They let you know when pick up time is, and eating out at home is a breeze. You get to select the size, sauce, base, protein and toppings. I usually order the kid size and that is plenty for me. I had high hopes for this poke spot since it's just a 2-minute drive from my home, but unfortunately, I left pretty underwhelmed, especially compared to other poke places I've tried. I believe this location is fairly new since I haven't noticed it before, but I can't really say the customer service stood out in a positive way. I've been here around three times, and after my first visit, I switched to online orders because the staff didn't seem very friendly or welcoming. I get that everyone has tough days, but the energy just felt off. I really didn't want to give it two stars because I genuinely love poke, but the rice was always cold and stiff, the tuna had an odd taste, and the salmon was a bit too fishy for my liking. The imitation crab also tasted off. The only upside is that the medium bowl comes with a decent portion size, and the space itself is clean and somewhat roomy. Overall, this place just isn't for me. There are other poke spots that offer fresher ingredients, better flavor, and more positive customer service. I love poke! I could eat it every day. I think it's the perfect lunch and gives you your fix if you're craving sushi. I've been here many times and it's your pretty standard run of the mill poke spot. They don't have anything extra or out of the ordinary, not even a huge selection of raw fish, but their toppings aren't too bad. I also like their spicy sauces. I was excited to try this place but as soon as we were greeted, the service seemed off and the girl helping us had the worst attitude. I asked a question and instead of her saying yes she pointed to the glass with the labels and rolled her eyes. While the food was good, I won't return or give my money to an establishment that has people like her working for them. I understand having a bad day but don't bring that crappy attitude to work with you. Came to this poke spot because my boyfriend loves poke and he used to come here all the time, it's been a while so we decided to go. We were welcomed by two workers who were very friendly. They were patient with me as I am not a big raw fish eater so I tried their salmon crab salad as my protein which was very good (salmon was cooked and shredded). My boyfriend got the half rice half salad with salmon and albacore, he demolished his bowl! He got his with cucumbers, avocado (extra charge), edamame, ponzu sauce with signature sauce, furikake, and green onions. It was kind of hard finding parking as it is a small lot, so that can be difficult. It's a small place so limited seating but we came in at a good time, it was pretty empty, but they had a water station and chopsticks on the table with napkins. Been coming here for years but had not been here for some time since I work closer to the Poke Tiki in Costa Mesa. So disappointed in today's visit, was there 30 mins before closing & the girl that was doing my order rushed the whole process when there was just one lady & her kids who walked in while she was making my bowl. Not only that, she rushed it so much she skimped on the portions! When I questioned why I place the same order at the Costa Mesa location & it's much more she replied: idk what they are doing over there! Ok, I get that but that definitely wasn't what to respond to a customer. I wasn't even rude, just more in a shocked of what she was about to serve me & charge me for. Shouldn't all staff in all locations be trained the same? I went through photos on here thinking maybe the portions have changed but no, I got the regular one & mine looks like the kids size. I wish I had better photos. This had been one of my favorite poke spots since 2018 when I started working around there area. I hate to think this is the type of customer service we get now a days. Decent poke place with some good options. I got a regular poke bowl which came with 3 scoops of protein with the urban salad base. The salmon was pretty good, but the scallop was pretty hard and chewy. It is a cooked protein, so they do notify you of that, but I wasn't a fan of it. I did see that they have an albacore crab salad and salmon crab salad that looked unique to me, so I think I would have preferred to try that. They don't mix the sauces with the protein so it's not well incorporated or evenly distributed, but you can ask for more sauces on the side which is nice. read more

You can choose 3 proteins, I chose all salmon with ponzu, poke sauce, and spicy mayo. You can also request for sauces on the side as well. As for the sides, I got cucumbers, crab meat, seaweed salad, edamame, green onion, masago, and dried seaweed. The service was quick and they packed my bowl to the top! Have been coming to Poki Tiki for about 2 years now since it is close to my work. We would normally order delivery but then after I realized it really wasn't too far, I began picking up. The shopping center can get pretty busy so make sure you have enough time to get in and out. It's on Chapman and La Veta so it gets jam packed there during most hours. I also always order online since they have their own website. It's super easy and you don't have to name off all the toppings if ordering in person. I love their spicy salmon because they make it ground and it adds so much flavor. That's like my top protein there. The salmon is always fresh and has a nice vibrant color. The shrimp are actual large tiger shrimp cut up and served not tiny shrimp which is a huge plus. The price is pretty fair and since I always get the regular bowl (3 protein) it's always enough and generous. They really pack on the protein. Since I've been working from home, I sometimes drive down to this area to get my fix, it's so delicious. Please support this poke shop, it's so good! Can't wait to return! read more

Fish always tastes fresh, as well as the toppings. I like the variety - but will usually get salmon only, salmon and tuna, or salmon and salmon salad. The serving sizes are great for the prices you pay - $12.99 for REG, $14.99 for LRG. The noticeable differences are the scoops of fish you get - 3 scoops for REG bowls, 5 scoops for LRG.
