Aloha plate (to go) $15.41 after tax
    Henry F.

High prices, small over-salted portions. Not a fan. Prices are not clear. Yelp menu pricing is very out of date. Expect to pay 50-75% more. I got the aloha plate (kahlua pork with spicy mayo tuna and rice) and after tax (before tip) it was $15.41. The tuna scoop was very small for that price. I was still hungry afterwards. Service was nice. But literally no one was there at peak lunch hours. Not much ambience for dining in. It's a take out place.

Fresh poke for a decent price! I got a salmon poke bowl with two flavors and seaweed salad ($1 extra!). The salmon itself was really good and fresh. I got the spicy mayo which was creamy and had onion, and I can't remember the other flavor but it was also really good and probably my favorite of the two! My only complaint was I needed more rice for all the salmon lol. At first I thought it wasn't enough salmon but I was quickly proven wrong! The service was also really good and our bowls came out fast. The cashier, which I'm assuming is also the owner or the wife of the owner, was really nice! The overall vibe was very homey and cozy, like a mom and pop shop. Would definitely recommend checking this small business out!

#1 Oyster Sauce, Spicy Garlic + Spicy Mayo. Must add seaweed salad!!

You don't need to try any other poke spot in long beach because this is hands down the BEST poke spot. By a long shot especially if you're looking for authentic poke. It's a lowkey mom and pop shop but nothing about the food is lowkey. Me and my boyfriend have been here twice now and each time we're in awe!! Also to note, She's the sweetest most welcoming lady. Number one flavor goes to Oyster Sauce and always have to get spicy; both spicy mayo and spicy garlic are incredible. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!! Need to try everything else on the menu.

Terrible, sorry NOT worth $17 for over priced and nasty poke.

Tiktok failed me on this one! The food is salty and bland nothing special here. over priced for small portions. Not worth it. They give you more burnt rice then the actual poke.

Workers were so nice and the food was very delicious! I got the tonkatsu and my boyfriend got the kalua pork! Very good!!

    Cute decor.

AMBIANCE: Located in Long Beach in a small standard plaza. From the outside, doesn't seem like much but when I hear authentic Hawaiian Poke, I'm there. There's lots of parking out front but it does have limited seating inside. It's not completely decked out in a Hawaiian theme but I'm fine with that. They stick to what they know. FOOD: I ended up ordering their #2 combo, which comes with ahi tuna and salmon poke, rice, and seaweed salad (for $1 extra). You have the choice of multiple sauce options for both the tuna and salmon. I went with their Fresh Ginger for the salmon and Spicy Garlic for the tuna. The plate was flavorful, everything complimented each other nicely and the sauces were just perfect. Truly reminded me of my short time visiting Hawaii. I would love to go back to try the other sauces! SERVICE: I can't say enough about the kind service from both the gentleman but especially the woman who helped us. She was radiating helpfulness, sweet older individual, just happy to help her customers. I felt loved when entering and leaving. NOTE(S): Limited seating + plenty of parking

I was craving poke and found out about this place through Yelp. Came here during my lunch break and it's located in a strip mall with plenty of parking. Nice ambiance inside, felt like a hole in the wall place. They had a good variety of poke flavors to choose from. I decided to get two flavors which came with rice. I choosed spicy mayo and Hawaiian limu (similar to shoyu). For $15, they gave me a good portion of rice and poke. The poke tasted fresh and the dressings all tasted good. Overall, a good solid poke place, would come back again!

Spicy garlic & spicy mayo w/rice..simple kine plate. I asked the lady to add more rice, and she did. Ahi has good flavor & tastes good

I was going to say the food is not good for the price but the food is not good even if it was free and I sign up to be mean or harsh but they were extremely rude and I know when fish smells like a food 4 less deli You should need it

Spicy mayo salmon & spicy garlic ahi with brown rice & salad
    Jessica M.

Poke on the west side of the LBC huh? Just wow! I've always drove by & never thought to stop by, today I wanted Poke so I tried a new joint. Got the spicy mayo salmon & spicy garlic ahi with brown rice & salad. Variety of marinated fish, which is new for me! I usually add my sauce to the bowl. Everything was so fresh! I'm used to picking my own toppings & building my bowl but I'm kinda glad I chose my fish & then they handed me my plate. All the fixings you are used to do not automatically come with your plate, so if you want ginger you must ask for it, you want dressing for your salad? Also ask for it. Attentive service as soon as you enter the door, helpful & happy service provided! They have Loco Moco & spam musubi!? I'm definitely coming back for more Poke, I can't wait to try the Katsu, & everything else. Minimal seating inside & small parking lot but definitely 11/10!

Poke Pola is my absolute favorite poke place in Long Beach…read more My go-to proteins are always salmon, yellowtail and spicy tuna! Their topping bar is extensive and your first scoop of avocado is free/included! The quality of fish is fresh and so buttery. In terms of ambiance they have both indoor and outdoor seating. My mom and I personally enjoy their outdoor seating especially in warmer weather because it's fun to see all the life happening on Belmont Shore. I recently messed up my order through UberEats. Although I could not resolve the issue on the UberEats app itself, I called the restaurant, explained the situation and the management at Poke Pola went ABOVE and BEYOND in helping me resolve MY mistake on their end. When you care about your customers, people return and that's just a fact. On top of how amazing their food is, I love that this is a family-owned establishment with owners who seem to care about both their employees and customers. Poke Pola is my favorite and I will never stop recommending it to others!

Well, today I was craving Poke Pola and ordered it for delivery. Food was delivered just fine but the food was awful today, specifically the rice, which is the base for all the toppings. It's super sticky/tacky and it's a weird texture in the mouth, which is not making it enjoyable to eat at all.

I usually end up here because I love poke and that it is one of the lighter/healthier options in the food court. The portions are good, but the toppings are more on the limited side compared to other nearby poke places. The fish is not the freshest, not sure where they are sources them. My chief complaint are the sauces and their lack of flavor. At my last visit, I asked for the spicy yuzu ponzu. I saw them add it to the bowl, but when I sat down to enjoy, I could not taste anything. It was super bland and on top of that there was absolutely no spice for a spicey sauce. My most recent visit was about two weeks ago and the experience was consistent with what keeps me coming back. This is one of my go-to spots within The Hanger in Long Beach. It's a straightforward, build-your-own poke spot. I stand in line, look through the display case, choose my proteins, pick my toppings, and pay at the end. I've never had any issues with ordering or wait time. The staff has always been pretty friendly and relatively helpful. Once you get your bowl, you can usually find seating but it can be a little hectic at times. On my latest visit, I ordered a medium poke bowl with tuna, tofu, and crab meat. The fish was fresh, flavorful, well-portioned, and the overall bowl was great. Portions are solid and prices seem fair to me for the quality and location. My one gripe, and the reason this isn't a full five star review, is the menu clarity around the crab meat. It's a bit misleading. It looks like crab is included with the small bowl but it actually counts as one of the three proteins for the medium bowl. I personally wish the crab meat were treated as a topping rather than a protein.
