I am so happy a new poke place opened near me. After Poke-Ria closed I was so sad because the quality of their fish was outstanding. Once I saw the great reviews on Yelp for Poke Wave, I was convinced to try it. I'm really glad I did. It's a small place with takeout only (no issue for me), and the people working were so nice. The portions are generous and bowls come with a free miso soup. The fish is very fresh and all the toppings were excellent. This will be my new poke place! One of the best poke spots I've been to. Despite the lack of range in toppings, the poke bowl is still really good. On top of that they offer complimentary miso soup. Took off a star because unfortunately they sell 'Chaokoh,' a company that sells coconut products using forced monkey labor. I didn't know I would be getting this brand when I ordered online. It would've been helpful if they had listed the brand on their website. I hope pokewave does the right thing and drops Chaokoh. read more

Friendly staff and they give a decent amount of food + free miso soup! It's a little hidden gem tucked away in a shopping center. One thing they are missing is seaweed salad :( but I think avocado was included so that was definitely makes up for it. Definitely one of my go-to poke spots. read more

We found this place during the pandemic as we were looking for food that wasn't fast food. We are regulars now. My husband is not a poke fan loves this place. The fish is fresh and they are super generous with toppings. The prices are reasonable too. I did read that a few people are disappointed with the employees being curt. I found them to be super friendly when they are not busy. When they are busy, I believe they are focused on getting the food out quickly so maybe that's where the misunderstanding lies. read more

I have two girls that are 4 and 6 and they love poke. Their favorite one is in orange but after seeing the high reviews for poke wave, I thought we take a chance. Typically, we're disappointed because it isn't as good as our favorite place. However, this is now their favorite poke restaurant. The portions are great and you can add what you like. The fish tastes fresh and they give you the most delicious miso soup with your meal. The owners are super nice which is a plus in my book. I've been going to this place for a few months now and Max and his employees are the most polite and nicest people you will meet. I honestly leave this place everytime thinking how nice these people are. I am stunned by this bad review and my guess is Xochitl is referring to the wrong place. Their poke bowls are always dependable for a light, refreshing meal. They offer a wide variety of toppings, which include the imitation crab, avocados, cucumbers, and onions. Once they complete your bowl, you can choose to also garnish your poke bowl with the following additional toppings: crunchy garlic, crunchy onions, masago, edamame, seaweed, green onion, etc. The price is also very reasonable for the amount of food that they give you. They also give you a complimentary miso soup with every order, which is awesome. This business is family owned and the couple that owns this business is very sweet. It was my first visit tonight and it won't be my last! I ordered 4 poke bowls for the family. It was very tasty! I also enjoyed all the additional toppings available. Our tuna, salmon, and octopus was fresh. I gave it 4 stars because I felt the tuna and salmon pieces are small, but overall the bowl was very satisfying!!! It also came with miso soup (with each bowl), which was a great bonus. We also got some chili garlic condiment, which was fantastic! The service was superb. Came here since this is the only poke place in Anaheim hills now that poke ria is no longer operating(what took so long?). Walked in an immediately saw that the prices were cheaper than any other poke place I've been to. The fish looked fresh as well as all the other items. The bowl was a good size serving of fish, veggies and all the other fixins. The taste was great! The husband-wife combo were very nice and pleasant to deal with. They stated they are in the works to get some seating soon both inside and out. We will definitely visit again!! read more

I love Poke and eat it every chance I get so I was excited to see a new Poke place in Anaheim Hills. It's a tiny place which was ok but there was no place to sit, what's up with that?! I like that they have a kids size and a regular size which was is generous in portion. So initially I was going to give this place three stars because the fish didn't really taste fresh, flavor not great, and the rice was over cooked and mushy. But I gave it four stars because s they mixed the sauce in with the fish before they put the rest of the toppings on. Also what really moves them up to a fourth star was that every topping was included in the price at no additional cost unless you wanted more of it. I think that's fantastic and not normal for most Poke places. Would I try this place again, maybe. read more

Their poke is the best in the area :)) they have a variety of fresh ingredients that taste really good together and it's way better than other poke places that only give you fish and a few veggies . The prices are cheap and each order comes with miso soup! The inside is really cute with a great atmosphere and the owners are so kind to their customers; the woman who works the counter is so sweet! My friend and I came in after school and we split a kids bowl so she gave us two miso soups despite only having one order. It was a really nice gesture and I highly recommend this place.
