dish is much better plain with just the noodles. We also tried the popcorn chicken with sweet chili and ranch. Pro tip: skip the ranch it doesn't add much. Stick with the sweet chili, which is really tasty and makes the chicken shine. For drinks, I grabbed the horchata milk tea and my girlfriend had the fruity booty. The horchata milk tea was just okay it didn't really deliver on that classic horchata flavor. The fruity booty, on the other hand, was delicious and definitely the better choice between the two.

Soo good! I've came here and ate the special with the chicken and rice bowl. It's a nice environment! The matcha ube was good! Definitely recommend for those who want a good lunch spot near CSULB and the VA

From the fresh and crisp Spring rolls to the Spicy dumplings, and the our delectable, savory Pad Thai. Our Drunken Noodle dish, we ordered mild in spice level, but was mouth watering and delightful! We mentioned it to our friends, who were also here for the same convention, one couple ordered Door Dash the other 5 tried it and every single one of them were not dissatisfied. There's loads of amazing Thai places in Long Beach but you tend to go you the ones you like. I been to a good amount where they're highly rated but something about them isn't what I'm looking for. Some tends to be very Americanize, others are just whatever but people love them. I like what I like and this place is one of them. Like mentioned, whenever I'm in Long Beach a visit here is always a must. The service is amazing as all the staffs are very friendly and welcoming. The place isn't that big but a fairly decent amount of seating on both side. They do have a table out front but it's only one. Menu has pretty much a good selection of Thai dishes. I like what I like and tend to go for the same items as they are one of the place that makes it the way I prefer. And why is it some Thai places don't offer their classic dish, the boat noodles. I've been to a few and they don't offer it while some places, it's not that good. Here, it's alway consistent and very flavorful. That a must for me and alway ordered. We also love the papaya salad which you can have Thai style or Laos style. Depending on what your preference is. Their larb is great as well. Very flavorful and tasty. Of course our main items we tend to get here, the boat noodles which I love as it's flavorful, broth is perfect and all the extras added. Also all their curries are excellent. Lately we've been getting their massaman curries which the flavors is really nice. Whatever protein you like. The curries do come with a side of rice but an extra order is alway needed. Love it to have with the papaya salad and larb. All their dishes are great and very flavorful. Spice level varies on what you like but I tend to go with medium and add all the extra spices for myself with their sauce selection. We tend to alway be full even before being asked if we wanted dessert. The food is always amazing and the staff are always friendly and sweet. There's two restaurants that's a door apart and both are great but this one takes the cake for me. It's always a must when I'm in town as I know the food will alway be delicious. Highly recommended. Heads up, parking in the area is a bitch. It's all residential so people tend to stay in or else they're going to lose their spots. Just a heads up.

So, I found this S T Noodle Bar near by and decided to give it a try. I kinda know what there guys like to eat, so I just ordered a bunch of food. The only request from anybody was for Pad Thai, the most common dish at all Thai restaurants. I GPS my way over and order the food. I was Khao Soy on the menu and I don't see that at too many Thai places that I've been to, so I got an order of that with chicken. Of course, an order of Pad Thai, 2 orders since I have 5 hungry people to feed. Also, I ordered the Thai coconut soup, I think it's called Tom Kha with chicken. One more noodles dish was the Drunken Noodles, it's kinda like Chinese Chow Fun, but has a more spicy flavor and basil in it. The food was all pack and bagged for me to take back to the hotel. We used my room since I have a bigger room. We had plates and set ups for all five of us and we re-plated the food on the serving plates that came with the room. All the food was really tasty and everybody was happy not to have to leave the hotel. I heard compliments on the Pad Thai and the Coconut soup.
