Nice little poke bowl place in Washington heights. I never had poke before and was a little skeptical since it was not an official restaurant. Surprisingly, the bowl was pretty fresh and nothing tasted fishy or weird. They also give you a such a good amount and I had a hard time finishing my bowl without feeling disgustingly full. The service was relative quick, but the place was quite busy and quickly filled up at lunch time with kingfu tea. Overall, I would come back here again for the portion and price. read more

Disclaimer: Poke is my favorite food, and this restaurant is 2 blocks away from my house. I am SO enthusiastic about it. But also, the Poke is good, the fish is fresh, and you've got a good variety of toppings to choose from. They've got an assortment of proteins (but salmon is my one true love), mix ins (pick 4), and toppings (pick 2). They've got all the sauces you can want (spicy mayo is my fave.) And they've got THREE different kinds of rice, or salad to make the tasty bed upon which your fish will rest. (I would love it if you could do a half rice, half lettuce option.) For people who don't eat raw fish, there is cooked chicken, eel, crab, calamari, shrimp, and tofu. The restaurant itself is clean and modern, with several tables and a gender neutral bathroom. And! My daughter and I love this place. It was so yummy, and I love the choice of rice. I created my own bowl. Loved it!

Bland, boring, delivery. The multitude fees brought my food to over $48 for delivery. Never again.

The fish is fresh and the toppings are good. My only issue is I got a large bowl and unfortunately it was 2/3rds rice. I don't want to spend that much money on something that is mostly rice. read more

Their Poke Bowls are good and I would give a 3.8 star for that . However, they didn't forewarn about extra sugar and non sweet options in the bubble tea. Which is pretty inconsiderate. They have poor communication and lack empathy. Only care about money and tip and its despicable. I am a regular customer and tip them regularly. Despite that they didn't change the order to a less sugar version. Extremely disappointed. Treat your customers better. I am only coming back because the food quality is decent. But your customer service is utterly terrible and you need to work on it. If you feel entitled that customers should tip you, you netter be good at keeping customers happy. Was looking forward to my usual grilled chicken poke bowl, but instead got a scant handful of flavorless, rubbery boiled chicken (not grilled) and the tofu (my second protein - GOBS of it) was slimy and disintegrated on my fork. To top it all off, THE WRONG DRESSING. The only edible portions were the fresh greens and veggies. BUT NOT WORTH $17.00 (almost $25 with tip and service fee!) Brand new poke place in Washington Heights. Definitely a great addition. You can select from pre-set bowls or build your own. The ingredients to choose from are plentiful, fresh and tasty. I wish they were slightly more generous with protein portioning, but others a very delicious bowl. Looking forward to trying other combinations! read more

Just came for the first time. They forgot to put fish on my poke bowl. I walked the 15 min back to the restaurant to explain what happened. Instead of just adding fish or giving me a freshly made bowl they added the fish drowning in sauce to my old bowl. I said I don't need sauce just fish but they didn't listen The old bowl had plenty of sauce. I walked the 15 min back to my office to my half eaten bowl now with fish on top, drowning in mayo. Been looking for a good poke spot uptown and decided to check them out. Got a "safe" option and built my own bowl with shrimp. The shrimp definitely had that fishy aftertaste, so I didn't finish it because I just foresaw me getting sick if I did. Don't recommend. read more

Excited to try the first poke bowl restaurant around Washington Heights. On first glance the interior was very clean and organized. Staff was very friendly and explained how tor process works. Created my own bowl with 2 proteins (Ahi Tuna & Salmon) both which was pleasantly fresh. Will definitely be back often since i work nearby. read more

Go to bowls are the Volanco Bowl and Poké Bowl. Naturally they offer their customizable bowls too but their signatures are safe bets. The portion is perfect and wildly filling. Pretty good overall but also pretty pricey. There is cheaper on par poke downtown. It's one of the few healthy choices in the area so I'm still thankful for it and this has become my go to place for lunch if I need to buy something.
