Best, best, best poke I have ever had! Everything about poke cube is amazing. It's so good, I started coming here weekly. The fish is so fresh and flavorful, and I have never felt uncomfortable with any of their fish/meat. Their long list of sauces are all amazing, and the rice tastes fresh no matter what time you come in. My favorite proteins: Ahi Tuna: 5/5, the tuna bits are cut in a perfect bite-size amount. It's just the perfect amount of chewy. The flavors are subtle enough so you can add any sauce to complement it, but the flavors are also amazing on its own. Spicy Ahi Tuna: 5/5, they just started serving this, and it's the best new menu add! It's a slightly spiced version of their ahi tuna, and it's amazing! It adds a bit of kick to your bowl, yet still goes well with any sauce you choose. Great choice of fish. Garlic Shrimp: 5/5, i'm drooling just thinking about their garlic shrimp! It is perfectly seasoned and just the right amount of garlic flavors. Great fish if you don't want something too "fishy." Overall, poke cube is amazing. The staff is always consistently friendly and sweet... they've been known to throw in little free treats with my orders or a thoughtful sticky note. Such a kind gesture! The restaurant is very clean and well kept - note: you cannot eat inside. Their poke bowls are sooooo BOMB!! ALWAYS fresh and crisp! I love to mix it up by adding different ingredients each time. My go to proteins are garlic shrimp and shoyu tuna. The spicy Mayo sauce and spicy ponzu are the jam!!! Ordering online is my go to. It's easy and quick. This place gets pretty busy during the lunch rush, so it's always nice to simply walk in, pick up and go! They're always attentive to you when you arrive to pick up, I have never had to wait. Wow, that was a nice surprise; one of the better poke bowls I've had outside of the Hawaiian islands. I was in the area staying at a close by hotel for a sports tournament and was looking for a healthy option in the land of chain restaurants. I tend to steer clear of both chain restaurants and fast food but sometimes there is no other option. That being said, finding Poke cube was like finding a refreshing pool on a hot summer day...perfection. I was also appreciative of the recommendations and A+ service I received on my visit. I like to limit my carb intake and was so glad I was able to enjoy a delicious bowl made with kale instead of a heavy bowl of rice. I wish I had this in my area. I stopped by here while I was in the area for a doctor's appointment and wasn't disappointed. They have an option to check off what you'd like to order on paper or you can just go up to the counter and point out what you'd like on it. I ended up sorta doing both as I didn't know what everything was on the paper and it's nice to have a visual. They had plenty of different toppings to choose from and they had a nice assortment of hawaiian drinks and snacks to pick from as well. Holy smokes my poke bowl was delicious! The garlic shrimp and the spicy salmon were fresh and tasted delicious together. I wasn't sure if the two scoops would be a big enough portion but they hook it up and I was stuffed afterwards. I loved the selection of sauces and toppings to choose from and am already looking forward to my next visit! It was scorching hot outside so we ended up eating in the car. I ordered a regular poke bowl with shoyu tuna, scallops, spicy salmon with shoyu sauce and mango sauce with mango slices, pineapple chunks, cucumber slices, and sliced avocado. Fish was fresh and good. Half of avocado for a $1. Worth it. The only two regrets I had from this place was that 1) not enough sauce or not mixed well because without the protein, rest of the bowl was not flavorful. 2) rice got stuck on the bottom of the bowl. I just moved from Hawaii and from what I hear, there is no good Poke place in Sacramento area. I yelped and this place has 4.5 stars, and decided to give it a shot since I was in the area. I could see this place is popular as people keep going in. You need to fill out the order form outside, proceed to inside for payment and wait outside for your order, or you can order online ahead of time. A bowl with 2 scoops of fish is $10. Honestly the amount of fish they give you is little. You might not notice because of all the toppings tho. So I am guessing this is the limit of Poke I could get in Sacramento. The fish quality is okay, and I do like their topping and sauce choices. I sure miss the poke packed with super fresh fish in Hawaii, but the poke from here hit the spot in my poke craving tummy for now. read more

The menu was kinda confusing but luckily I've been to enough poke places so I know the drill. But I'm sure it could be overwhelming to any newcomer. I love that they have daikon noodles as a base option! I did half daikon and half white rice. It was a ton of food for a small bowl! The fish itself was okay but nothing spectacular. I was more focused on toppings since I was super excited they had more pickled veggies than other places. Their sauce options are pretty extensive too, and you can pick as many as you like. I picked honey wasabi and spicy mango, so together it was a really sweet mixture but I asked for spicy ponzu on the side to put over my rice after and it definitely added more flavor to the rice and noodles. I love Poke Cube!! I'm so glad they opened up close to my office. They're definitely in our monthly rotation now! I'm pretty boring with protein - I just get the plain tuna, but that's because they mix it with as many sauces as you want!!! I do the garlic miso, ponzu & a little spicy mayo and I'm halfway to heaven tbh. The toppings are awesome. The crab is really really tasty. We've all had nasty crab at poke places... shudder. They really pile the toppings on here and they have lots of different flavor bombs/texture options. As poke goes, Poke Cube is one if the best options I've tried in Sac. Inside dining is back! They still have the ordering sheets that you can use to order your food but they are also allowing walk up to the glass to order as well. They have quite a bit of toppings but it seemed like the amount of rice was much less. The proteins is still the same which under the toppings felt like next to nothing. Flavor was good, but doesn't hit the mark if you know what poke should be. The rice was really warm almost hot. Hot rice and raw fish doesn't mix! I got lukewarm poke I paid for 3 scoops of protein and I got less than 4 oz and 2/3 a container of rice. The spicy salmon didn't have much sauce to it, same with the shoyu ahi for $20 with tax and adding avocado. Also the knife work on the fish was horrible. It looked more shredded than cubed and was very inconsistent. If you have have never had poke, I'm sure it will be enjoyable. But if you know the real thing and are missing the island, stay away! It will just make you sad... Please take a trip to Hawaii and hit up a Foodland and learn what real poke is!! You will get a pound of beautiful poke for less than half the price, all fish, no rice. read more

It had been FOREVER since the last time I had poke, so you already know how excited I was! I was in the area for the day and decided to check out Poke Cube. Upon entering, I noticed how pretty the wall decor was and also how busy they get at lunchtime. I stopped by a little before noon, just before the rush hit. I ordered a 3 Scoop Bowl (~$13) with brown rice as my base. For proteins, they have plenty of raw and pre-marinated options. I went with raw salmon, raw tuna, and garlic shrimp. I also mixed in a little bit of red, white, and green onions. It was difficult to choose from the sauces so I went with a mix of Spicy Mayo, Garlic Miso, and Honey Wasabi. Surprisingly, the three mixed well together. I got a little bit of the sriracha, miso, and wasabi along with the essence of honey and garlic. For my toppings, I went with crab salad, seaweed salad, cucumbers, and avocado (+$1) topped with masago, fried onions, and fried garlic. The total came out to ~$15 which is roughly the average for poke bowls nowadays. It is a pretty pricy meal. This is definitely one of the better poke bowls I've had. The poke is super fresh and the toppings were plentiful. There was too much brown rice, in my opinion. It seemed more as a filler. I would rather have had more of everything else. Nonetheless, this bowl kept me full for hours and I definitely left feeling satisfied! I definitely recommend Poke Cube to get your poke cravings fulfilled! read more
