spicy crab, hawaiian ahi tuna, spicy salmon, hawaiian salmon over brown rice. veggies. wasabi cream, extra spicy mayo, el sauce.

I've tried a lot of poké spots, and this one is easily one of my favorites. The fish is always fresh, the ingredients taste high quality, and the flavors are clean and well-balanced. Not to mention the generous portions. What says it all is that I'm willing to drive 35 mins just to get a bowl from here. It's one of those places that consistently hits the spot every single time when I'm craving poké.

    Enough said

I won't lie, it's definitely been a while since I've been here. This is the best Poke place in town. Everything is fresh, full of flavor and the staff is very nice, and the best thing is they have Coke products!

If you haven't been to Poke Bistro--or it's been a minute--do yourself a favor and swing by. I was genuinely surprised (and delighted) to find they now offer a Poke Burrito . Two scoops of your favorite protein, all the classic toppings, wrapped up in a handheld masterpiece. I went with a mix of spicy tuna and Hawaiian tuna, and let me tell you--poke was meant to be eaten burrito-style. Everything melds together perfectly, with just the right balance of flavor and texture. Service? Top-notch. My poke chef/server was super helpful when I hit the sauce-selection crossroads. She recommended a combo of wasabi and ponzu drizzle that elevated every bite. That kind of thoughtful touch makes a big difference. Freshness Flavor Friendly service Fair price Don't be shy--poke burrito might just be your new favorite thing. Go try it!

A yummy option near UCR and they do not skimp while preparing your bowl. Spicy salmon and tuna are my go-tos. Toppings are generous and the bowl is loaded up nicely. There's seating inside and the place is clean and well kept.

Right when I walked in the owner walked out with freshly made Ahi Tuna and Hawaiian Salmon trays so I knew what I had to try. Ordered myself a 4 scoop bowl but added an extra scoop of Roasted Eel since I've never seen that on a poke menu before (Worth). It's actually insane the amount of variety you get to choose here from the sides to the proteins to the toppings and even the sauces (look at the photos I attached) . I was a bit overwhelmed but in the best way since I didn't know how I would construct my monstrosity of a bowl. Everything was fresh and you can tell by the texture of their fish. I'm in the Riverside area here and there so I'll be sure to stop by again!

    BYO, plenty of fresh toppings

I love this spot! I keep meaning to eat-in but I usually take it to go and eat back at work or home. Very bright and clean - and the fish/ingredients are usually covered with trays, when there isn't a line. Probably helps with the quality, which is so fresh. You get a ton of options and the staff are always really kind and patient. I think I was actually thanked, when I was able to just hand over a post it with the bowls I was grabbing for some colleagues.

Best poké in town. So fresh all the time. It's worth our hour drive to come get it. Totally recommend it. Exceptional quality and service too.

my new go-to spot for poke in riverside!! recently my friend reccomended this place to me as they had a change in management and wow the quality of fish has changed so much, and in the best way! the fish tastes so fresh here, they prep the fish as it runs out as to not let the fish go bad and the difference shows. the owners are so so sweet and generous with the scoops as well. the hawaiian tuna and salmon are my favorite to get here and i will be returning again to fulfill my poke cravings ..

Ordered the Pineapple Coconut Wontons and here comes another problem. She then was having issues with the register ringing up my order for me to pay. My order was done before I paid, because of the system, taking it's time...I guess. When my total popped up on the screen, it was much higher than I expected. Then I realized, it auto populated a tip on there. Anyone not paying attention, can easily miss that, and I'm one of those people that goes through prompts fast. But I knew my total should have been in the $8 range and it was $10 and some change. When I took the tip off, it went back down to $8. They are one of those places, that charge for using a card as well. On the other hand, the wontons were good.

If I were to suggest one thing, it would be to allow for greater customization of the plates. The next day I went for the first time, I was in a hurry and I only had 20 minutes to be back at the hospital. Although I wanted shrimp and or a fish that was going to take 20 minutes to make it and I did not have that to give. The cashier lady said that the barbecue beef would be the fastest thing to make so I went with that. I ordered two. I got that in about 10 minutes and I was able to rush back to the hospital in time. Later, I was eating this on my way home and while driving and can I tell you that this was GOOD. I really wish I was sitting at a table to eat it because I just wanted to chow down, but I could only take quick bites at lights so I was very sad about that. The next day, I decided to stop by again because if you find something good, no need to go somewhere else. This time, I was with my mom and based on the pictures on the wall, she chose the Hawaiian fried rice mix and we decided to share it. There was so much food. We were both able to eat and each had leftovers to eat the other half the next day. The food is really good and I will definitely be back. I've never been to an Ono Hawaiian BBQ so I don't have any comparison. I went for lunch with my…read morehusband since we received a coupon in the mail (buy one plate get one free). We ordered the Island Fire Chicken plate, grilled chicken breast plate (I selected teriyaki instead of the lemon pepper), guava pie, and a large drink. It's worth noting that unless specifically listed, they use dark meat chicken. Both plates came with 2 scoops of white rice, 1 scoop of macaroni salad, and 1 scoop of steamed veggies. Island Fire Chicken plate (6/10): my husband ordered this. I did not try it as I do not eat dark meat. The staff likened the spice level to higher than Sriracha. My husband was disappointed it wasn't as spicy as he was anticipating. Keep in mind spice is subjective. He wasn't a fan of the charred bits of chicken as the texture was too tough. He said he'd order it again, but it's nothing to rave home about. Grilled Chicken Breast plate (2/10): I ordered this as it was the only item in the menu with chicken breast (white meat). It was a disappointment. This is completely subjective, but to me, it was giving processed chicken. Like Tyson in the frozen food aisle. Also, it was not cut on the bias so it was difficult to eat. I gave up after one bite. I'll be giving the rest to my dogs. Macaroni salad (7.5/10): tasted good at first, but as I got closer finishing it, it started tasting fishy. I had just raved to my husband about how happy I was that it did NOT have ham. Just to find out it has tuna instead. I do not eat seafood so this was a disappointment. It wasn't great until the fishy taste overpowered it. My husband (who loves tuna) was a fan. Steamed Veggies (5/10): Frankly, it's hard to mess up steamed veggies. I was expecting more broccoli or other veggies on my plate. I got a bed of cabbage and ONE tiny broccoli floret. So did my husband. No shade to cabbage, but I expected more variety based on the menu photos. White Rice (10/10): The only saving grace was the rice. It was as expected. Simple, steamed, white rice. Hula Guava Pie (4/10): My job dropped (literally) when I saw it wrapped in plastic packaging. It was just sitting on the counter between the registers. I guess my greatest disappointment was in expecting it to be like the hand pies at Jollibees or McDonalds. They're obviously not made fresh in house, but they're warmed up and packaging nicely like a sweet little gift. So my expectations were shattered when I got this overpriced pop tart. You can certainly taste the guava on the inside, but it tastes quite processed. I'm a guava snob so I understand I'm being harsh. It did have the same texture as a pop tart. Plenty of parking outside. It's in a private lot in the same complex as a Target and Chick-fil-A. It felt a tad pricey. Without the coupon our total would have been closer to $38. With the coupon we paid $22.80 which felt like a great value since the portions are generous. I love that they have katsu and teriyaki sauces readily available. There's a pump with little cups so you can help yourself. The katsu sauce is vinegary which I'm not a fan of, but my husband enjoyed. We both enjoyed the teriyaki sauce. It wasn't too thin or too thick in texture. The staff was friendly and helpful. My seating recommendation if you dine, as soon as you walk in the door, sit on the right side. The left side is near the restroom (down the hall). I have a very sensitive nose and could smell the cleaning products. It's a non issue if you're not sensitive. Overall, I personally would not be back for myself, but husband enjoyed it. If you're into dark meat, or willing to try a different protein, give it a try and see for yourself. But personally, I've learned Hawaiian food is just not my cup of tea.

I believe at a certain point it was a Polynesian Mexican fusion restaurant based on photos, but during my visit, it's definitely more skewed to being a Polynesian restaurant. It's in a somewhat suburban area, so there's street parking and you may have to walk a bit, but we were able to find parking just right across. Park Avenue is a mini mart and shop, along with a restaurant. Hot foods, baked goods, shirts and apparel, jewelry, imported snacks and sweets, canned and jarred foods, and a fridge with some drinks and to go goods too. I was already super full already, but we were able to try a bit of the food and take the rest to go. Pretty generous portions and very unique food that is a bit more difficult to find elsewhere. We got the Taupou Plate which is a 3 item plate order with 2 side items. For this, we chose the lamb, turkey tail, and curry and for the side items we got the banana and taro. Interesting mix of sweet, creamy, savory, and umami. I'm not the biggest fan of turkey, but turkey tail isn't a very common "cut of meat" to order. Really rich, tender, and a bit greasy, but if you love turkey, this is perfect for you. Nice mix of flavors with this order and has the most variety. Definitely get this if you want a little bit of everything. Lamb meat was also moist and rich as well. Unique eats and great welcoming service as well!
