I came here to grab a couple bowls to go. The restaurant is on the smaller side but very clean and open. Pros: the staff are very friendly and patient, they answered all my questions that I had. There is plenty of parking but parking gets busy when the gym is packed. Food is fresh and the portions are decent. Cons: none
Love their Poke Bake & their Poke Nachos!! I often order via Door Dash and the food is always packaged well, and includes all necessary supplies. Very fresh and great flavor
I've been coming here since it opened and thought I did a review but I guess not. My go to any time I'm craving a poke bowl and I always pick the 5 protein bowl and it's massive, generous portions and I never finish it. I just like the different types of protein. You can pick your sauces and toppings to your likings. Don't forget to sign up for points! I did! Service is always friendly and professional and pretty quick. Clean inside and a few places to sit.
Decided to grab Poke for dinner and decided to stop at our go-to Poke Ichii. I ordered three of the 3 protein bowls. All of the items we selected looked fresh with the exception of the Sunomono which always looks a little discolored but still tastes great and is crunchy. I am including a pic of the bowl I created which included the following: base-greens and sushi rice (sushi rice was a little clumpy but tasted good), 2 scoops tofu and 1 chicken, green onions, spicy mayo and the house sauces, crab salad, seaweed salad, masago, sunomono, edamame, chopped seaweed and furikake. The other two bowls included ahi tuna and spicy tuna which they said tasted very good. Service was ok although when I asked for a little more tofu (the two scoops were very small) she said that was all she could give. Very clean and quiet. Worth a try and will be back!

She was incredibly welcoming, helped us create the most delicious bowls, and made the whole visit feel so easy and enjoyable. The portions were huge, the variety of protein/toppings were awesome, and for the amount of food you get, it's such a great value. Make sure you get the wonton chips as your base Chris's amazing energy alone makes us want to come back again!

What I can say was different and not sure if she did this correctly was they had some pre mixed protein such as spicy tuna, and spicy scallops, most places would put that directly in the bowl with the base but hear they threw it in with all the rest of the proteins to be flavored with other sauces. It caught be off guard as that would completely change the flavor. Not sure if that was an accident just how they do it there. Great selection of proteins with some seared meat options. They truly stuffed the bowl and I felt it was enough for two meals. Would definitely come here again if I'm in the area.
So I started working in the Greenhaven area for about 4 months now and discovered this little gem next to 24 hour Fitness gym. I have been coming here almost every day every time I have a scheduled shift and the food and the atmosphere is AMAZING. The service here is quick and efficient, they help you and give you recommendations for what you're looking for in a bowl. The menu is huge and it's not just fish, there are chicken and tofu options for protein, they have bakes, sushi and can make nachos. It fits the budget especially with everything going up in cost. It's good for the budget, good for the macros, and good environment overall. I would give 10 stars if I could.
I was passing through Sacramento and stopped here to satisfy a poke craving. I ordered a regular size bowl and the portions were generous. The fish, sauce and toppings were all fresh and tasty. The only negative was the sushi rice was a bit dry. Other than that, the service was prompt and friendly and the interior was clean and well-kept.

However, their regular size poke bowl seems smaller than other poke bowls around town. Our regular size poke bowl comes with 3 scoops of protein (they use a scooper that looks like a melon baller-the amount of fish in our bowl was not much). We chose salmon and two scoops of ahi tuna and wanted to try a basic mix with just teriyaki sauce. The other ingredients (seaweed, edamame, cucumber, jalapeños, corn, furikake, fish eggs, etc ) are decent and the taste was pleasant. The staff that served us was very friendly and helped us through their process. The cost per bowl was a little higher than other places but the location was nearby for a quick lunch.
Excellent poke bowl! The sauces are delicious and the freshness of the fish and vegetables was great! The service was expectational! The 2 ladies working were so kind and helpful! Loved that we could get half won chips and half salad. Thank you, Poke Ichii!

Customer service was wonderful. They were generous with their portions and the staff offered great suggestions. My daughter and I opted to share a large. It was definitely more than enough for us. The ahi and salmon was fresh and yummy. The veggies were refreshing and the combo sauces were wonderful. There is ample seating inside. Nice little hole in the wall find! read more

I want to say I've been coming here for the last 5+ years. The inside is literally the cleanest restaurant I have ever seen. The employees are super kind, patient, and knowledgeable. Ordered via Doordash! Wanted to get some local poke and this one was rated on the higher end so I decided to give it a try. It was decent.. like average. I got the regular bowl (3 scoops) with ahi tuna, salmon, and spicy salmon. I felt like it was on the more expensive end than other places I've been to. The fish was fresh, but cut really thick, which I didn't like too much. House sauce was yummy! I don't have any other complaints. I just do wish the price was slightly lower. read more

So glad we tried this poke place out! Their serving are very generous especially the fish. I've been to other poke places in Elk Grove and they give you tiny portions of fish. The staff there is super nice we had this one girl help us and she was the sweetest and very enthusiastic. There were plenty of places to sit as it wasn't that busy on a Sunday during lunch time. This place is located in a small plaza next to many other restaurants and places like 24 hr gym. Busy little area but still quiet and calm. Parking lot is big enough but depending on the hour you go it might be packed like during dinner hours since the gym is right there. Upon arriving it was empty inside but I did notice they had a-lot of food delivery orders. I got there around 5:30 on a Saturday night. I like how they have signature bowls pre-costume to pick from as well as their build your own bowl options. What really caught my eye was their poke bake. Which I didn't try this time but I plan to return and try it out. I saw them making a few togo orders while I waited and it was intriguing. I assume it's like sushi bake. I was greeted upon arrival but I waited about 5-7 mins before my order was taken. There were 3 workers as I saw. But they were all making orders. I didn't mind the wait. My bowl turned out pretty good but I feel like they skimped out on the sauces. You get up to 3 flavors but even with that it wasn't fully coated with sauce. Just enough but I like mine pretty sauced up. They have a lot of protein options like multiple fish options, cooked and or raw. Seasoned and or plain cuts. They have most of the same toppings as you'd find at other poke spots. Rice options were white and brown and they let you do half/half for your base. I opt for brown rice and lettuce mix. I would say though, my brown rice had an old rice smell and taste to it. After mixing everything it went away enough that it wasn't a bother. Had I not mix it evenly, I was able to smell and taste what tasted like day old rice or old rice that's been sitting in the cooker. Other than the rice and sauce issues, I enjoyed my bowl because their fish was cut nicely and tasted fresh which is really the star or the bowl. I'm particular when I eat raw fishes so theirs was fresh, clean, and cut nicely. I'd return as I plan to try their baked options. read more

Poke is usually very fresh and delicious here. I definitely recommend building your own poke. There's no limit to the amount of toppings you can get but there is an extra charge for avocado. read more
Upon entering, was greeted with a friendly "welcome in!" First impressions matter. Similar to a Chipotle-type concept, I went to choose my base item (choice of brown/white rice, wheat soba noodles or spring mix lettuce), then protein items (I chose the regular bowl with 3 scoops), then choice of 9 sauces (spicy garlic shoyu & creamy white sauce for me), mild stuff for the wife). Topped our bowls off with fresh veggies/diced fruit/etc. and we had ourself a great meal. Fish were fresh with no aftertaste, and toppings were fresh and tasty. As far as the facility goes, clean tables and floors, organized and a/c blowing cool air. This is my go-to poke place. 15 reward stamps later, I finally earned a free regular sized poke bowl! I've gone to several subpar poke places in the area and nothing beats Poke Ichii. You can actually order sushi rice here (usually it's just plain rice), which is the next best thing to poke! There's also a wide assortment of proteins, toppings, and sauces to choose from. My favorite add-ins are the sunomono (pickled cucumber) and creamy white sauce, which go great with the spicy scallop. Definitely recommend this place to anyone having a strong poke craving. read more

For a while I was skeptic about Poke Ichii, but I've recently been into Poke Bakes and theirs tastes good! I've also tried their Unagi Bowl and create your own Poke, which were good. Nothing crazy unique or amazing, but hits the spot. It's conveniently located in a nearby strip mall. I always order through Yelp and my order is ready when I arrive. read more
In the mood foe poke and we have been here before. There was only one other table when we got there but they were leaving. We were able to order right away though I didn't know what to get. My wife knew she was getting the poke nachos but they don't come with much poke. My wife looked over the menu and said that the Kizami bowl. It has salmon, ahi tuna, yellowtail hamachi and shrimp and crab mix on top. It will give me the poke fix that I want. Plus my wife had some more fish to eat with her nachos or in fact wonton chips which I totally love better than nachos. Our combo worked out perfectly and we were both happy. We tend to see the poke as just a snack and not a full meal since we are never really full from it even though it cost 34 bucks. Wish we were in Hawaii. read more

My husband was in the mood for some poke and he found this place. The place was nice and small. I think mainly food is for to go. The place had a large poke bar. You can see all the different pokes, sides, and veggies they have. We order ahead of time on line. When we got there there was a family in front of us. But I didn't see any to go orders ready. We told them that we ordered on line. The order was not ready, they did not make it. I was expecting to pick up and go. I wasn't sure if they didn't make it cause they were busy or they just wanted to make it fresh for us. But everything was pre made in the bar. We waited for them to make the order. We ordered poke nachos and a poke bowl #4. The poke was good and tasted fresh. The ratio of the nachos was very off. It was a tray full of chips and not enough poke. Very little poke. It was more like a good snack. I had to eat something else for dinner. The bowl was good and fresh too. My husband like it. Of course, I tried it too. read more

Service was much better last time , we had a 10% off coupon for our order and they charged our two items separately so I only got the 10% off on one item , the portion was not the same as last time & honestly I am dissatisfied & disappointed because parking here already sucks. The best / consistent location is DOCO. Care:5/5 kind and greeted upon arrival . Quality :3/5- inconsistent portion compared to my prior visit .
