Looked good and was stoked it was nearby but the raw tuna made me sick!!! I'm an avid poke bowl eater. But unfortunately got Food poisoning ...it tasted fishy and texture was chewy and dark! I had poured soy sauce before inspecting the fish so convinced myself it was just soy sauce making it look darker than usual...nope I never thought I would get sick off eating my favorite dish ,poke bowls. I had to stop eating it because it tasted so bad. Never going back after that and will inspect my fish from now on everywhere else I eat. read more

The poke bowls where good, tasty fresh tasting fish the same topping selections as other places. The pricing is comparable to other poke restaurants as well. I also like that they offer the macaroon ice cream sandwiches. Those are a delectable treat that I recommend trying and I don't see many places that have them so they get a star for that! I take away one star b/c they don't offer a kids bowl and they don't have fountain drinks! The lack of beverages is a big one for me. You basically have small bottled water or Coke or Diet Coke in a small bottle to choose from and if your small water isn't enough you have to pay for another. Went here the other day to get some poke bowls, I chose this place because my go to poke place was closed.. I ordered a spicy tuna poke bowl and an avocado smoothie I was really excited to try this place based off of the reviews..I really don't understand why this place has such good reviews?! Lol My spicy tuna was like mush and they don't offer much toppings. The avocado smoothie didn't even taste like avocado and tasted really old. Would not recommend this place to anyone read more

So far so Awesome! Great little clean restaurant with some amazing food. It's like everything you get in sushi, but in a bowl and made precisely how you want it. The fish tastes amazing and fresh. The sauce selection is great and they'll let you sample before you choose. I had the house sauce and the poke. Both sauces were awesome. The toppings that you would pay extra for anywhere else are outstanding. The staff is very nice and excited to help you figure things out if it's your first time. I always say I'm going to leave a stellar review but I never get around to it, but I figured I'd like to get the word out for anyone looking to support a small business during this time that this place is AMAZING. The staff is friendly, the food is fresh every single time, and the indoor dining area itself is very modern. (Always kept clean, too.) I personally recommend the pomegranate boba as a drink, but I'm sure all of the others are great too! Ironically, this poke spot has the BEST chicken bowls you will find in the area. I finally decided to try this place out for lunch and was extremely pleased by both my food and the atmosphere of the establishment. I ordered the large (3 scoops protein), and the amount of food you get for the price is worth it. I came in starving and left full. I mixed my proteins with the spicy mayo and the house poke, and for the toppings I got everything except the seaweed salad. it's awesome that they don't charge extra for either the imitation crab meat or the avocado (they only charge extra if you actually want more). Most food establishments make you pay extra for avocado right off the bat, so I loved that. (e.g. Subway, Waba Grill, etc.) The proteins seemed fresh. I got the ahi tuna, salmon, and scallops. My only qualm is that when I was there they ran out of Yellowtail (my original choice of protein) AND spicy tuna, so I got stuck with the scallops. I will note that the server did seem sincerely apologetic for running out, and she gave me the few pieces of Yellowtail that was left in the tray out of courtesy. This made me happy. I started going here about two years ago. It was a hangout spot for my friends and I. This place used to be one of my favorites... until the prices got raised. I remember poke bowls used to be around $8-$15 depending on the size and if you wanted extra protein. Now its been around a year since I've last purchased from here and I started to notice little changes that made me lose interest in this restaurant. 1) they started charging for avocado 2) they charge for extra toppings. Now, their poke tastes great. But those prices are just out of hand. Especially for the amount of fish you get for each scoop. You probably get like four to six pieces of fish! My wife and I have been coming to Poke and Salad since they opened and I must say this place has gone down hill. First the selection is bare minimum with no improvements in the entire time they have been open. Secondly, I received an offer on facebook from Poke and Salad for a BOGO bowl. As we were paying i informed the girl at the register that I had received the deal and showed her. She refused to honor my reward even though i was sent it by the company so I had asked if she could get the manager. At first she refused but then without my permission took my phone into the back room to "ask the owners son". I asked her to bring my phone back and she slammed it on the counter next to open food. He scrolled through my phone and saw the reward bit shook his head and said no and walked away. Clearly there is mismanagement and its starts at the ground level. As Faithful customers, this business should have honored my coupon but yet they refused. I asked for the manager but the girl said I am not allowed to speak with him. I asked to leave my number but she wouldn't write it down. She stated that she would text the manager but i am sure she never even did that. We drove all the way from moreno valley to get what would have been a decent deal but got treated extremely unprofessional and received less than mediocre Poke. Poke and salad is a joke. I've always loved coming to poke n salad. However, today I decided to get the milk tea because it was BOGO. I heard what I thought was another TM or manager as someone at the front how the milk tea was made. It took a while. And the overall product was disgusting. The amount of rice they put in the container was not even half the amount of rice they would have put in a bowl!! My mom normally gets salad with a little side of rice. The young girl took 1 weak handful of salad, rips the lettuce in half and puts it in the container. Barley any salad!! At all!! My mom asked for more salad and they said no because that's the amount that comes in a regular. Okay understandable. But please explain to me why when my mom said she would pay extra for more salad they only added 1 more leaf! Not even a slight handful, 1 leaf! It honestly felt like a slap across the face! We proceeded with our order and when we get home we noticed that on my bowl they didn't even serve me the proper protein I had ordered! There was also more crab meat then there was rice! Based upon Yelp reviews, we decided to stop by this spot and order take out. While I was waiting in the car with my infant my Husband went inside. He ordered the Lobster Roll, a Large Poke Bowl, and a side of poke. When we came home we ate the Lobster Roll first, to our surprise it was very disappointing! It primarily had imitation crab and no lobster taste nor sight of it. Don't bother getting your hopes up for should be known, Imitation Crab Roll. Next, we split the Large Ahi Poke Bowl with spicy ponzu sauce and again to our surprise this left us upset. The Ahi was previously frozen, mushy and looked like watermelon cubes! The sauce was so little the poke was very dry. To top this all off, we bought a side of poke for dad which was his Birthday and we had all gotten sick including my fussy infant shortly after. We spent my dad's birthday home sick! Later that day I called the Restaurant and spoke with Rachel who was of no help. She wasn't polite on the phone and couldn't assist. She told me to call back that night at 9pm to talk with the Owner Dwayne. Because it was a long day of misery I hadn't had the time to call until today (2 days later). I called and this time Valencia answers and ask if she could be of assistance, so I told her the story feeling horrible having to relive the moment for a few minutes. Then she says hold on I'll pass the phone to my Manager which she hadn't introduced to me prior to handing the phone. Having to ask who I was talking to, Nicolas then asks me what's going on. Again, for the third time I had to repeat the situation! At this point, he says he'll call Dwayne and let him know along with a full refund. So I said I'll be back in store before we fly out and he hung up. Two minutes later, Nicolas calls back and says he spoke with Dwayne and if we bring a receipt then they can do the refund. I always hold onto receipts but this time no receipt was given to my husband. Nicolas responds with, "there's nothing they can do". First off, the Owner Dwayne had no care to call me personally. Secondly, after explaining the situation with 3 different employees they should be trained better with customer service. Lastly, never honor anything said in the beginning then to take it back at the last minute. Thankfully, we paid by credit card. We do have proof of purchase! Any Business Owners within the food industry, all I ask is to provide high quality food (do not false advertise and bait switch menu items that are not real) and friendly customer service. If you can't provide both, then why be in business just to give any less than 100%. read more

You go down the line picking and building your entree- start out with either rice (white or brown) or salad, then you move on to the great variety of sides- seaweed salad, cucumbers, onions, masago, crab meat (imitation), edamame, etc. Then you pick your meats- raw fresh seafood, tuna, salmon, scallop, octopus salad, shrimp etc., then finally sauces.
