So, it's your typical BYOB Poke Spot. Really small spot here though with no public restroom. If you're planning on eating in, well, you can't, because there are no tables inside. I didn't like how there was only a regular size that included 3 scoops of protein, but I did like how each extra scoop was $1.50. I got myself a regular bowl with two extra scoops of protein. I got myself their white rice with everything for their add-ons. For my protein, I got their spicy tuna, two scoops of tuna, salmon, and albacore. I went for their "very spicy" concoction that included spicy mayo. For my toppings, I got their edamame, wasabi, ginger, scallion, masago, cream cheese, and furikake. Fish seemed fresh, but they were sliced into SUPER TINY pieces. The portions seemed like much, but only because the regular bowl is very small. The "very spicy" sauce was more mild than your typical tabasco sauce, which was a bummer. I liked how crab meat and avocado was included though. Along with that, miso soup was offered, free for each bowl. *****PLEASE READ*****This looks like a good review, but why the two stars? First of all, while the man was helping me out with my bowl, he didn't wash his hands beforehand and he also used no gloves. Honestly first time trying this place & this was so horrible. I order through online pick up at 1:15 & came back to work. immediately when I opened the bowl it smelled like rotten fish! Gave it the benefit of doubt since there was shrimp in my order and i immediately threw it out! Looked further at the shrimp and it still has poop in them. Mind you the shrimps are small but can still be deveined! The crab meat was an even worse taste! I tried to call to get a refund since I couldn't go back because I had to get to work and their phones are shut off or offline! That was 2 1/2 hours ago I highly doubt I'd get ahold of anyone to get my refund. Waste of $15 I just went to the store to eat what I could with the remainder of my lunch. Other reviewers have described the quality of their pokebowl already so I would like to emphasize a few small things that felt special for me: 1) sauce option - spicy levels If you are a sauce person like me, their way of sauce option is revolutionary. 3 different "spicy" levels, and each level is a combination of sauces mixed with the fish right in front of you. This makes their poke taste unique, and even fresher. 2) cream cheese sesame ball topping Tiny bites of creme cheese covered in sesame. It doesn't change the overall flavor of the pokebowl, because the sesame prevents the creme cheese from melting into it. The result is... amazing. 3) miso soup It's the best miso soup I've ever had. REVIEW UPDATE: My original post: Slow and rude service. That is all I have to say about it. The workers need to understand how to speak to people especially customers that enter. Updated post: I have attached a screenshot of the message the owner sent me. This is the type of people that own the place. Could not even politely respond to the issue in public but had to send me an angry, disrespectful message. Very professional. I entered with my mask and was asked to wait outside due to capacity which I apologized for and stepped out. There were two workers and two other customers in the store with the door closed (very covid conscious having no airflow). I politely went outside and waited for one customer to leave. As she was leaving she said to me "okay you can come inside now" and so I stepped in and was immediately stopped and "kicked out" ... words from the owner not mine. I took my business next-door and as I was leaving next-door I see a family of four enter this facility. So please tell me if I am being singled out or not. Is this enough detail for you? Another Update: Max, I did not ask anyone to post on my behalf. I can do that and have done that myself with this review. My favorite place for lunch! They offer a regular and kids bowl. The regular bowl includes three scoops of your choice of fish. There are a lot of extra toppings such as cucumber, roe, edamame, this crispy cream cheese thing and more! I usually get white rice, two scoops of tuna and one scoop of salmon with all toppings with the medium spicy sauce which includes spicy mayo sauce! Each bowl comes with a complimentary miso soup. This place is amazing. The staff are friendly and prices are very good considering what you get. The quality is great and I've never gotten sick or not been happy with the food. The portions are a good size, I typically get a kids bowl with an extra scoop of protein and you get a free scoop of avocado and whatever other toppings you'd like, and the sauces are very yummy. They also give you a free miso soup and I believe an extra is only one dollar. The wait can be long in the afternoon because they only want one guest in at a time, but to me it's worth the wait! There's usually not a whole lot of seating considering there are other places that share the same space, so keep that in mind. read more

We've been on a poke search in our area and had a few hit-and-misses, but we finally came across our new go-to poke spot! Staff & Location: The staff was very friendly and sweet. Even though they had masks on (which we appreciated b/c COVID), we could still tell they were smiling. It was our first time there, and they happily guided us through their items. Hand sanitizer was placed on the counter for customer use, and the place itself looked very clean and sanitized. Food & Value: Their ahi tuna was very fresh, the melt in your mouth kind. They do not skimp on the amount of proteins and fixings on top of not charging extra for avocado (a true gem!). We're huge fans of sauces, and we loved how they tossed the fish in the sauces first before placing it with the rest of the bowl. A regular bowl (3 proteins) was under $10, a steal for how much you get and the quality of the fish. They also ask if you'd like complimentary miso soup, which was a nice added touch! The only comment we have is the shrimp was a bit chewy - it looked like they had bay shrimp that day based on the size, but it was still good and did not deserve taking a star off. If you're looking for a new poke spot, I highly recommend Poke Wave. The food and customer service were excellent, and our stomachs were full and happy.
