Stopped by on a Saturday for lunch and they were out of items (chips, organic kale, spicy tuna) and the mixed greens were wilted, so I had to toss a bunch of it. My wife tried to speak with the worker, but he was in the back and could not hear her calling for help. I do not recommend this location.

Looking for a good place to get poke? Poke Rainbow in Simi. Husband and I love our poke and found this place close by. Checked the reviews and they all appeared to be good. We got to the location an hour before closing time, door was locked, however, there was a sign on the door "be back in 5 min." so we decided to wait. We did contemplate leaving but decided to give it them a chance, glad we did, we were not disappointed. Only one person working behind the counter, Skyler. He was extremely nice and apologized for having to wait. We just said it was understandable because this seems to be the norm everywhere. Skyler was very pleasant and he took his time getting our order done correctly. He did a great job consider being the sole employee working that evening. We were glad we decided on this place, got our order to go and it was very delicious. They give you quite a bit of food. One suggestion, get the medium if your really hungry it was a perfect anount, the small is very small.

Came with my Wife to see the fish here and they try to cut losses by reusing the fish. Last time i checked, salmon was orange!! Anyways, had to douse the bowl in eel sauce because it tasted like the ocean!! Not good, but it's better than Pokitomike... TLDR: If you want seafood poisoning, come here if ur desperate i guess...

Amazing!! We decided to try pokey rainbow because I love Japanese cuisine, the whole idea of deconstructed sushi is exciting to me. We walked in and we were greeted as we were looking at the menu and all the delicious options I wasn't sure what to get and decided to get the four Protein option. The brown rice option was absolutely delicious nice and sticky like sushi style, The tuna was great the crab salad was delicious and the spicy tuna was scrumptious, I also recommend the seaweed salad, it was a delight. I usually get poke in the valley so was excited when this place opened close to my house. I ordered a small bowl with all the toppings, added avocado. The bowl was $17.15 so about $5 more than what I typically pay in the valley. It was average compared to other bowls I've had in the past. The avocado was brown as was some of the lettuce and there was hardly any eel sauce or spicy mayo.

Yippee!! A great poke place on this end of town!! I've been twice since they opened. The fish quality is great and the portions are substantial. A medium is a big meal. Also, their sauces are soooo good!

I love poke, but this place is just dangerous. Sometimes I'm willing to risk a dryer looking fish, but I just had to spit this out. It had gone bad easily a day ago. Waste of $15 for the small. Also, place needs a deep cleaning, I should've walked out after the smell. But again, I'm usually the one to give a chance.

Fish tastes fresh! Apparently they get fresh fish in every couple of days. Lots of veggie options too. I usually shy away from poké even though I love sushi and sashimi just cause I know it's not always as fresh as sushi. But this places rocks! Try it - they have mutliple locations, so you know it must be good even without my review.

My friend and I recently visited because we were in the area. We were both craving poke and stumbled upon this location's reviews and thought we should check it out. Upon entering, we noticed the ambiance was a little dull but had good music and cute little claw machines on the side. The person tending to us had good vibes and was nice. We felt that the prices for the sizes were a little unjust considering the portions and overall quality of food. The rice tasted stale and was not fresh which was surprising considering the amount of reviews saying how fresh the food was. Though I can't defer how fresh the fish was, based on the rice alone it makes me question how fresh everything else was. Now for my feedback, I would say maybe get rid of the small container size altogether and stick to the medium and large and charge it according to portion rather than container size itself. I am sad to say I will not be returning to this location but can see room for improvement. read more

We went back there today after going a few months ago and getting sick to give it another shot. Same thing happened. Fish didn't look fresh, tasted fine but within hours of eating we both were sick, AGAIN. Wouldn't recommend, definitely better places with better quality fish. read more

So I was SO HAPPY to see that this location was open again! I usually get the medium bowl with soba noodles (but with supply issues these days I completely understand!). Every time I get my food from here, it's like I'm getting a DELIGHTFUL treat! The fish is SO DELICIOUS, and they don't charge extra for the seaweed salad and crab salad (like MOST poke places do). Plus, I have to give 10 STARS to the polite young man who prepped my food. He was the only person working on a Saturday when I know most people his age would rather be hanging out with their friends! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this restaurant! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!! read more

After living in Hawaii for a decade and then moving to Simi Valley, I've struggled to find good poke. A lot of places look to put a weird California twist on their poke or offer things that should never go with poke unless you've just visited a dispensary like flaming hot Cheetos... but poke rainbow was a pleasant surprise. Their fish was all very fresh, cubed correctly, and offered in classic, delicious ways. The portions were perfect, the amount of sauce was appropriate to not overwhelm the poke itself, and add on options were all awesome. I'm super happy this place opened nearby my home read more

You can taste how old the fish is. Salmon didn't even taste like salmon. Tuna was off color and almost brown. And don't get me started on the scallops. Crab salad tastes and looked like it was out for a few days and looked yellow and discolored. At $16 a bowl for expired food that will surely send me to the ER, I'll take my chances somewhere else. Young Workers look like they don't get paid enough,rude and are always out of menu items. Like eel and octopus even though they sell it to you online and charge you extra. Place looks run down, don't use the restroom because their toilet paper dispenser is broken and has been that way for a while and not to mention how filthy it is. As I sit on the porcelain throne, regretting on ordering a poke bowl from this establishment. read more

PokiStop in the Town Center used to be my go to for poke. But the quality, portion sizes and options have been going down a bit there (no seaweed salad the other day, paying for edamame always irritates me, etc.). I DoorDashed Poke Rainbow the other day and was glad I did. The yellowtail was super fresh. The portions were very generous and the sauces had great flavor with just enough heat. Plus, edamame and krab are free. Will definitely be back. read more

Went to this Poke place three times now. First two were great. Went back today and fish didn't seem fresh. Salad was wilted. Ate about half of my bowl and stomach felt yucky. An hour later feeling sick. Don't think their fish is very fresh today and it was warm. Not sure why . It normally is. Not sure if I'll go back. read more

i will start out by saying that the only reason this place gets 2 stars is bc of how nice the guy was who helped me. besides that ... so bad. the fish smelled so fishy and was so gross and chewy, the cucumbers were inedible, the sauce was mediocre, and the rice was cold. i was so excited for a new poké place in simi but unfortunately i will not be returning. read more

i order from here probably 2-3 times a month and recently spent $100+ and every time i ask for extra sauces because every bowl gets split among people. I came to Hikari Sushi with my sister and a friend, and when my sister's roll was brought to the table, there was a fly sitting directly on the sushi. We immediately pointed it out to the waitress. Instead of apologizing, she casually told us that there are "always flies in the restaurant," as if that somehow made the situation acceptable. She did replace the roll, but brought out an entirely different roll than the one my sister originally ordered. When my sister politely explained that it wasn't the correct item, the waitress argued with her and insisted that she "should have been more specific" because there are multiple versions of a Dragon Roll. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake and correcting it, she continued debating with the customer before eventually bringing the correct order. As frustrating as the experience itself was, what happened afterward was even more disappointing. My sister left a review describing exactly what occurred, and instead of taking responsibility or apologizing, the owner publicly claimed that the fly landed on the roll before it reached our table and that the waitress had already replaced it before it was served. That is simply not what happened. The roll with the fly was served directly to our table. How would we see the fly if the roll was never served to us?? Makes absolutely no sense. We all saw it. Otherwise, there would've been nothing for us to point out. Everyone makes mistakes. A fly can get into a restaurant despite a business's best efforts. What determines good customer service is how those mistakes are handled. In this case, there was no genuine apology, unnecessary arguing with a customer over an incorrect replacement order, and then a public response that completely contradicted what we personally experienced instead of accepting responsibility. The lack of accountability was far more disappointing than the original mistake. I hope the restaurant takes customer concerns more seriously in the future and understands that honesty and accountability go a long way toward rebuilding trust.

I'm bummed I didn't get a cocktail but my party doesn't drink so it was more fun to get an agua Fresca with them. The guava one was good and served nicely chilled. However, next time I'll definitely get a cocktail because their drinks looked fun and beautiful. The food was definitely the standout for me. I ordered the cheese enchiladas Suizas and they were a 10/10. Not comparable to most enchiladas I've had but the sauce was fantastic and unique. I really loved these enchiladas and I'd honestly get them again. Solid flavor in the rice and beans as well. My friends also enjoyed their meal and it seemed like everyone was happy. The pricing is a little steep for Mexican food but also the ambiance and presentation make sense to me why it'd be a little more. For the three of us the bill was over $100. And that's for three mains and three non-alcoholic drinks. Normally at $33-ish a person I'd hope for at least a beer with my enchiladas, so keep that in mind. As a special occasion place or a spot to celebrate this spot is truly fantastic. I honestly loved my meal so much that even with the price point I'd rush back and bring more friends because this spot is vibey. Nice staff and a cute spot to diner, 5 stars in my books given the quality, taste of the food and the overall experience.

I've only been here twice and it is now my goto poke place in Simi valley. Location is convenient, a lot of parking, workers here are nice every time I come in. Fish is fresh everyday. Love getting the half white rice/half spring mix with spicy tuna and spicy salmon and their "house sauce" is very tasty. read more
