For Poke on the Mainland, I'd have to say, this place is pretty darn good. I was pleasantly surprised. We've been to a few Poke places and it made us miss Hawaii that much more. We both ordered the Build Your Own Bowl. You can choose from 3 or 5 scoops of protein. I had 2 scoops of ahi tuna and 1 scoop of yellowtail. My son ordered his with one scoop of salmon. I believe it was farmed salmon. It was a pail orangish color and he didn't like it much. The protein was topped on either spring mix salad or rice, or both. We chose the sauces and the our toppings. They offered a pretty good selection of toppings which looked fresh. I picked mango($1extra), masago, ginger, seaweed, avocado ($1extra) furikaki, green onion and crab salad. The Bowl cost $12.95. It was just enough. I enjoyed the taste and thought everything was fresh. The restaurant was clean and I liked the simple decorations. I will be back! read more

Home of the Original Poke Bake - I agree. They had something different that stuck out to me before all the poke spots started popping out of no where! I know they aren't an "original poke spot," but the Poke bake is delicious & original. Their normal Poke Bowls are yummy too. I came in to PF just hoping for a good meal, but my expectations were far exceeded. Freshness and quality, superior customer service, affordability. These guys don't just do Poke right, they do EVERYTHING under the sun right. Their original Poke Bake is a masterful creation, they take the flavors of their raw signature items and transform the flavors to a whole new level by baking it. Mind blown. Portions here are huge, make no mistake about it, you don't get what you paid for, you get so much more than that. It's hard to write a review for pick ups only. So based on my visit, I'd recommend it. It's not far and it has a friendly environment. The workers wear masks, I have not seen them take them off once while they're servicing customers. Tables were pushed aside and chairs were stacked so there is no sitting down for obvious reasons. I came for the sushi bake which my nephew was just begging for. We got four plates of it. It's about a small size of 5 x 7 maybe for $9.50. After our server is done putting in the rice and sushi, they take it to the back to bake. Bakes about maybe ten minutes or so. While we wait, there is no sign where to wait since there are three other people inside. The server was quick though and was able to take care of them leaving one customer left before our food came out. Overall, I will try this again when everything opens up. I mean, the food is good. I'd like to try their spam musibi next which is unavailable at the moment. read more

This is the only decent poke place within miles from my work and I always come here for lunch. But one problem I continuously encounter is their portion control. They're very inconsistent with how much they give. You can see comparing my bowl with my boyfriends the difference. He has a large empty space in his bowl and it wasn't even filled. Mine was done correctly and is filled properly. His "one scoop" of tuna was like 5 pieces max. If it wasn't for him being so gracious and our lack of time, I would've gone back and said something because this is unacceptable. We don't pay $12.50 a bowl for a partially filled bowl. read more

they have a poke bake---basically like a sushi roll but layed out instead of rolled. i used to make these at home all the time with some girlfriends. i added ahi tuna for an extra charged but instead i got both salmon and ahi. added an ice cream sandwich too my total came up to almost $19. probably because i got charge for each fish added? but the bake itself was huge and i could only eat half! the only thing i wish was the added fish was more pieces. and i kind if wish i ask to add more sauce to it. ill try that next time. read more

The customer service was great, they were very friendly. I came to try out the poke bake. My friends ordered a sushi burrito, spam musubi, and a poke bowl so I was able to try a variety of the menu. The fish in the burrito and bowl was fresh. The spam musubis were delicious and a great snack on the side and great for others who may not like raw fish as much. My favorite was the poke bake of course, I never tried or heard of a poke bake before Poke Fix and it really is a game changer to poke. It's a great dish to share with another person if you aren't to hungry since there is a good amount of fish and rice in the bowl. The sauces on top weren't too overpowering and didn't take over the whole dish so I really liked that. This place is amazing. I discovered it when I came next door to pick up a Bundt cake. I've tried everything available on the menu from the Poke Bake (got it plain with no fish, flavor was good), Poke Bowl (I'm a salmon lover so this hit the spot), and my all time favorite Poke Burrito (Salmon & Shrimp). I frequent this place as it is near my work place and I absolutely love it! The inside is clean, bright and modern with some seating but they fill up fast during lunch time. So get there early! The staff are nice and the line goes quickly so it's perfect if you have a 30 minute lunch. The poke is wonderful here whether you build your own bowl or order a bowl on the menu it's simply delicious. The components are fresh and there are lots of items to choose from to build your own bowl they even have habanero masago. The poke bake was also very good I had to modify mine because I'm allergic to crustaceans but it was delicious it's pretty rich so you will definitely get full. I enjoyed Poke for the first time: Yesterday at Poke Fix, in Natomas area of Sacramento. I ordered the large bowl $13.45 which comes with '5 scoops of Protien' My base was only spring mix salad. My proteins were salmon, shrimp and ahi tuna (I recommend getting the spicy tuna instead) . My mix in was green onions and dried seaweed. My sauce was only garlic shoyu. For toppings I got fried onions, fried garlic (can you tell I like garlic?), wasabi, crab salad, and I paid $1 extra for avocado and an extra scoop of crab salad. Total before tax: $15.45 . Really like sushi, influenced me feeling comfortable to try Poke. I wish there was a bit more flavor, but perhaps it is supposed to be that way. I know, you might be reading this and thinking "you got all that, and you're saying you wish there was a bit more flavor?" Yes! But you know what? It was really good. The avocado could have been sliced into small cubes (takes 8 seconds to do that to the pre-sliced avocado they use) but the ingredients were fresh, the amount of food was filling. I was helped by the petite-looking Asian lady and she was sweet enough to pack everything in, so I could get my money's worth. The quality is there too. It reminded me of the poke I had in Hawaii.
