A great lunch spot if you're into seafood, located on the busy Fulton street. Stopped by for their "crack rice" which is basically deep fried sushi rice topped with whatever seafood you want. I ended up getting the spicy tuna which had a very weird look to it as if it came out of a tube lol but it tasted good (but not GREAT). I don't have a problem with the quality of the food but more so the price point ($14 for 6 pieces). Not something I'd get on the regular but a great snack here & there. Would stop by to try their actual poke bowls one day, they look great for lunch.

Tried the plenty size Poke Bowl. Amazingly fresh and delicious! The young man who assisted me made sure to explain exactly what came with the size I picked and made some recommendations too. Great service. Everything looked fresh and I def tasted it too. Plenty size comes with two proteins, I went with spicy salmon and spicy tuna and white rice. They have cooked proteins too. You can pick as many add ons as you want, guac and avocado are an extra cost. I added fish eggs, red onions, mango, spicy mango, jalapeños, corn, tomatoes, cilantro, all the crispy toppings, dry and fresh seaweed, scallions, edamame, and spicy mayo. Came to right under $18 after tax. Took a little to mix it all together, i recommend mixing all the ingredients for a full experience. It was filling, yummy, and i will for sure be returning for another Poke Bowl.

This was my first time trying a poke bowl. At Poke Bowl you can create your own bowl or Poke Burrito. Additionally, you can order any of their specialty bowls. Even though I know that a poke bowl is made with raw fish, I still get the "hot" bowl. The Korean BBQ pork bowl is the only one I've had, and it's the only one I want to get right now. It's a delicious blend of salty, sweet, with just a hint of spice. It has mango, cucumbers, sriracha - Oh it is so delicious. 4 stars.

Certainly the best poke bowls I've found in the city with a wide selection of different options for base, protein and toppings. Servings are very generous and the staff is very friendly. And since moving across the road there's also more space to dine in.

A typical poke bowl place with a good amount of options available. Usually have 2 servers in the front with quick service, not necessarily friendly, seemed distracted but was still quick and knew what the sauces consistent of. There's a good amount of seating on the first floor with simple interior, not really any decors. I got the snack bowl for $10.45 (before tips and tax) with one protein. And was able to put almost any toppings in with the bowl packed in the end. It's a pretty small bowl but it's got a good amount leaving me full. Food was pretty decent, would prefer a bit more sauce but they do offer soy sauce packets as well.

Food was good, as I was ordering I guess the staff couldn't hear me well and added stuff I didn't ask for. They didn't close the lid properly on my order so when I went down the block to Popeyes it spilled in my bag :/

(Overall: 87% | B) - I have gone to both the FiDi and SoHo locations and frequently go for lunch. I think the place has pretty high variance, but overall I like the large array of toppings available with some interesting pairings like wasabi peas and kimchi. There is a wide selection of proteins from hot options including shrimp tempura which are quite good to some standard fish like salmon or tuna, sometimes which may be more fresh than others. The service has pretty high variance as well, but overall I am rather content with the quality and diverse set of options to create a bowl. IG: @amei.eats

Always hits the spot. Got the plenty salmon bowl with spicy and regular salmon and almost all the toppings. Also got 3 different sauces: ponzu, house, spicy mayo. The iced tea was a good beverage to wash this down with.

There are many options you can have at this poke place. I got a plenty bowl and decided to get salmon and chicken teriyaki and it was really good. Unlimited sides you can add onto your bowl. I think the guacamole is the only ingredient that you need to pay. Other times I get raw salmon and spicy salmon and it's very fresh! I wish there was more seating though because most of the times when I try to find a seat, it is mostly gone.

Ask the Community - Poke Bowl

Do they have sunomono or just plain cucumbers?

    Do they have a website?

Their menu lists pokebowl-nyc.com but the page still doesn't exist. Their instagram is @pokebowlnyc though.

The soup was nothing special, so I think I'd opt for a side salad next time instead. The bowl was packed with an impressive variety of toppings, including salmon, peanuts, fried onions, avocado, oshinko, tamago, and seaweed salad, all topped with a sesame dressing. While I appreciated the generous portions and the freshness of the salmon and vegetables, the bowl felt a bit heavy overall. There was a lot going on, and I found the amount of fried onions and peanuts to be more than necessary. The sesame dressing was tasty, though there was a bit too much of it for my preference. I also noticed that the tamago and seaweed salad tasted premade and a bit sugary, which took away from the light, fresh quality I usually look for in sushi. However, I know that sweetness is fairly common for those ingredients, and I think many people would like this hearty style of poke. Since the fish itself was fresh, I would happily order from here again and will round up to 4 stars, though I'll stick to their regular rolls next time to keep things a bit lighter.
