Great tasting poke bowl with fresh ingredients. Love their protein options! Employees greeted every customer that walked through the door within seconds.

Food is delicious! So fresh and healthy quantities. Andrea was so funny and sweet! Welcomed us in and answered questions from my son. Thanks to her I'll definitely be back!

This is the best bowl combo. Add a little bit of soy sauce.

Probably the best poke in town. Pretty decently priced. Employees are very nice. See attached photo for the best bowl combo.

This was my first time at poke cube. I was amazed by the friendly stuff. I didn't get the girl's name but she was very helpful. The food was fresh and the price was great. The restaurant was clean and the painting on the wall was nice. Reminded me of Hawaii. I will definitely be coming back.

    2 scoop bowl. Yum.

I got the 2 protein bowl. Half kale half rice, a scoop of spicy salmon and shoyu tuna. Got almost all the toppings and spicy Mayo and garlic ponzu. Everything looked and tasted really fresh and delicious! The lady who served us was friendly and helpful. I will definitely go back soon.

I visited Poke Cube as one of my places that wanted to eat for takeout while in the Sac area... and lo and behold, I read the recommendations and everything that they offered. Though I got takeout, my experience was rather exquisite and interesting. Food: 5/5 There was quite a big amount of selection to choose from... from ahi tuna, to garlic shrimp, and more! I honestly was impressed by the selection. There was also kale too, as well. Service: 5/5 They were really eager to help out, honestly, and gave me good recommendations. Keeping it short, but that's all I had. Atmosphere: 4/5 Though the restaurant was okay with the food and everything, I felt like the one thing they could have improved was the fact that they could have been more careful with the bagging.

Omg! I love the food at Poke's Cube. I feel like they always use fresh ingredients and turns out to be a really delicious meal. Staff is welcoming and nice. And the place is spotless!!

Went here for lunch for the first time. The service was great and fast. Food was amazing.

I love me a good poke bowl and this place doesn't disappoint. My only complaint is that I don't like their hours: I wish they'd stay open a little later (currently close at 8PM) and they're closed Sundays (which tends to be the day of the week we're more likely to want to go out for a meal). However, the food is always fresh and the portions generous. I usually get a 2 scoop bowl and my husband a 3 scoop. They charge an extra $1.50 to add avocado, FYI. Also, today I noticed they had a sign stating their prices will go up May 1, 2023. I'm curious to see by how much, since we already pay around $30 for just 2 bowls when going out with the hubs. Nonetheless, based on the quality of ingredients, the price increase is probably justified. Come give them a try :)

I have to update my review because I come here a few times a month now. Yes, it's THAT good. The prices are higher than years ago, understandably, due to inflation, but I have a new perspective: it's worth it! I used to think a poke bowl from here was too expensive and an occasional treat but a 4 scoops bowl, which I always get, is $19.50 for SUSHI GRADE fish! Chipotle is like $13 for some regular chicken you can make at home yourself. The poke bowls here are WELL worth the price due to the high quality of sushi grade poke + they load up the bowl generously with toppings. Download the Clover app and ask them to check you in each time. After 12 check-ins, you get a free 3 scoops bowl. My go-to order is usually 2 scoops of ahi and 2 scoops of salmon (all not marinated--I love how they have non-marinated options) or I'll replace one of the scoops with scallops (also not marinated). Then, I get the base as white rice, add green onions, masago, wakame, ginger, crab salad (if I'm feeling fancy), avocado, pineapple, fried onions, furikake, and my favorite sauces: honey wasabi and mango. I ask them to add the sauces on at the end so that every topping gets the sauces. Absolutely delicious! Get your fix before Sunday because they are closed on Sunday!

I went to this restaurant for lunch on a weekday with less than 5 minutes wait. The overall food is alright, but one thing I want to say is you shouldn't put pineapple into the bowl I tried it and it was not good due to the sweetness from pineapple kind of mixing of the flavor of the bowl. I think it was around $16-18, but I forgot the exact number. I came from Southern California so my expectation was a bit higher than this, but overall it's still good.

Ordered the Trio BBQ plate and the spicy chicken plate. Both lacked that Hawaiian flavor overall and the BBQ char, but it was decent. The beef was the star for me, while my partner did not like the spicy chicken at all, hardly touched it, but really enjoyed the Spam Musubi and the macaroni salad (which she normally hates from these spots). The spicy chicken just tasted like pure spices, almost like Indian food, but if it wasnt cooked down enough. Which is fine if thats your style, I am sure some people love it. Overall I think for the price its a decent spot. Seemed pretty busy and in my opinion is far better than the other franchise option I will not name. Saw people using coupons so keep an eye out for those. Great service, clean restaurant, decent sauce options and it didn't take long for the food, which seemed to have been an issue with other reviews.

We decided to try something local and came across Big Island Hawaiian BBQ, which was a close enough drive from where we live so we figured, why not give this spot a try? Overall, we had a really great first experience. The quality of the food stood out right away as everything tasted fresh, flavorful, and well-prepared. We were honestly very impressed with how good everything tasted. Even though the portions aren't as packed as some other Hawaiian BBQ spots, the food absolutely hits all the Hawaiian flavors and cravings we love, and we left very satisfied. The pricing was decent (slightly cheaper than other Hawaiian food spots), the interior was clean and well-kept, and I appreciated the designated sauce station on top of having sauces at each table for convenience. To top it all off, the Pineapple Dole Whip was the perfect dessert as it was light, refreshing, and such a great finishing touch. Another big thing to note is that they offer Musubi Mondays, where you can get 50% off musubis. My husband immediately noticed the sign for it in the front of the store and was so excited. We thought how it was such a sweet deal that we are already considering coming back on a Monday just for that to stock up on musubis to eat at home. However, there is a max of 2 orders per customer for the Musubi Monday deal, but still totally worth it to try. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is purely because of portion size compared to other Hawaiian places. The spam musubis are also a bit small in size compared to other places that make spam musubi but the teriyaki sauce that goes with it makes it better! That said, the quality, taste, and overall experience definitely make up for it! This is officially going to be our new go-to spot for Hawaiian food moving forward, and we're excited to come back again soon!

We walked in to a fairly small but busy restaurant thinking it would take a while for a table but to our surprise we were seated quickly. The server was quick to help us and bring us water which is always great but there is one thing that could've been done better. We were just seeing other tables that came after us , getting their food and we had nothing. We didn't really get an update as to what was taking long or where our food was which was the bummer part. They did make up and give us a 10% discount and a free orange juice which was greatly appreciated. So props for that The food wasn't the worst but also it wasn't something that made me think WOW this is good. I usually don't get gravy with my loco mocos and mostly judge off the meat flavor and this one was lacking seasoning. My wife's waffle was just good nothing crazy and the chicken did taste fresh which we most definitely enjoyed. The mango syrup that came with it though wasn't too much of our liking. It tasted mostly like a mango candy syrup mixed with hot sauce. Overall our experience was alright but not the best..... I don't know if I'll make the drive out here to get some "Hawaiian" bites as I do feel there's better spots in Sacramento. Everything is all subjective to experience and ours was just alright.

I shouldn't have to place another order and pay twice when I paid once :( then I would have to go through DD to deal with another hassle. There are even classic vintage French poster prints on the wall with an island touch of plants hanging and the music of Polynesian reggae in the background. The menu is great with lots of items to choose from as well as a wine list. We started with a mimosa carafe with 5 different juice flavors to choose from like mango, strawberry, passionfruit, orange, etc. I ordered their Loco Moco which was good but nothing out of the ordinary. I did love the way they cooked my burger patty (medium), so it had some nice char texture. My friend ordered the garlic shrimp with coconut fried rice. This tasted delicious and very authentic. It was better than some dishes I actually had in Hawaii. The French toast was regular and tasted nothing different than other's I've tried. It was toasted more than the usual to give it some crispy texture in which I loved. Overall, this bistro is phenomenal, and I will definitely take my family here for brunch next time.
