Very good Poke with all my favorite options for toppings. They are so friendly and even helped me pick what to add in! I loved the Mac too!

I came here for lunch with some friends. It's located inside the WAL Public Market. I ordered the yuzu albacore bowl with half rice and half salad and added an extra scoop of salmon. I felt building my own bowl would have ended up costing a lot more with all the add-ons. The bowl was decent, but not the best I've had. In my opinion, the poke bowl at Fish and Things in Elk Grove tastes better and doesn't come with additional charges for extras.

The original Hawaiian is SOOO BOMB!!! :)

I've come here so many times. But somehow I always forget to leave an updated review. So I was headed home from a 3 week road trip to a bunch of land locked states and I never eat fish in states that are not near the ocean. So needless to say I've been fish deprived... so of course a visit to my favorite poke spot was in order. I had a small Hawaiian style over rice and a coke and it hit the spot for sure!

Always a good time here. There's shops to look at if you are waiting on your order. The employees are super kind and the food is usually fast to come out if you aren't making your own bowl. I come often for the beef gyudon rice bowl and get extra cucumber salad cause it is soooo crispy and yummy. I like their seating arrangements but can be busy on some days. There is both indoor and outdoor.

I absolutely love this place and can't recommend it enough! Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff is consistently friendly and welcoming, making every visit a great experience.

A trip to Fish Face Poke Bar was long overdue. To be fair, I've visited WAL Public Market many times, but somehow it's always been when Fish Face is closed. Today I was in the area and took full advantage of them being open! I took in the full menu, including their specials and ended up ordering the Super Musubi ($6) and a Medium Poke Bowl ($16) and added charred scallion ($0.50), masago ($1), and wakame salad ($1.50). The staff there was very friendly and helped with some suggestions for sauce combinations and toppings. I paid and waited for my order to be ready. Since Fish Face is at WAL there is communal seating inside and outside for customers to use. I waited near the pick up area as others grabbed their orders. It was really busy during lunchtime. When my order was ready they offered me wasabi, ginger and soy sauce and I accepted some ginger. It was nice of them to do that. There were also chopsticks and napkins available. I took the food home and snapped a couple photos before digging in. The Super Musubi was unique, not my favorite version of musubi, but worth a try. I think I enjoy regular musubi better and the addition of the cheese skirt didn't do much for me. The poke bowl was great though. All the ingredients were fresh and flavorful. I opted for half salad and half rice base and I mixed everything together before eating. The salmon and tuna I got in my bowl was really fresh and paired perfectly with the sauces and other ingredients. The ingredients I added for extra were delicious, but $1 for a scoop of masago and $1.50 for wakame seemed a bit much for the portion they added to the bowl. Overall, I really enjoyed it though. I'll be back for more of the fresh fish and delicious sauces. I'll probably pass on adding "extra" toppings in the future. Overall a great option for lunch though.

Best Poke outside Hawaii I ever tasted. Love the Hawaiian Style without rice - more Poke less filler. They have plenty other fresh options if you prefer. The Manoa with Hawaiian Ginger is very unique never seen it other places. Staff is always friendly. build your own is always a hit as well. If you lucky on a day when they have Mac Salad as a special - don't skip it!

The fish quality is top tier however as someone who eats very little, the small size is still not enough. You have to get at least the medium size because with the small, all you get is toppings and a few pieces of fish. I actually prefer that it doesn't come with a ton of toppings bc you get to appreciate the fish more. I like to get the medium size and add masago with rice and greens. Service is very fast (usually) and there is cute indoor and outdoor seatings. It's pricier than other places but the fish is consistently fresh!

    medium bowl hawaiian style

they have the BEST poke in the area i've never had a bad experience there and their fish is always fresh. I would super recommend their creamy cilantro pesto sauce it's so good.

    Super musubi

The super musubi was delicious!! I had it delivered and it arrived still warm. Spam, cheese, sriracha....?! Are you kidding, sign me up!!!! Next time I'm ordering a couple of these! So good

Are you hungry? My opinion of the 2 medium poke bowls was $40+. Expensive and not filling, but customer service was great

You can't put a price on freshness and great service! Did I forget to mention Poke is so good for you ;) Next time order extra organic brown rice, that'll fill you up :)

Same window for beer and food. If you order food you're given a number that people deliver food. Came here for happy hour. I got myself a pretzel with add-on cheese, a pulled pork (seasonal) Belgie with fries, and I sampled other food that my friends ordered. Firstly, the 1L beer is worth it. Not happy hour prices., but well worth the volume. It definitely transported me back to my visit to Munich and the beer halls. Oh, I do miss the drunken singing of the Germans lol Secondly, the food was just okay. Pretzels were thankfully cheaper since it was happy hour but i paid $1 for the add-on cheese. The mustard combo sauce was great. I wish the pretzel was a bit bigger. I appreciated the warmth and the salt ratio; not overpowering. The Belgie (waffle sandwich) was also on happy hour. The texture of the waffle was great. Crisp exterior, soft interior. I ordered the seasonal pulled pork which was great in texture and decently portioned. It is a thick boy, so biting into it was a bit of a challenge. Ended up deconstructing the sandwich and used utensils. Sauce maybe would've been better on the side. Fries always win. No complaints though I wish I ordered the garlic fries... the smell was good. One thing I didn't get to try was their famous, Starbust drink which is a mix of beer, cider and some frosty, maybe. The color was intriguing and everyone seemed to order it around me. The misters were on, which was a blessing and a curse. Definitely helped cool me down, but also became a nuisance as the table and all my belongings got wet. Excited for their new location in Old Sac. Maybe a revised review in the future. Stay tuned.
