    Popcorn chicken
    Amanda C.

Poke Zone is a great local spot for delicious sushi, bento boxes and more! I ordered delivery from here, which took roughly 30 minutes - judging from previous reviews, it's likely because the popcorn chicken takes longer to prepare. I can't speak for the seating or ambiance if you choose to dine in. Starting with the chicken katsu bento, the breading of the katsu is light, thinly layered and maintains a delightful, crunchy texture that doesn't get soft or mushy. The chicken also retains its moistness and doesn't dry out. The salad adds a fresh, yet sweet profile due to the dressing. The egg is more of a jammy texture which I enjoyed. Also, the rice is cooked perfectly and is much needed for the balance of the bento. The California roll is classic and great! The roll itself is wrapped nicely and doesn't fall apart when you pick it up. The ratio of filling to rice is also even which I appreciate. The popcorn chicken is crispy and served in bite-sized pieces. Bonus points for filling the container to the brim! It's coated in spices with the batter and pairs well with the sauces provided. The only thing I'll say is that the smaller pieces expectedly dried out since the chicken is fried together in batches. Overall, I'd love to come back and explore more of their menu!

I ordered a poke bowl, but unfortunately the crab meat was missing from my order. Everything else was fine, but it was disappointing since I paid for it. I hope the restaurant can pay more attention to order accuracy in the future!!!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small spot with indoor/outdoor seating.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Super nice counter person. All sorts of fresh, made to order poke bowls, sushi rolls, ramen, and fruit or milk tea drinks. Prices are great too. I highly recommend checking them out! For the poke you put your order in on a paper ticket, checking what you want and hand to the cashier. Everything else you order normally.

Avocado add-on... $2 for 1tbsp??? Next time I'll buy a whole avocado for $2 and use that.

First time ordering from this place via Grubhub. It's hard to find a place that can accommodate a keto diet, so I was happy to give it a go. The ingredients looked and tasted fresh, and everything seemed made well enough. It wasn't a lot of food, so would probably be a better deal for people who actually get rice, toppings, and sauces in the poke bowls, because I found it pricey for my order (3 scoops fish, salad, avocado add-on). Especially $2 for one tablespoon of avocado. The spam musubi and chicken were for my son, who liked the musubi but not the chicken (although I thought the chicken was good). I might try a sashimi sampler next time to see if it's worth the cost and can be turned into 2-3 poke bowls if I buy my own salad mix and avocado.

Charged price and menu price are different

Do not come. Waited for more than 30 minutes to get two drinks, they charged me for price higher than the menu price and the drinks were wrongly made. This was very frustrating. Those who ordered poke and drinks were prioritized over my order. I politely reminded them but no improvement and I was still waiting. The staffs have bad attitudes, Never again!

The staff could be friendlier. But overall, it's a good restaurant. I really enjoy the food. I always end up coming back.

I dont usually write reviews and but poke zone surprised me with their portions..you gotta do better than this if you were going to charge me $16.

    Lion King Roll (8 Pcs)

I ordered on DoorDash for pick up. I walked in and saw two men making rolls. I told them my name and a man handed my order. I opened up the bag to double check if chopsticks and napkins were inside and it was. I made sure I got the extra sauce for the musubi as well. I ordered the spam musubi with egg and avocado. California roll. Dragon roll. And Lion King. They were ALL very delicious. The lion king roll was kinda stuck to the foil at the bottom so every time we grabbed one, it kinda fell apart. But overall the sizing of the sushi was PERFECT! It taste delicious! I think my favorite was the spam musubi and the sauce was CHEFS KISS! I will return.

I got the "Wow Roll" and the "2 scoop protein bowl" with the toppings listed as you order it!

The food was really fresh and tasty in every bite, super filling as well! I ordered off DoorDash so I was not able to see what the service was about but it was very quick which was great. [[HIGHLIGHT]]From what I've seen online it looks like a really great atmosphere and looked very clean/ well organized![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I will definitely be ordering from here again. The miso soup tasted good as well.

    Some bad poke

The unagi (eel) bowl had lots of bones in it. I couldn't eat it. The fruit also doesn't taste fresh. And yet so expensive? There are better places for poke and sushi.

Always love the poke bowls, quick, fresh delicious. Do not order kitchen items if you are in a hurry, 30 minutes to wait for a popcorn chicken. But it was hot and yummy!

I was craving California rolls so I decided to try this place out and everything was surprisingly really good. I gave it 4 stars because of the great value of what you're getting(: Tonkatsu ramen with chicken - 8/10 obviously this isn't a ramen shop so I didn't expect mind blowing ramen, but it was a really flavorful broth with juicy chicken. California rolls - 10/10 can't really go wrong with California rolls Tonkatsu bento - 7.5/10 a little overcooked but good value overall.

I came here for lunch with a friend and I loved the ordering sheets you fill out before you pay. The portions are great for the price and the fish was surprisingly great quality. If you're ever craving poke and in Chinatown, this is the spot !

Good (build to order) poke bowls. Not really any place to sit... but the food choices and value were really quite good.

The lighting is dim, providing a more elevated atmosphere. We came during lunch and surprising there was only 1 other guest there at the time. The staff seated us right away and we were able to order within a few minutes. The menu has a great assortment of sushi, bento boxes and more so if you're in a larger group, there is something for everyone. As a group of 3, my friends and I decided to split the meal family style and ordered bento boxes and a few rolls. The food came out within just a few minutes. The rolls are visually appealing and very appetizing. They held together nicely, although the spicy scallop roll was falling apart - however I do think scallop is trickier to work with so I didn't mind it. The bento boxes offered a great quantity of food for the price, so it was worth it! What stood out to me was the crisp texture of the tempura and katsu - only callout here is that the katsu was cut into thinner slices which you might not prefer if you like thicker slices. Overall, I'm glad I found this gem and I'm looking forward to a future visit!

Staff/Vibe- very friendly and throughout the service so many stopped by to check-in. Waters were constantly topped off and food was delivered very promptly. The restaurant itself is very intimate and tabletop dividers are largely used to shared tables. It was a really nice approach. I wasn't a major fan of the chairs for the tall tables. I was hoping for some more ergonomically friendly. Food- SIGNATURE RAMEN- 5/5. So good. The broth was so good I think I drank it all before eating any ramen and toppings. It was a wonderfully hearty ramen with a balance of fresh and simple ingredients. This was perfect and allowed the delicious broth to really be the star. LAMB RAMEN. 5/5. If you like south indian curries then this is a must. The dense cumin taste, fresh onions and lamb made this ramen feel very familiar. The flavours were so wonderfully constructed on this. VEGAN KAARAGE MUSHROOM. Made to be reminiscent of fried chicken, these were very pleasant and paired with our broth. I would order this again. I am interested in knowing the preparation method for this as the inside was piping hot while the outside was just warm- almost like it was reheated. I would like these to be crispier with a bit more light seasoning. Overall looking forward to the next visit!

Decent wine selection - Chardonnay was good. Restaurant itself is fairly loud, especially with a baby that kept crying. But it might have been crying because it was loud. Owners should consider the Constellation System by Meyer Sound to make the dining experience more enjoyable for patrons. I could eat 2 of these with a bowl of rice and it would be a hearty meal! + Chicken karaage was solid--crispy, good portion, and a nice appetizer. It's basically a Japanese version of chicken strips that is way better than nuggets. + Salmon sashimi for the kids never disappoints. ~ Chirashi bowl was fresh and filling, though standard compared to other spots. There was a lot of rice which if we knew that we probably would've skipped the extra bowl I ordered to eat with my lamb chops. For the somewhat premium pricing, I wish they provided fresh chopped wasabi. ~ Stuffed mushroom skewer was just okay--tasty but nothing special. I guess for mushrooms it does taste kinda like a chicken meatball which could be a good thing. Service/Ambiance (4 stars) + Attentive and thoughtful service, especially accommodating a broken foot. They let my family wait at the bar instead of standing. + Ambiance is that classic Japanese vibe, busy but comfortable.
