This is a great place for poke! I have been here many times, and finally took a picture of my food before just devouring it. The fish quality here is really fresh, and they have so many options. My typical order is yellowtail, albacore, and salmon and they all taste great. I also really love their variety of sauces and toppings. They give a generous about of food and the pricing is fair! The restaurant is small but there are a few tables inside. They also have a cooler that is always stocked with drinks. This is one of my favorite poke places in Orange County! read more

Out of all OC, this is the #1 spot. Most of the staff are great, and I've always gotten fresh fish. Highly recommend checking out the roll menu, since it's easy to miss. The baked salmon roll and red dragon are my personal faves. Really great hole in the wall, 10/10 read more

Most authentic poke bowl in the area. Flavors were on point. Whatever Roll is delicious. Most poke restaurant chains taste too saucy or are overpowered with different flavors. Stopped by here for a quick lunch with my friends! The price for a large, which is 5 scoops of fish, is 15$ which is great pricing! I shared this with my friend. The fish itself I think is better than most poke places, obviously not comparable to poke that is 20$ but for the price and amount, it's great! We also got the firecracker roll which was a hefty portion that we could share. Personally I loved the miso sauce, highly recommend as it doesn't overpower the fish! The quality is consistent, always getting the large poki bowl. Been coming quite often for at least over a year. The price is quite reasonable. The staff is nice. Other customers give radiating feedback when I come in to order which is a testament to the quality Oc the food and service. Small place that can accommodate small parties. More like an eat and run kind of feel. Never issue with parking. They are closed Sundays. read more

We had a friend in town and they were craving pokey. We yelped this place and it had good rating so we decided to give it a try. We stopped by around dinner time to place a to-go order. The gentleman who took our order give off the vibe/attitude that we were inconveniencing him. I tried to have some small talk with him, but he was just not having it. I tried asking him if he could recommend any of the sauces. He just mumbled he didn't really have a favorite. I thought that was kind of unusual. I guess he was having a bad day or something. The restaurant is pretty small with two small tables. Not much to sit and eat if you have a large party. Anyways, the food was alright. The fish was fresh and the portions were decent. read more

Definitely a local spot to go for. Small shop but very fresh ingredients. Not a lot topping but all basic are there and included. FREE avocado while others charge almost $2. Very welcome owner. Cheap shrimp tempura, and many sushi roll option. Haven't tried sushi but poke bowl is pretty good. Will come back for sushi. read more

I was craving poke later in the evening for dinner and found this gem! I went at around 8pm, 30 minutes before closing, and was testing the waters on the freshness since it was so late. First time trying this place and I was disappointed. The bowl was smaller than other places I usually go. Read the reviews and I'm not sure who is giving these 5 stars with what mine was like. The fish was warm, ginger was mixed into the poke, cucumber was sliced so thin and small that it looked and tasted like cabbage. Wasabi was dark green, almost like artificial green. Not sure how it tasted as I picked it out. Sauce was lacking, only 4 flavors, one of which is mayo and other is cream sauce Miso. My husband thought the same thing about this place. Best poke I've ever had! I really liked how they have an option to add tamago in your bowl. It was also very clear that they prioritized cleanliness which I appreciated because I brought my cousin with me and the fishiness of a poke place didn't bother her for once. I got the spicy tuna cut roll and salmon cut roll. Both were only $7 which was pretty cheap to me. Considering they were only $7 each, they were big and filling and also had cucumber inside. Located near Lee's Sandwiches and a Mediterranean eatery. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

Sorry to have to report this low star review but I think it's necessary. I've eaten at several "poke bowl" places and tried this one 3 days ago based on the good reviews. The only thing I can surmise from the other reviewers is that their experience at other Poke places is non-existent. I ordered the large bowl with 5 types of fish. What a let down! Most of the fish squares were gummy and too chewy for my liking and also tasteless. Maybe the guys who work there are new to this Poke thing, I don't know, but only time will tell if they last. I hope they upgrade the quality of their food and succeed in their endeavor. read more
