I ordered a large poke through ubereats and it was definitely more than enough for my toddler and me. The raw fish tasted fresh and I love their customer service. It was 10 minutes before closing when I placed my order and they called me to ask about substituting a fish because they had run out. The order they called about wasn't mine (they had confused the numbers) BUT I love knowing that they call you when they run out of something rather than just not giving it to you so you have to request a price revision or be disappointed. My order was exactly what I ordered. Especially at closing time when a lot of employees are rushing to leave. My daughter especially loves the imitation crab so I paid for double order of it. read more

My favorite poke place in Redondo. Reliably fresh and portion size for both the medium and large were generous (at least a few months ago). The flavors are as you'd expect of a poke place and well worth it. Note: I did notice a change in the online ordering experience where some of the items were no longer "unlimited" and haven't gone back yet to see how this affects the portions. Gotta love a poke bowl place that doesn't charge for all the extras and let's you add MANY items. I know that the crab salad is imitation- all the more reason I hate to pay extra for it (even though I feel it adds to the bowl). The medium (with three proteins) was large and delicious. The spicy tuna is ground like you find in a spicy tuna roll. All the fish and veggies were fresh. On top of that, the service was friendly and prompt! Finally a poke spot that is within walking distance from my house. Loving all the great restaurants popping up in the Redondo village. Was excited to try this spot and it was fantastic. Got the small salmon poke on white rice. Fish was fresh and sides were too. You get unlimited sides which makes the small size container a bit overflowing... so maybe I'll do medium next time. So i've eaten here a total of 3 times this month. The second time wasn't great. I ordered a medium and the woman didn't mix the Masago with the poke. I guess that was my only gripe. The third time I had a $12 gubhub credit ($15 minimum) for setting up a new account so I ordered a large with two out of my 4 proteins being Yellowtail. I got a call a few minutes after placing my order that they ran out of Yellowtail :( I substituted with albacore. I cut up a large Avocado at home and it went well with it. I added grubhub instructions to mix the toppings like Masago into the Poke but they just put it on top. So it was $16 for the large via Grubhub, free delivery, tax, mandatory tip, and minus the $12 grubhub credit so it came out to $9. We shared the large amongst 4 people to enhance our dinner. My poke background: I lived in Honolulu for 30+ years and my go-to Poke standards are Tanioka's and Foodland. If it's not as good as Tanioka's or Foodland it's just Okay. Poke Rainbow is pretty close to my Poke standards I just have to let go of the cringe when I see such a tiny scooper when they get the fish because this isn't Hawaii :P read more

I frequently travel to Hawaii for surf trips, and the fish from poke rainbow in Redondo is fresher and their poke bowl experience is like no other. Their key to success, I believe, is in the freshness of their sushi grade fish. The fish does not get marinated until just before ordering, in order to ensure optimal freshness. Disappointing. Took almost ten minutes for one poke bowl. There was nobody in front of us and we could see three workers. In addition to both the rice and edamame being undercooked, the poke bowl was made incorrectly. We chose their popular sauce combo #7(spicy mayo, sweet chili and yuzu ponzu). There was barely any sauce. It was completely missing spicy mayo. We were missing sweet onions, seaweed and wasabi, but somehow almost half the bowl was kimchi which we did not want in there. The medium bowl includes three proteins but there was less than five pieces of each fish. I don't know why they don't let you go into the restaurant so you can watch them make your bowl so they don't allow any mistakes. Maybe if we were able to stand there, service would be faster and the workers wouldn't spend so much time talking between themselves. You select a base (rices, salads, soba noodles, etc), pick a protein, pick the toppings/veggies/fruits you want mixed in, and picks some sauces. I have only been here once but I loved my creation. Im a fan of the salty/sweet mix, so I get really happy when I have the option of adding in pineapple and corn to my pokes! I love this place, but today we ordered 3 small poke bowls and asked (and paid) for extra pineapple and eel sauce), but when we got home abs we were ready to eat noticed that there was barely any pineapple on any of the bowls and only 2 small tubs of eel sauce) and just a few drops of eel sauce on the bowls. Horrible poke place. First of all we waited over 20 minutes for two poke bowls. The medium bowl had more food than the large bowl. The large bowl was missing so many things. It didn't have the chili oil, the sriracha, the garlic and onion on top. Why did this take over 20 minutes and it came out wrong? I asked why it took so long when I got the food and they said someone called out. Okay that's fair. But why the hell are we waiting for over 20 minutes for raw bowls. Nothing had to be cooked. This is my first time here so I'm guessing their system of ordering is different now during COVID than before but for now they have papers outside for you to fill out to order then you take it inside to give to them and pay. I was walking around Riviera Village looking for a place to eat. I wanted Poke and someone directed me to Poké Rainbow. I took one look at the sign above the business and I could not bring myself to go in. It may seem petty to anyone who does not understand Hawaiian culture or the Hawaiian language, but their misspelling of the word Poke by putting an accent at the end of the word is insulting and a misuse of the Hawaiian language. Plain and simple-the word is not spelled that way. The Hawaiian language is not French or Spanish and does not use accents to emphasize syllables. Moreover, the Hawaiian language does use the symbol ' but it is not an emphasis for an accent as used in some European languages but rather it is called an 'okina to indicate a glottal stop within a word. Bottom line is if you are going to serve a Hawaiian Influenced menu from a business with a Hawaiian name, at least spell the Hawaiian word correctly. And lastly the use of that spelling to give the word a European accent to help knowledgeable customers know they should pronounce them terminal e (as opposed to the silent "e" in the english word poke which you do with your finger) is unnecessary. In 2022 anyone who is looking for a Hawaiian dish of cubes of raw fish knows exactly how to pronounce the word. So I am going to find my poke elsewhere where they do not find it necessary to culturally appropriate the Hawaiian language by merging it with European use of accents. I can't help but wonder, how bad is their food if they can't even spell the name of their restaurant correctly? I was hoping to get some Poke, but instead the only poke was them poking the Hawaiian language with their middle finger. read more

Also, they did not have a maximum number of toppings that you can choose from; I've been to other poke shops and they charge you for toppings if you exceed the limit.
