    Large Poke Bowl
    Dante B.

My husband and I were craving some fresh fish, so we stopped by since we live nearby. The inside was very clean but completely empty when we arrived. We were served by who we assume was the owner, but unfortunately the interaction wasn't very welcoming. The overall attitude felt off-putting, as if he didn't really want to serve us. Sadly, I have to agree with other recent reviews mentioning unfriendly service. I ordered the three hand rolls (salmon, California, and spicy tuna), and my husband ordered a large poke bowl with tuna and salmon to go. I wouldn't order the hand rolls again--the rolls were about 80% rice and very light on fish. When the California roll ends up being the best one, that's usually a red flag. The poke bowl, however, met expectations, and the quality of the fish was satisfactory. Overall, I'm not sure I would recommend this spot. The service left a bad impression, and the prices felt high for the portion sizes. Parking: Large shared lot with multiple businesses; should be no problem finding parking.

Very clean and welcoming atmosphere providing delicious fresh quality poke bowls. Food: Charred salmon bowl - 5/5 - torched to your liking from lightly to well done Build your own bowl - 5/5 - love all the fresh proteins, veggies and array of toppings that are avid to add on Ambience: Small to medium seating area Service: Fast and friendly

Coco was amazing and so sweet! This is a great place and I can't wait to come back in to dine in. Lovely spot so many options!!

A Small Build Your Own. All the proteins that I love. Friendly staff and good food. A new favorite of mine.

I got the small build your own bowl. I love it. I get double protein and all of my favorite things. The staff is friendly and the food is good. This is becoming a new favorite of mine.

Big portions with good quality fish and toppings! I ordered takeout from here and I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity of the poke bowl. The miso salmon was great, though the tuna quality was a little lower. They have many options for toppings and sauces. Can't say much about the service and ambiance, but I would definitely order from here again!

the food was AMAZING and so was the service I got the miso salmon I definitely recommend it.

The food was AMAZING and so was the service and environment. I got the miso-salmon bowl. Definitely recommend

Hand rolls (salmon, tuna, and California). They were a bit too generous on the rice, but was delicious overall

We got the "special" buy one pound get the next pound free so we did shrimp. We got shrimp, sausage, corn, potatoes, and dungeness crab with the special blend in one bag. The hook and reel special blend was honestly pretty gross it was sweet, Smokey and not very buttery or salty at all. We asked for lemon pepper and extra butter to put inside(which was an extra charge) it made it a little better but I've definitely had better elsewhere. The garlic noodles were really good they had a soy sauce flavor, garlicky and cheesy. The price was pretty expensive considering I've spent $30 less elsewhere. Here at hook & reel I spent $96 The service was good. She was very kind and helpful but also wasn't very attentive. The restaurant and the bathrooms were very clean. Overall I wouldn't come back and I recommend going to Captain crab in Elk Grove it is so much better tasting and cheaper!!

SIDE NOTE-to anyone going there 5 or more party, it's automatic 15% gratuity. JUST KNOW when someone orders to-go while dining, that to-go amount will be added to your dine in bill, of course meaning the gratuity tip will be higher on your final bill due to that to-go order added. They will not make any changes for you there if you try to apply logic. Guess you have to pretend to walk in the door to order or call in while you're sitting down to place the order to-go to avoid it being part of the total bill. Hopefully they change that system because why would you charge to-go orders as part of the dine-in to rack up the gratuity tip for an under par service!? When I questioned the server how does it make sense and she said yes we can cancel the order and call it in rather than just taking the initiative to separate the orders. Make it make sense or maybe I'm just over reacting but it does seem like a way to get more money out of folks. Receipt name said nana and she had a bit of an attitude. I know she already got her tip automatically but at least display some customer service hospitality along the way. First time trying it and likely will be sticking to crab city or boiling crab instead when I crave seafood boil.

Molly was our waitress, and she was amazing...super friendly, attentive, and very helpful with questions about the menu. She even told us about their Thursday karaoke nights. We ordered the seafood boil with shrimp and mussels in the Fusion sauce, mild spice level. The sauce was incredible! It had so much flavor without being overpowering. I came across edamame under appetizers. Based on the description, I ordered it. I love me some spicy edamame, especially when it's seasoned very well. I got my order to go, got home and when I opened the edamame, it was not what I expected. It was sitting in liquid. The description of the edamame under appetizers says nothing about it being in any kind of liquid or sauce. So I revisited the establishment tonight, which is Friday (the next day). I explained to the employee taking my order what I expected based on the description on the menu and what I got. I even showed her pictures. She said she's never seen edamame made that way (not in sauce) even though there's a picture of it being made that way under their Yelp profile. There was no attempt to rectify the situation so I left it be but it is a bit disheartening to order something with a specific description, then you get home and your order is not what you thought it would be and then there is no recourse provided. Based on this experience, my tip for future patrons is to ensure you get clarification on an item if you are trying it for the first time because it might not come in the same way it is described on the menu. I've been in contact with some very personable employees here who are amazing when it comes to customer service so I will definitely be back. I made a reservation inquiry for my birthday at exactly 5:00 PM on Saturday, April 11, for a party…read moreof two. I was told the earliest available reservation was 7:45 PM. I then asked if there was any chance of being seated sooner as a walk-in, and Aubrey told me they had room for two at a table in the bar area. I specifically asked whether it was an actual table where we could comfortably order food, because I did not want to be stuck at some tiny corner setup where only one plate could fit. I also made it clear that it was my birthday and that I wanted something a little more formal and comfortable. I was told it would be in the front by the bar, not shoved in a corner, though it could be a little crowded if people were in the waiting area. When we arrived, the first issue was parking. For a first-time guest, parking was unnecessarily difficult to figure out, especially during a rainstorm. Since the restaurant is set up like a small house, it was not obvious where to park, and there was no clear sign letting us know there was parking around the back. Once we walked in, I immediately saw the table that had been described to us. It was right near the bar against the wall, and it was much smaller and more awkward than I had been led to believe. My girlfriend was wearing a dress, and because it was such a high table, it made it uncomfortable for her to sit naturally and comfortably. As soon as we sat down, I looked at the table and asked if we were really going to be able to order multiple items and eat comfortably there. I was told they would "pace it" and "make it work." That should have been the warning sign right there. We started with two ice waters, and even that nearly filled the table. They brought a pitcher and poured the water into the glasses. I asked for a separate cup of ice, and because there was so little room on the table, I had to ask the waiter to take the glass back and pour it for me so I would not spill everything. That is how cramped this setup was. We ordered the chicken breast special and a half dozen oysters. First came the garlic bread, and now we had bread, butter, two waters, silverware everywhere, and barely any room left. Then the oysters arrived, and everything had to be shifted around just to make it fit. At that point, the table had bread, oysters, hot sauce, waters, and multiple pieces of silverware for each guest, and it felt like one wrong move would send a glass to the floor. After we finished the oysters and bread, they cleared the table and brought out our entrée. We ordered the shareable chicken breast after I specifically asked whether it would be enough food for both of us. The waiter said it should be. In reality, it was about four small pieces of chicken once cut, three asparagus spears, and two very small scoops of mashed potatoes. For the price, it was honestly disappointing. I cannot remember the last time I paid that much at a nicer restaurant and still left hungry. What made it worse was that they knew it was my birthday and did absolutely nothing to acknowledge it. No small dessert, no candle, no gesture, nothing. Ironically, the only people who made the night feel special were another couple who had apparently been dining there for years. They overheard us mention it was my birthday and kindly bought us two sparkling wines. That was thoughtful, but it also added even more clutter to an already ridiculously tiny table. The service overall was underwhelming. We were barely checked on, and the whole experience felt awkward. The hostess kept staring at us throughout the meal, and at one point, she rolled her eyes when she went to take the Tabasco sauce, and we told her we still needed it for the chicken. For the prices Boulevard Bistro charges, I expected much better service, better communication, and a much more comfortable dining experience. Instead, the whole night felt misleading, cramped, and disappointing. I will not be coming back.

Well in 9 months, since I had the pleasure of dining at Sky Port, some upgrades, renovations and…read moreasthetics have been made and changed. I loved it just as it ORIGINALLY was, but the upgrades are AMAZING... The main entrance has been totally remodeled and a beautiful bar has been added. They also changed the tv area, in the main entrance, to look like the windows of an airplane instead of playing destinations on the screen, which I LOVED, because it enabled me to see sky views of places I have never and may never visit. They were playing soccer, which I understand, because the world is watching the World Cup. One of my favorite things was the hot, moist hand towels given at the beginning of your meal. I LOVED it. I thought it was so elegant and sopisticated. I am not a fan of washing my hands and then eating from a public restaurant, touch on the door to enter and exit. Now they provide the hand towels at the end of your meal, but this is fine dining, I am not using my hands to eat, and I have a napkin, if needed. So, I would prefer to cleanse my hands at the beginning of my meal. I sat in the newly renovated area which looked like the inside of an airplane. Sooooooooo, DOPE!!! It was BEAUTIFULY done! Felt FIRST CLASS, all the way. The furniture was AMAZING and looked elegant and high class. Some things on the menu had changed, but that is to be expected. My meal was delicious. I loved the free glass of champagne with my 1/2 dozen order of Oysters, which were scrumptious. They also updated their front patio, where after my meal I enjoyed a cigar. Plenty of seating. Every table is covered by HUGE umbrellas. What I thought was cute and unique, when I had finished my meal and paid my bill, I was given a token. There are gift machines inside and on the patio. I really wanted the Unicorn key chain, which I did not win, but I thought it was a nice touch for the kids and the kids at heart with adult wallets. Lol.
